I was looking for a place for my cousin and I to have fun. So I came onto this place last night and it was almost a perfect experience. We first parked in front of the place and the doorman was asking for $30 which I didnt see a sign or something stating that. So an indication would have been helpful for a start. I gave him $40 to get me 10 back, but then he was like oh, you dont tip? I was like confused, I ask for the 10 back to work out a tip, but then he was like Im a different entity. That was just not normal. He needs to be clear he doesnt do change. The woman at the jacket check was nice and helped us with my purchase of the $100 VIP. The manager was also pleasant for both of us and brought us to our VIP table. The other guy who was servicing our table was also nice and helpful. The woman server was fun and sweet, got to join us and the other dancers to talk. It was like a guys dream come true to have multiple women at our table and having the attention and talking. We had like 3 rounds of shots in a couple of hours with the girls. I paid for like 3 dances and paid one for my cousin while he paid for more for him. We stayed until closing. The man servicing our table did thank us and we thanked him for the entertainment. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Just a few pointers for the others reading. Use exact change to avoid confusion and conflict. Make it clear if somethings a tip or not. Ask for change if you need it.

My friend and I are visitors to the Minneapolis area. We happened to stop by this bar out of curiosity. I ordered one glass of wine, and my friend ordered one glass. One of the dancers Jewel insisted that I buy her a shot, and I agreed to it. When I left I signed a receipt that had a total of $23, and I left a cash tip for the server. When I checked my statement today they’d taken out $75. Someone is a thief at this company.

Unbelievably pushy front desk girl and hostesses pushing bottle service and very mediocre talent. She asked us SIX times if we wanted bottle service and refused to the $50 bill I put in front of her for our cover charge. Truly pathetic behavior. Ordered a Champagne split and they opened a half bottle. Total joke of a club... We left after 20 minutes.

Had the chance to visit this joint last night with the wife and a few close friends. I really enjoyed myself! The place is comfortable and clean and the girls are beautiful and sexy and not pushy at all.My favorite girl of the night was Cocoa! Beautiful, tall and a bright personality combined with a great smile. Ricks is the place to be!

Several of us from college decided to meet in Mpls and we chose to go to Ricks Cabaret. Im writing this because we make this tradition in many cities and the only thing that sets these place apart is the hospitality. We had a great time. We decided to purchase bottle service and the experience was well worth it. The service was top notch and the hosts and managers were there for anything we needed. Thanks again, we will definitely be back soon.

I had a great time, the door lady was very polite, friendly, and beautiful. Soon after entering I got a drink, which was reasonably priced for a gentlemens club. After getting my drink I was greeted by the manager who went out of his way introduce himself and shake my hand, he was friendly. I proceeded to get a dance from one of the girls, all girls there on a Wednesday late afternoon where beautiful polite and friendly, this is not an exaggeration. Overall I had a good time, I could see a patron going to ricks just for drinks without the entertainment. The other patrons there where well dressed and seemed respectable. Not sure why Ricks has negative reviews, I would assume the people leaving negative reviews are going to Ricks in a bad mood or expecting some kind of service. Dances are priced typically for a gentlemens club, drinks are cheap compared to similar establishments. It was a nice clean place, in my experience, the employees and management provided better customer service than every restaurant or bar I have been to in the twin cities. I can tell custom service is a priority at this establishment I dont think some of these reviews on here are a fair assessment.

