Inexpensive, good chairs, good service not as updated as the other Marcus theaters but definitely worth the experience. It is an old fashioned movie place and the quality of screenings is up to par with most theaters. I would recommend going one night with friends. Sometimes there can be a lot of teenagers but for the most part it’s relaxed and has a great atmosphere!

Okay personally I would recommend AMC MAYFAIR over this place and here is why:1. It was $27 for 2 people vs $20 for 2 people2. They only offer student discount on Thursday vs they offer it every day.3. They only have basic popcorn, pretzel and nachos vs AMC has burgers, chicken tenders,fries, mozzarella sticks, pizzas, pretzels, nachos, caramel &cheese popcorn, and so much more.4. There is only 1 bathroom (that I saw) and from the picture it is nice but in real life it was very disregarded.... (unflushed toilets and paper towel everywhere) vs AMC has a bathroom in every hallway plus mall bathrooms5. The seats ARE recliner BUT they are very tight... I barely had room for my hips and I’m only 5’2 curvy. True, AMC does not have recliners but at least there is room in the seats. 6. The theatre temperature was so cold my hands were numb vs AMC can control each theaters temperature if needed.7. AMC HAS IMAX and 18 theatres and Southgate only had 4 larger theatres and 10 altogether.Bottom line: go to AMC if you have the option. The customer service there is always 10/10 too!

Good comfy reclining seats big screen, excellent sound system. I didnt know if I should have tuned my hearing aids up or down. Saw Star Wars. Loved it. Popcorn was too salty without adding any salt. Kind of minor. Nice rest room. Here it was new years day and the theater had about 12 people in the audience. Im glad that Marcus has continued to keep this theater complex open. Its been here since I was young. Its still here, just 4 miles from my house, in three city, with multiple screens and first run films. Good stuff.

It was a pretty good theater. Im from the San Francisco Bay area and every movie theater has the reclining leather seats. This theater only has one theater with reclining leather seats all the rest are old school seats. The sound system was awesome I saw the movie Midway. The sound system was awesome and the screen was great as well. Unfortunately the seating brings it down a few notches. Other than that its a pretty good theater

Ove always go here, I like it but I dont like that they took out the photobooth, if it wasnt for that I would of giving 4 stars, If your having a bad day or just wanna look at cute pictures here are some cute photos of cats.

My daughter won a bit ticket get one ticket free from school for dramatically improving her test scores. I read it over throughly before going and when we got there we were told that it can not be used on Tuesdays due to already discounted prices. It said nothing on her coupon about this exclusion. Boo for ruining a hard working ten year olds reward for improving her scores.

Advertises that there are dream loungers. NOPE, just regular chairs that recline a bit. Got hit in the knees all movie by the person ahead of me. If you’re thinking of the spacious leather chairs at other Marcus theaters, DIS AINT IT BABY.

We have been here twice and bought DreamLounger tickets both times. But the seats were regular both times. Don’t make our mistake!!

Thanks to United Healthcare my family had a great time here today. Also the concession stand was a bit slow and I thought wed be late but the manager was a superhero and he saved the day. We got everything we needed and got into our seats just in time

Standard movie theatre. You can skip the lines and use the automated ticket booths as long as you are just paying with a regular credit card. Tuesdays is definitely the day to go and it can get busy because of the ticket deals.

Sat in the huge recliners and watched Star Wars. Comfy seats and I loved being able to pick out and reserve my seats ahead of time. Pre-purchasing saved time at the window. Theater was clean, staff friendly.

Clean and always plenty of parking. Concessions are quick and easy to access. Bathrooms in nice condition.

Nice place! Affordable movies

Place was fine but everyone talks during movies, no matter what time I go there’s always immature people who take pictures, are on Facebook, watching videos talking or even laughing at parts that aren’t even funny . I don’t understand how you can pay 14$ for a movie but still be on your phone for half the time . The atmosphere is annoying, and sometimes, not all the time certain staff members are rude and unprofessional. I just won’t go here and will go over to south shore from now on.

Smaller Marcus theater. Convenient location but far from as nice as other locations.

On Tuesdays its $5 to see a movies. You also get a free small popcorn with their reward card. They also have other deals too on Tuesday. It do get crowded. So be prepared. But other then that...its a pretty good place.

Looked on line for Saturday movie time no posts for. Saturday this is Frida night. .... I am to drive there and see the times. No!! I will look up other theater and meet my friends there we can make plans night.

The cinema itself was very nice. It was small, but the place was very clean. You could see and hear the movie great. The people working there are decent and there is only 1 kiosk to print tickets and it is a little confusing and hard to use. Overall, Southgate Cinema is very nice.

