Came here for their valentines day show and we had a great time. The gentleman running the show was very knowledge and also very funny. The theater itself is huge. Entertaining show and even learned a very things too.
Cute theater with a concession stand. We were there for the Dinosaur show and it was okay however they should recommend a minimum age for the show. My 4 year old was scared half the time as it was more graphic than you would expect. They also need ushers or someone to ensure other guests are quiet and respectful of others during the show.
The Daniel M. Soref Dome Theater & PlanetariumIs a planetarium Dome Theater. Located in the Milwaukee Public Museum They offer different movies to see such as planets, dinosaurs, the ocean they also have limited time viewings of other movies. The seats are very comfortable you do have leg room. Its a great experience
Always a pleasure. Staff is knowledgeable and passionate about their work.
Little pricey for what it is, cool concept and could really be neat with a little more substance in the programs
Had a great time and learned so much about our stars and planets. Out of this World
One of the only saving graces of my Milwaukee experience. Great exhibits.
My kids really enjoyed coming here for the shows both a Tundra movie and the Planetarium
Since my tween daughter is a big-time penguin nerd, we made the pilgrimage to the IMAX Theatre to view a sh during a recent trip to Milwaukee. Who among us can resist the lure of ginormous penguins projected onto a six-story, wraparound screen? owI strongly recommend this IMAX dome for scenic documentaries as it offers patron a breathtaking experience. The theatre is clean and well maintained. It is a steep climb up the stairs to your seats, but precipitous incline means no staring at the back of the head of the person in front of you. The seats are spacious and there is legroom a plenty. There are a bunch of previews of upcoming documentaries before the main feature - thankfully these previews are far less obnoxious those that blast your senses at your suburban multiplex.Parking near the museum is always a challenge, so factor that in when planning your trip to this location.Pro-tip: Purchasing movie tickets at this IMAX scores you a discount on your admission to the adjoining Milwaukee Public Museum.
Very cool. Worth taking a look at
We always enjoy adding a movie to our museum visit. The screen is huge and immersive!
If you get motion sick easily, I wouldnt recommend... otherwise it was fun
Always fun to take in an imax! Really enjoy the Wisconsin night sky portion before the show.
This place is awesome. Why does Google insist that it is permanently closed? That is absolutely UNTRUE.
A six story screen and a sound system that could be used for a rock concert...what more could you ask for? The Imax is attached to the Milwaukee Public Museum and usually offers education films. However, occasionally it offers mainstream films. There is no substitute for the Imax experience.
Love the large 3D movie experience.
Not the biggest IMAX around, but it gets the job done. I love MPM.
A great value with a museum membership
Always a great show!!
Always a great show and kids enjoy how large the screen is.
