Great place to see a play. My granddaughter did an outstanding job. Everyone wore a mask including actors. Also social distancing.
The several theater groups share Broadway Theater Center premises for their performances.I was attending “My mother is Italian, my father is Jewish....” - it’s one man show- I was impressed with acting. This theater was a perfect match for this show because it is relatively small - only 120 seats - with great sound and a very cozy, family like atmosphere. Being here give one a taste how the XIX century entertainments work - everything is vintage and authentic .
Socially distanced seats. Great messaging on masks. Box seats with plexi glass.Felt safe here in my first trip to a theater since March.
Lunch + Delightful Sunday matinee..Lunch was delicious, Spelling Bee was funny. Staff were very pleasant and helpful! Good, relaxing time. I loved the ambiance of the theater too!
Ive been here many times over the course of 2 years. They have great shows in both a large sized theatre and in a small theatre next door. There is a nice restaurant located on the second floor where you can get small finger foods, but also large entrees. You may get alchohol if youre 21 and you may bring it into the theatre with you. The coffee is from Colectivo as well. Most of the employees are friendly and kind.
Looks lovely.
We saw a sharply executed comedic farce, performed by an energetic troupe that could have written it in for the day as the show was closing the following day. Regarding the building itself, it is an older building, but extremely well maintained, including the upper floors where one can find a bar to get a drink while waiting for the doors to open for seating. Once seated, you see there do not appear to be any bad sight lines. However, we sat in row D and rows A and B seemed a bit too low to enjoy a play. So depending on what type of show you see, I recommend just avoiding the temptation of the front row
Absolutely fantastic, Newies was wonderful. The talent those kids have are fantastic. What a great night
Got a small discount on tickets as seniors. Went to a matinee. Parking can be difficult in this area just south of downtown. We lucked out with street parking but had to go out and plug the meter at intermission. The particular show was Unnecessary Farce. It was excellent. Comedy of this sort is mostly about timing. The cast nailed it. And nailed some particularly inspiration and hilarious dialogue. Good job director. Looked like senior afternoon but I laughed till my stomach hurt. Comfortable seating, happy patrons, small house. So glad we went.
A beautiful venue in a historic district giving a timeless aesthetic and welcoming warmth
Enjoy the shows. Food and drinks available in the upstairs bar, restraunt.
The BTC has some of the best shows in town and a great Bistro for drinks and food before the show starts.
We saw a film there for the first time during the Milwaukee Film Festival. It was a high quality presentation in a comfortable, beautiful theater.
Nice theater. Comfortable seats!
A great, intimate theater for both stage and screen.
Absolutely love this plays. Everytime is a great experience. Staff is very nice and friendly. Very clean and pleasant place. Shows are great!!!
Great performances. Beautiful theater. Seating is cozy.
Nice place! Saw a movie here for the Milw film festival.
Christmas in Babylon excellent. But need to STOP recommending that national parking RSVP system as lot we reserved/ paid for said they cant see or handle those & had no pkg space for us!!!
A newer theater built like a cozy old one. Every seat in the house is good. It is a must visit if in Milwaukee for more than a day.
Neat, small theatre! Being handicapped the only drawback is 3rd Ward parking.
I saw Annie here, 40 years after seeing the original on Broadway. I cannot help feeling this production was as good...maybe even better. I saw it here with the LIGHT cast. The actors playing Annie and Molly were standouts. The other actors were all equally good. Kudos to everyone involved.
Visited this theater twice in one week, several companies work out of this site with the largest being the Skylight Opera. There are several work spaces and all of them very nice. I have season tickets for two other venues not associated with this complex so dont visit as often as I would like.
Well its a beach area that the city is trying to improve but in my opinion falling short on making this a great beach area no showers port a poddy for rest rooms they have a building there that at one time was the beach house but not in use now parking is gotten better probably the best beach in Kenosha
Cool space. Oklahoma sucked.
We are season ticket subscribers. The Skylight continues to do an outstanding job at bringing the best in live musicals to Milwaukee. Were happy to support the Arts and the Skylight.
I had never gone to the Cabot Theatre before. I was impressed at how well a modern facility captured the ambiance of a vintage theater. Excellent play also.
I went to see the play Strange Snow. It was absolutely awesome! I will return here for future plays.
We liked Pippen. The acting was very very good! The lights shining out into the audience from the back of the stage was a bit distracting, but the show is certainly worth going to see.
Went and saw Hairspray! It was amazing (loved the actor who played the Mom) and the venue is beautiful. Restaurant/bar upstairs totally worth checking out.
Came here to see a musical my girlfriends high school was in. The gallery was very original looking, and quite warm feeling. I liked how the seats wrapped around the stage, very original style. The only thing I didnt like was the reception area, since it was really close to another room where they were doing a reading session - but Im nit-picking.Overall, loved this place.
Great show on a Sunday afternoon. Cast very talented.
Beautiful main theatre with a smaller black box theatre and a small cabaret/bar. They do a great variety of shows with the three theatre companies in the building that use these stages. Always a good night out.
Talks before shows are nice. Helpers are wonderful. Every show I have seen was excellent. Every seat is great.
Very nice experience. Nice seating, comfy and very personal feeling.
Skylight is the most beautiful theatre in Milwaukee. Love going upstairs after a show for a beverage.
A beautiful venue!
Amazing place to see opera. Saw Tales of Hoffman. This is a traditional 3 tier, close proximity opera house of old, and absolutely intimate with amazing acoustics. Ill be back.
Very nice theater styled after classical European theaters. Definitely worth going.
Always a great show. Love this theyre. Much better than the MKE Rep
We enjoy going to Skylight theater productions there. The Cabot theater is wonderful!
One of the most beautiful theaters is the midwest.
Always see great performances here. Highly recommend
Beautiful gem of a theater. We saw Death Trap and it was excellent. First time there will be. Back
Cool place to be and watch a play.
Really nice place, very pricey. i think if it didnt cost so much more people would go
Wonderful theatre space, shows, and staff. Always a pleasure to go there.
It was great
Fantastic small venue, excellent cast, performance really hit home and caused the audience to think.
Great theatre. We saw ZOMBIES FROM THE BEYOND. Fantastic musical comedy.
Annie was fantastic. Voices and staging terrific. Great Christmas activity.
The Cabot theater is intimate and gorgeous; an excellent venue, with amazing musical theatre by Skylight, as well as other small theaters.
A nice venue for an intimate gathering.
Annie was an incredible production. Intimate space and great sound!
Great theater. Good performers
Went to a play Top Girl and had some interesting twists
The theater has more to show then just whats on stage. The art of how the theater is stylized is uplifted promise. On the ceiling is a mural of what looks like a city scape encompassing the audience. Old turn of the century sconces adorn the inner pillars and side walls. On the second level lies a will stocked bar that is open durning intermission. The few times Ive gotten drinks, o had nothing to complain about, good price for what i got.The seats were comfy if a bit cramped. I can say, for the most part, where i was seating, i couldnt really see a badly placed spot.
A jewel in our city.
Love it so much.
Have loved every event we have ever attended here
Lovely building
Beautiful theater, intimate space and amazing theater companies that offer a variety of theatrical experiences. A cultural gem.
Great production of Pippin.
Great entertainer and will be back
Super cute little theater with some pretty decent shows!

Saw Luna Gale and a great space with top quality acting and directing. Especially Marques Causey.
Expensive but worth a 5 star rating for 5 food & ehtertainment.
