Great place to meet and catch up with friends. the bill was reasonable. they have a lot of positive reviews for a reason.

Nice friendly bar with great pizza. Parking lot, patio, separate room for bands to play on a corner stage, dance floor, tables, chairs, and its own back bar!

Probably the worst service and food Ive ever experienced in my life. I know its popular amongst our citys finest, over 40% of PEACE officers (god bless) have enjoyed their fine fare but I just didnt see the appeal, tasted like pig slop. If you want to learn about their awesome relationship with the blue line community, look up 40% of police.

I had an excellent time here. I ended a night of fun at a metal show they hosted. It was wonderful. The staff at the bar was absolutely amazing at making sure everyone got served. I would come back here.

When you say hey lest go get day drunk you find your self here. Prices are good drinks are good glasses are clean.This is a fun place to take over the juke box and whatch what the locals think of quality music instead of getto hip hop.They get decent bands to play here. They clearly dont have janitors here obviously by the stank in the restrooms. This place could use a infusion of any person who would give a rats behind. Yes I know its a punk rock bar. Great its not 1977 anymore clean this place up and give a SH*t about not looking like a chronic alcoholics hang out here.

Definitely a local hangout. The customers were a little mean to the bartender but she handled it all in stride. Lots of flatscreens for sports and the stage is nicely placed in another room for watching the bands play.

The TouchTunes kiosk defaults to childrens music, Sarah McLachlan and other terrible music; forcing you to put in money to change it. Would not recommend.

Great staff! Band was amazing!!! Employees outside were so helpful with finding a fast cab service for us! They arrived within 7 min of placing the call! Also watched out for everyones safety with entrance to and exiting of the bar!

A storied bar of Minneapolis that has lost much of its appeal. While they still have free shows, they dont seem to have any drink specials or even actual glasses. I can go to a college house party if I want to drink Miller out of a plastic cup, and for cheaper. The fact that theyre cash only too is also a bummer.

Sadly, this bar is toasty fritters after the riot.

The bartenders on the game side were cool, I didnt get a chance on the event/stage side. It was a weird night, but a lot of people were having a great time.

Its a cool little Chill Spot to have a few drinks and play darts

Classic neighborhood bar, live music, pool tables and a pizzabm plus plenty on tap.

I go here for the bingo( which should be $200 for consultation not $99!!!) & sometimes drinks...drinks are good though..Wait staff is great!! They also need to be more versatile on music. Ive been coming here for many years & now its all punk & metal ( which is fine ). But get some 80 rock n roll in here too!!!

Fun place to take in some pull tabs and a game of pool.

The show we played at Hexagon was spectacular. Load-in and gear storage was easy, and parking was ample. Staff took excellent care of us and the scene absolutely came out! Not once did we feel unsafe or like our gear, friends, or body were in danger.

Seen and played a bunch of shows at the Hex. Its a blast. Not much else to say. Its a dive bar in the truest sense, but a really charming and lovable place. Youll have to see it yourself.

This is a dive bar. I might add a star if the faucets in their bathroom were fixed. Friendly staff and customers though. For a dive bar, the drinks are getting more expensive and they charge separately for a lime - just seems petty.

This is a standard neighborhood bar with pool tables, darts, and live music on the weekends. The musical talent isnt that good and its so loud you can hardly have a conversation

Great dive bar. Shows are free, crowd is usually pretty friendly. Buy your drinks from the back bar to support the bands! Also, they have Heggies, so, cant go wrong with that.

I didnt on what to expect at first but after going i like the setup. They have two sides. Thats versatile.

Its a crappy dive bar but its OUR crappy dive bar. Whether they realize it or not, they are carrying the Twin Cities metal and punk scene on their shoulders... as sad as that might be for the metal and punk scene.

The dive bar vibe is ok. But that doesnt make up for very slow service, order mixups and drunk bartenders.

Cool place. Kinda divey but in a clean way, like a 1960s small-town TV-show bar but 50 years too late. Bingo, pulltabs, meat raffle. Popcorn machine, darts (plastic AND bristle boards). About $5 for a beer. Nice folk but if youre not from MN (which Im not) make sure you dont comment on the intensity of the bingo or wonder what the **** a meat raffle is- this applies to all bars in MN.

The Hexagon bar consistently books great local and out of town bands. The bar staff are very nice making every interaction a positive one. I plan on returning for future nights of music in the future.

The people we so cool! Awesome live electronic music. I love the battle between the rock sports bar side and the Indy dance music side. This is a cozy spot that can give you the thrills of a bumpin downtown club. Cool diverse crowd.

So if you really want to party at a real Minneapolis dive bar, this is one of them. If you think Psycho Suzies is a dive bar, this isnt for you. I mean all of this as a compliment. If you want to drink with real people, and not suburbanite tourists, just come here. Do not expect a fancy drink menu or mixologists. Keep it simple, and youll be fine.

Ive always loved coming here for over 10 years. Fun little dive bar. Darts, Pool and Pull Tabs. They also have a little patio for smokers or to enjoy the summer air which is cool. My last visit here was disappointing but only because the price of what I drink went up tremendously. Im a cognac drinker so my BF and I each ordered a Hennessy and Beer. The total was just under $40. I mean... Im a bartender so I see alot of price fluctuations but thats just crazy. They said the price of Hennessy went up and thats cool and all but this isnt Las Vegas. $40 for 2 shots and 2 beers not including tip??? I may stop in for a beer here and there and if you dont drink this by all means pop in because it is a awesome dive bar. But because of this reason I wont frequent here anymore.

Nice hole in the wall place south Minneapolis. Close to Riverside and on a bus route. Pretty cheap stiff drink. Pool darts and free popcorn.

Lisa and Angie are the only two good things about this place. Its dirty and it smells, although there have been some recent moderate improvements like new carpeting. When there are bands, theyre pretty much all horrible and theyre all way too loud.Bottom line: if theres another nearby bar open, go there instead.

The only time Ive ever been here, a random woman walked up and punched me in the face for literally no reason, and her friend apologized by telling me shes just bad at judging distances when shes drunk.Well I guess me too, random drunk lady.Strong drinks. Chill dive. Live music. Its not a bar to order a Sazerac at, and thats ok.
