The line to get in this place was nuts on Thursday but I had to see what the big deal was. When I finally got to the door I was greeted by a couple security guys that were doing their best to keep everyone entertained. The banter between them was a riot. Once I got inside I understood the reason for the line. This place is easily the hottest club in Minneapolis on Thursday nights. It seemed like everyone was dancing and having a great time. The music was awesome, drinks hit the spot, and I was told to go upstairs and check out the bull. I didn’t ride it this time bit will have to try it out next time. This is a great place and will definitely be coming back.

Great new country bar in the heart of downtown Minneapolis! Fun and safe atmosphere, great music, bar swings, and they even have a mechanical bull! Definitely check it out!

Went with a few friends, got to the bar and ordered drinks, they waited until we paid for the drinks and then kicked us out with no explanation, and didn’t even let us get our drinks we paid for. Which were extremely overpriced by the way. (We are all 23+ so no idea why they kicked us out after letting us in less than 5 minutes prior)

One of the best bars in Minneapolis to check out on a Thursday night. I lived in AZ for many years and this nightclub reminds me a lot of the clubs back home in AZ. Very friendly staff and in Thursday’s rail drinks and domestic beers are only $1 until 11pm! Downtown Minneapolis, those prices are hard to beat. Because it’s 18+, they do charge $2 for water but because they do let in customers they cannot drink alcohol, they have to make money somehow.Friday and Saturday all rail drinks and domestic beers are buy one get one free until 11, and even after that, they have the cheapest drinks in downtown Minneapolis. This place is great and I highly recommend checking it out!

The place is legit. It gets busy tho. The security is always friendly to me. The tenders always take great care of me. I even had a lady friend who was being harrassed and they staff literally swarmed the situation and removed the disturbance fast and fairly. I will be going back, and I will be telling my friends. The mechanical bull is a riot. Ladies, be aware of your potential wardrobe malfunctions.

Full body pat down to enter.Paid for coat check left two hours later, forgot my jacket.Upon return, they demanded I pay a re-entry fee to get the designer jacket back. I refused,and tried to hand them my coat check ticket. While pulling out my wallet, security snuck behind me and grabbed me.Putting me in a choke hold, suddenly, about seven pairs of hands were on me. Cussing at me and throwing me to the curb in front of the police was normal for them.Security stole my designer clothes, I was almost arrested.Frisked, grabbed, pushed, had my clothes stollen, almost beaten and wrongly arrested.

Love Gregs! Great beer, great music, but the best part are the workers and staff! They seem to be like a family and care about making sure everyone has a fun and safe time! I would highly recommend checking our Wild Gregs!

It Was my birthday yesterday got a free 20 dollar coupon to get drinks which was nice. And its a cool 2 level saloon. Rode the bull which was 5 bucks so thats a good price and i like the swings by the bar . Waitresses were friendly and the service was as well . The country singer there sounded good as well .

Went on college night tonight, got in and was given lame Xs on wrist. My friend had to leave to pay parking, bouncers would not let her back in, even with the Xs on her wrist, falsely accused of drinking, she was stone sober..designated driver. I was in lobby waiting for her to come back, bouncer would not let me back in, I just walked into lobby to wait for friend to pay parking, had to give bouncer my ticket to get my jacket, wouldnt even let me get my jacket. Other 21 and old were getting let in were smashed. We were not. Bouncers need major training to recognize who is and is not drinking. Not fare and very rude to us that were not even drinking. We and friends will not return. Not worth the hassle from bouncers. Not even when we turn 21.

Finally another country bar in MN! Large dance floor and no cover every time Ive been there. Not sure what the other reviews are saying.Place gets busy, but the additional bar upstairs helps greatly.As of this writing, Thursdays are 18+ college nights and the line to get in is out the door. So if youre 21, go during the weekend. Plus youll get a live band playing Friday and Saturday.