YMMV, but heres my review of my interaction with this establishment. As the best man, Ricks was chosen as the place to host the bachelor party on this past J4 weekend for my cousin and I was in charge of it. I live out of town so I couldnt visit the place before hand but I reviewed their packages online and chose to do the ELITE package. Instead of doing it on their website, I called and talked to the GM Mike. I went over how many people were coming and asked if he could accommodate. He then asked if I was going to do bottle service and I told him I was interested in the elite package. He says thats doable and that to just show up that night and ask for him at the front desk. I then asked if I needed to pay upfront or anything and he says no. Cool. Come the night of, we arrive and I ask for Mike as he told me to and he says he remembers talking on the phone but then proceeds to tell me I cant get the package because its an online only deal and since I didnt buy it online, I couldnt get the deal. Now on the bottom of the page, it says you can walk in and get any package but youll just have to wait. I guess Mike cant read. I didnt feel like arguing so I just went with it since we were already there. He takes my party of 20+ to a corner with 2 small couches and leaves. WTF. Servers come over and then realizes it aint gonna fit us all so they move us. Before moving us, I order the 3 bottles as whats somehow required of us.Server comes back and gives me the total and then wants $200 additional for tip. I thought I misheard and was like what? Let me clarify, the package I was not allowed to get included gratuity already. At this point, my 3 bottles equated to MORE than the package I wanted which included 3 bottles, tip, and more. Now, they wanted more money. The server is holding my CASH in her hands in front of her and I at this point. I then put my hands back onto my money and tell her F it, Im Audi 5000. They then proceed to tell the rest of my guys theyll then settle for the grand I put in their hands already as I walk to the entrance to leave with my money. Out the door I go and Mike asks me where Im going. Give him the I got a call to take excuse that Im sure hes used to by now from girls.I get it that normally bottle service requires that kind of tip but them trying to finesse money out of me with all this BS is just ridiculous. They have low ratings for a reason and this is why. NEVER AGAIN!

Went there with three friends from school . Got a dance paid up right away . Big mistake . Dance was over and dancer proceeded to tell me I didn’t pay ? I was completely sober . Looked over to my friend and his dancer did the same thing . Told her I would give her ANOTHER 20 for a dance . She said ok . Took my 20 and walked away. Moral of the story watch out the dancers will hustle you. Dancer was constantly talking to another dude also while I was getting my dance. Watch out, the dancers are drugged out as well.

Save your money, Its one of the worst strip club Ive been to. They missed on almost every point. First off the bouncer was rude like we had done something when we had just shown up, which left a bad taste in my mouth right away but my friend insisted we go inside. So we pay the cover and order some drinks and some wings. The waitress brings our drinks which were good but overpriced, and these soggy half cooked chicken wings. I asked her if I could get a replacement and she just rolled her eyes. Then she tried to tell me my order was $8 more because they had to remake my order. No place Ive ever been to has tried to charge me to remake my food, nor should they. So I finally get some edible food when these two creatures come over and try to get us lap dances. Im alright at keeping them away with a stick but this other girl tries to sit on my buddys lap, then claim it was a lap dance and demand $20 from him. I paid her off so she wouldnt call security, then some other homely girl comes over and tries the same thing on me. Spent $120 in ten minutes and all I got was two overpriced drinks, lousy chicken wings, and a lap dance for my friend from a girl built like a sherman tank. Save your money, go across the street to Downtown Cabaret if you want a classy upscale experience for about the same price. The only redeeming factor is the bartender knows how to make a good drink.

Hi. I came here by myself. That was my first mistake. My second was bringing my credit card. By the time I was done I had spent $5000 and I didnt even get...Anyway. The hosts were otherwise great. Id leave zero stars if I could. Walk in and they talked us into buying a bottle. Which is fine. They take us to our seats and two servers come over. All this place did was try and up sell you at every opportunity they could. We were asked if we wanted crown instead of the bottle we ordered. We declined and got the original one. The waitress poured us all a drink. I remember her coming back to pour myself one more drink. Otherwise I refilled my cup and my friends cups multiple times. Some dancers came over and sat with my buddy next thing I know im getting asked by the waitress if its ok to get them shots cause my buddy said it was. No my buddy never did say it was ok. So we declined that as well. Got asked multiple times to go in the naughty room $150 for 15 min or $300 for 30. When it came time to go our waitress demanded a tip. Now I always leave a tip and planned to but now you demand one after you barely helped us and tried to constantly up sell. I asked to see a receipt and she got all snotty and finely said fine. I followed her down to the bar to get it. She was so rude so I called her out on it and called her something I shouldnt have. She walked over got a bouncer and kicked me out. They said she told them I pushed her. No I said you go check your camera then I never touched her. So at a bottle mark up of around 1250%, rude up selling waitresses, strippers that drink your alcohol, puke in the sink, and getting accused of things you did not do. I would stay far far away from this place if I was you.

First time in a gentlemans club, I was really nervous but a beautiful women named Roxy was extremely patient and helpful. She did not push me into anything. There entire staff was very encouraging. Their outdoor security deals with traffic issues in an inappropriate and unprofessional manner. It is gross.

