I cant think of any reason that any person would have to leave anything but a five star review here. Ive had some items framed, created, and enhanced here over the years, and have gotten nothing but A+ work and service. Amy and the staff know what theyre doing, run a community-minded and positive business, and I cant recommend them enough!

Amy and her staff are so wonderful to work with. I’ve used their services several times and have always had impeccable service. Last year I came into the shop with several large pieces that needed to be matted for a show in 2 weeks. They took the time to help me pick out all of my colors that would match my artwork best and they were able to get everything beautifully matted in a timely fashion. I HIGHLY recommend their shop.

An absolute circus! My mother ordered me an $150 print from Frame of Mind, for my birthday. My mother is retired and lives an hour and a half out of side of Missoula and I currently reside out of state. When I came to MT to get the birthday print she bought me, we opened the cheaply wrapped picture, only to find it wasn’t the piece she had even ordered. After looking at images online we found that the print in our position was only worth $45. My mother then called the shop and talked with one of their associates and was told that they would promptly be sending the correct order. Two days later the shop called my Mother and demanded she go buy a tube and send the wrong order back to them first, before they sent her what she had already paid for. They also told her that if they did not receive the wrong print within two weeks they we’re going to charge her for their mistake. My mother doesn’t live in a place where cardboard shipping tubes are available and during this pandemic my elderly mother is trying not to leave the house more than necessary. Why should she be the party responsible for purchasing such a tube when she had already paid for an $150 print that they didn’t provide the first time? Very unprofessional conduct on the behalf of the seller and terrible customer service. Never ordering from these people again!As someone who has worked in the art world for nearly a decade, I know an artist is only as good as the gallery selling their work. I hope Mr. Dolack respects his art and his fans, more than these individuals do.(Update) Not only has no apology been submitted (or ever was), now they’re tryIng to paint a 70 year old woman as threatening. It’s very apparent by other rightfully-poor reviews of this establishment that “When in the wrong, blame the customer”. Can one get any more “Karen”? Indeed there won’t be any more business done with amateur Amy and her crew.

These people dont even give W-2 forms to their employees. The place has potential but management needs a lot of work. It really is chaotic and a very disrespectful/rude environment behind the curtains. Bad attitudes and tax evasion is just rediculous and easily avoidable.

Frame of mind has a great design team that helped me choose the perfect matting and frame to compliment the art work. They were even able to take the wrinkles out of art. They have a great eye for design and excellent customer service.

They were very helpful in choosing a mat and frame difficult to match because of its unique black and white tone. They are professionals with an artistic eye.

Worth every penny.

Amy was very knowledgeable and helpful, and was able to price-match Michaels for my order of pre-cut mats. She can also get all the mat colors that Michaels has, and her glass is more affordable. I also bought a readymade frame and when I pointed out a nick on it, she really went to town and kept it overnight to touch it up and make sure it looked perfect. Nice informal atmosphere in the store, and she also hosts student art shows in her space. Highly recommended!
