Mishawakas oldest park is a very nice one. Its beautiful, overlooking the St. Joseph River.

Its a nice park, plus there is a cute little water fall.

The playground was fun for the kids but not awesome. But the rock area with the water fall leading down to the river was beautiful and me family loved that area so much

I really like this park, Its been about a year since Ive been here but I like how relaxing it is. This might not bother others but a big thing I noticed today was, there werent any geese around. Also didnt have to dodge a bunch of geese poop. I did appreciate that today

Last visit the water was not running, so had to go back and see. Relaxing, quiet and cool!

Enjoyed the lovely summer concert series and the fact that social distance was observed by all adds positively to the events.

I have always loved this park... In recent years they have done MAJOR improvements. Only able to give 3 stars because the playground is lacking (a short drive to Central Park is worth it for bigger kids). Itd be so great if this park would accomodate smaller children! Also, sometimes I fear for my safety with the very interesting/sketchy visitors . Although I hate to sound judgemental... I feel this is a hangout for people on drugs. My kids are scared usually.... Parking is rough too, you have to park unsafely on Mishawaka Ave which is extremely difficult.

I enjoyed this bizarre rock assemblage more than I thought I would. Would love to see it back in the day, fountains going, danger luring frisky kids into high risk escapades.

Beautiful scenery and quiet park, great for families and children

This park overlooking the St. Joseph River retains hints of its history with stone walls and rock skirted walkways. A band shell circa 1927 was the focus of our night there -- two of our grandchildren were in a community musical performance. The park also features a splash pad, childrens climbing center, a lazy water fall and amazing views of the river.

Relaxing, and wide enough side walks for wheelchairs, scooters and rollators to comfortably share the space. While busier in the warmer months, in the fall it occasionally does entertain the avid walker or runner, while still providing a local lovely walk for our furry friends (whom some become familiar .)

Its kinda small one for an outlet store, even some stores in cities have more various items

What a wonderful night time stroll! The day was way too hot to be outside, so we waited until sundown to enjoy the walk way. Even at night we felt safe here, & plenty of other polite people had the same idea & joined us in the cool night air.

Fun park, splash pad, play ground,swing set, tennis court. There should be better parking. No real parking lot, have to cross a road.

Awesome beautiful park that I guess was established in 1800s and served as a war Memorial. Absolutely beautiful scenery with a small playground for kids. The path along the river is gorgeous and calming.

Besides the goose poop... A great place to run and bike and walk. Band shells are near by for events when you can catch them!

Great pokemon here, and beautiful scenery for the kiddos there is a playground, bathrooms and drinking fountains. Also is leash dog friendly and they have a doggy water bowl fountain.

Mishawaka Parks and Rec’s Senior’s Night Out event was a huge hit! Tons of people here and beautiful weather!

The park is nice and my kids seem to like it. The rock garden is great and very relaxing as a place to just sit and read. The bandshell is a great place for events and small, local concerts. Also, part of the Riverwalk with is one of our favorite places to go walk!

Gorgeous scenery with the sounds of water running through a pseudo-natural filtration system. Theres even an ampitheatre!

A nice park along the river that includes a simple splash pad as well as band shell. Theres also a really interesting stream feature that goes down to the river, but its probably seen some better days. I like it just for the general shade and nearness to the river.

Great place, didnt get 5 stars because the basketball hoop was torn down.

Every time I come to this park it is always clean and well maintained. I definitely enjoy it! From having photos taken here of my boyfriend, pup, and I to just meandering about aimlessly and playing Pokemon Go (Sorry not sorry)... Its always a nice time and a beautiful park. Very dog friendly as well!

I love how close this park is to our house, its got a decent size playground but the park itself is pretty big with lots to see. Its a great place to walk with the river right there to enjoy. Theres a bathroom you can use also, and a small water area for the kids to enjoy. The park usually doesnt have a ton of people there so its not overly crowded which can be nice also.

VERY beautiful park! My husband and I actually got married here lol. typically very clean, great place for a family outing. my girls love the way they have the stream going through and down to the river. last time we went the water for it wasnt turned on yet but still enjoyed every minute we spent there

This is a beautiful park. Its connected to four other parks via the river walk (a lighted & paved path for pedestrians and cycling). It has a rock garden/flower stream with river access, band shell, 2 playgrounds, a tennis court, restrooms and many historic statues. This park is located within walking distance to the police station, a gas station, and many other local shops, as well as being located on bus route.

It was ok not many fireworks on the fourth I think next year we might just do our own thing and buy big fireworks at least we arent driving out of our way and well probably see more fireworks, parking was crazy and had to cross busy roads with two little ones with no crossing guards!