I’m 21...they thought my REAL ID was a fake because it didn’t have an expiration date... Bouncer gave my ID to the another bouncer named Paul, who took my ID and told me to walk. I’ve haven’t been so mad in a while, I was furious. I literally had to go talk to the cop to go search me up and tell this idiot of a bouncer Paul to let me in. Please for the love of god get some bouncers with brains who actually who don’t take away real 21 year old IDs cause it didn’t have an expiration date when it scans and works perfectly fine.

Super fun! We went for the margarita and taco bar crawl and that was just disappointing because the margs were not good. But the taco bar was excellent! We stayed way past the end of the crawl until pretty much bar close! Fun atmosphere and music! There was a live band that was insanely good! Definately will be coming back!

Had been to Gregs many times before going this past Thursday for college night. The website says no cover fee for 21+. When I arrived around 10 pm the bouncer checking ids gave me a wrist band but didnt indicate which line to get in once inside. There was no indication which line to get in so I mistakenly got in the 18+ line. Once I got to the cashier who was taking the under 21 $10 cover fees I showed her my wrist band and started to walk in but was stopped by another bouncer who said 21+ has to pay a $5 cover fee. The website clearly says no cover fee for over 21. My friend before me was told to put the $5 cover fee in the tip jar which was clearly a scam. I paid the $5 at the cash register which I later found out she charged me $10 even though I had shown her my wristband multiple times. I went to get a drink upstairs and asked a bartender when they started the $5 cover charge and he told me to shut up and hand him the $6 I owed for the drink. He never gave me an answer. I then went downstairs to try to get reimbursed $5 since they overcharged me. The first bouncer I talked to looked at me and just ignored me. I then went and asked the cashier who overcharged me and she said too bad. Finally after speaking with 5 extremely rude staff members I found one who treated me with some respect. He told me that they started the 21+ $5 cover charge recently but dont advertise it on the website because the owner is a money w**** which were the exact words of the bouncer. He apologized to me for the poor service. To add insult to injury my friend was holding a friends drink for her just for a second (we all are 21 with wristbands) and a bouncer said you cant have two drinks at once he tried to explain he was only holding it for a second but the bouncer squeezed the drink in his hand spilling all over my friend. Two bouncers grabbed him and one of them slammed his head against the wall. This was THE WORST display of customer service I have ever seen. I will never be going back and advise others not to either. Its unfortunate that since they are one of the few places to offer 18+ nights there will always be big crowds and it will allow this abuse to continue.

Staff was incredibly rude when I tried to enter the bar. I was denied access for looking too young even though I am over 21, was the DD for the night, and have a valid real ID. They wouldnt explain why I was being denied, past youre too young, and they wanted to confiscate my ID (Thankfully they didnt otherwise driving home would have been hard).Please note, I wasnt drinking that night because I was the DD (So I wasnt stumbling in or slurring my speech). Im of legal age with an ID which they refused to swipe to even check based on how I looked, and I was dressed appropriately in jeans, t-shirt, and a jacket.I understand that bars have the right to turn away anyone they want. But at least be civil about it and respectful enough to explain why, especially if you are denying one person from a large group forcing the entire group to change destinations.If you want to have a good time around respectful people, I suggest you go to a different bar.

Holy hell. Aside from being an over-crowded downtown bar, this place is a mess. Over-priced, watered-down drinks, trash everywhere, rude staff.

The exit is not clearly lighted and ended back up at the entrance. Bouncer was aggressive with me trying to exit there when there was no one in line. Tried to leave and he was aggressive and shoved me back in the bar. I questioned his decision to shove me back in if he wanted me out and that upset him more. Shoved me some more to emphasize he wanted me out... will never go to this place again based on how I was treated

Staff is selective and incredibly rude they’ll smack your drinks out of your hand right after you step from the bar, rip your hat out off and threaten to kick you out for absolutely no reason

Security made me pay $20 to not get kicked out and I had done nothing wrong. I was on the floor and a young security pulls me aside and goes “so here’s the deal, you pay me $20 or you’re out.” I was furious who tf does that to someone who just paid $10 to get in and had to pay $2 for WATER!! Awful