What a disappointing and frustrating experience. We had a group of around 10 people. They made half our group wait outside, in the rain, while the first half checked in.Our server was so aggressive about bottle service and said that our whole group could only pay with one credit card. The cheapest bottle was $210 for flavored Pinnacle Vodka. We repeated multiple times that our group wanted different drinks for each person and were not interested in sharing a bottle. When we asked (3 times) for time to think it over, the server kept responding, I cant believe you would consider getting anything but a bottle! She was tagged out by another server who let us get separate drinks and pay separately.There is no stripper pole and no real cabaret show. The dancers just kinda walked around on stage and stood in front of a fan that blows their hair.It took over 45 minutes to leave after we asked for our tab and only three people paid with credit card. To get your credit card *and* drivers license back, you have to sign your receipt, the bartender has to process it, then the manager has to sign it, then you get your card and license back. We had to talk to the server, house mom, and the manager to get our three cards and licenses back. It seemed like they just wanted to hold us there so we would buy more drinks and dances.If you, against your better judgement, decide to give Ricks your time and money--pay in cash and go with a small group.

Ive been going to Ricks for many years, and everything has been fine. Just recently, I have been discriminated against for NO REASON, and denied entry. Im really starting to think the head staff, one person in particular named (Manny) does not like black people. My brother and I were walking in and as we were, he approached me and said, are you getting VIP? And I responded with, not tonight, but are you still serving food because I would like to order immediately if you are with some drinks? He replied saying they were still serving food, but I couldnt get in because I wasnt getting VIP. Was that the real reason? Then I asked him was he serious, and said why cant we get in really... then he said we were out of dress code. Now mind you, Ive been going here for YEARS and this has never happened, I know the dress code well. If anyone knows the head boss at corporate or whatever, I would love to talk to him. But until then, I will NOT spend another dollar with this establishment due to the way they discriminated against me for NO REASON. Ive never caused a problem or done anything wrong! Smh.

This establishment illegally uses the bike lane as parking for cabs, and multiple incidents have been documented on video involving staff, cab drivers, and patrons attacking cyclists for requesting they clear the bike lane. These incidents have included verbal threats, homophobic slurs, actual physical assault, and robbery.

Imo best spot in Minneapolis, great selection of ladies, booze alittle pricey but so are nightclubs and all. Seat are great to watch the dance floor. And Im in love with dancer named May, to bad last time she told me she wasnt gonna be there much longer. I have been to Ricks several times, more than a half dozen I would say. I am generally disappointed with the women there. The women are not that attractive and there are not enough blondes in my opinion. The drinks are overpriced compared to other strip clubs I think. The biggest problem I have with Ricks is that the music is way too loud and there is not enough bass for the volume of the music, compared to DTC. I have spent many hours and hundreds of dollars at Ricks but probably wont go back. The type of women there are just not my type I guess. I like petite blue-eyed blondes. I prefer Spearmint Rhino now, that is my favorite and I have become a regular at the Rhino now. The only thing I actually like about Ricks is the location. I know where I can park for free on weekends not too far away, which is nice. But that is not enough to bring me back, in light of all the negative things I dont like about it. Dont really care for the bathroom attendant thing either. They dont really have a pole there, and that is kind of unique and what makes Ricks what it is, but I dont really care for that myself. I dont see that as a plus. Its not a bad place, but I have found places I like more, which now is mostly the Rhino.

Went in on the night of 04/28/2017. Upon arrival I agreed to a makers Mark bottle package for my party of four for $325.00(later turned out to be $425). Everything went smooth until the end of the night. A $100 special turned into a $452.00 charged on my account. On top of that, my dancer(African American) robbed me of all the cash in my wallet. Upon arrival, I had taken $300 out of the atm and barely used $60 in cash. Came home and noticed my wallet was emptied. Shame on Ricks Cabaret for these unethical practices. Will be disputing all these charges

I contracted chlamydia from a stripper who followed my partner to his car in Ricks Caberet parking lot and gave him oral sex. Ricks should provide their girls with mandatory free STD testing. Surprised, sex allowed on premises.

My husband and his friend were drugged (per physician drug test) and the manager tried to approve over $10k in lap dances ($2k per dance!!) on their credit cards (which werent returned to their wallets, but were stolen)!!