Great place to see a movie. The service is better than it has been in the past and they have updated their amenities so it looks nice and new. Super Screen has the nice recliners.

It was a good experience ticket prices for a non discount day was not to bad. The seating had leg room and enjoyable seating. The food is overpriced but you should expect that from a movie theater.

They need to clean the screening. Rooms better slippery floors. Sat in the cloth seats and was itchy felt like things were crawling on you. Brought it to someone that works there attention and I dont know if they told manager or not......

Went to see Dark Phoenix and what I seen was disgusting. I went paid almost $15 a ticket, and my experience was puke worthy. I went to the bathroom that looked like it has never been cleaned poop stains toilets and seats and the urine in the urinal made me gag.When you walked into theater 1 to see the movie I was tripping over leftover trash even on the stairs like noone cleaned them.As for the food I had the pretzel and cheese with a slushy. The slushy tasted like the machine has never been cleaned and the pretzels were still frozen and wet from a kid spraying them with water. You do get a good amount but who wants frozen soaked pretzels and a drink for $13.25. As for the seats again nasty. Leftover trash from people that were there before.This place hired kids to do a adults job and the kids are running around like kids and not employees you can tell by how nasty the place is in every room.

They seriously improved since upgrading the building. Starting with the seating. Much better than that tight seating for before, some armrest can pull out so you can be comfortable when with another person. The place looks way better from when I was growing up. They also have automatic recliner seats that are pretty comfortable. Great place the go see a movie. Id say its really worth the price of admission. Enjoy.

The tickets online said that there would be dreamlounge seating like the other marcus theater but when we go there the seats were just like any other theater and they smelled like cheese.. also the screen was all messed up with like a tear in it

I use to love going to this theater but its just gone down hill. I cant watch a movie without obnoxious behavior from other movie goers. When I complained nothing was done. A couple months ago I was with 2 other people and we were nearly kicked out rudely by a teenage employee because we slightly snickered at a funny part of our movie. Makes no sense. I dont go to this theater anymore. I much rather go out of my way to the oak creek location.

Well it was okay but i went to report about the talkative people during the movie the theater did nothing about it so i would say please next could you guys do something about the people talking loud im okay with whispers but not people hollering like monkeys in zoo so over all my money was wasted for a movie i couldnt even hear but overall this place is okay

Surprisingly nice theater! Everything was neat and clean, snack counter was quick. Definitely recommend getting the recliner seats, they are worth it!

Nice staff. Very dirty theater. Popcorn and chocolate on my seat. Talkative customers during movie. The theater seems a bit outdated. There is only one kiosk to print your tickets on. They still have the oldschool ticket stand. Will not be back to this location.

Compared to other Marcus locations, this one is a bit of a dump. Constant issues with both sound and picture and only a couple of the auditoriums have recliner seating. There is no restaurants/bars inside so no pizza, wine or beer to speak of. Other Marcus Cinemas have nice bars and tables to grab a bite or a drink with friends before or after a flick. This particular location also draws a pretty low class crowd (apologies for sounding snobby). The crowds tend to be very rude and disrespectful during the movies. Always lots of talking and people playing on their phones. It is very disruptive and ruins the experience.

The theater was clean, the staff is always very nice, & the chairs are always comfortable. On this day our theater was very hot. There were only 2 other people in the theater w/us because we went very early in the morning & they were hot also. I just went to the concession stand & informed the woman about how hot it was...she was SO nice about it & with 10 minutes the temperature of the theater was back to normal

Too bad so many people are not experiencing the huge screen and lounge chairs comfort not to mention fresh popcorn as you like it with refill options!!!! Plenty of choices of movies to pick from!

It’s sad because this place is so nice inside. The service was relatively good and the halls were clean and well kept. Though there were 2 cops stationed make me uneasy. Not about the cops but about the customers of the establishment. They were extremely rude as they let their kids run free and disturb the movie.

Mostly Nice kids working there.ISABELLA (Yeah said lines Dead Pool) is a great help, very kind and professional.Seats need updating. If the seats are updated it wouldve been 5 stars. We pay the same price as theaters with the good seats, but they only have 1 theater with the good seats.

Its not the most modern theater, but it is clean. Sound and picture quality were fine, and they have the nice plush seats like most of the newer Marcus Theaters. Employee-wise, it was basically a ghost town. Id imagine its the easiest theater to hop from movie to movie, because in lieu of a ticket-checker they just had a sign that said keep your ticket.The reason its a 3-star review for me is kind of beyond the control of the theater itself. This is a great place to see a movie if you want to hear all about the people around you. How their week is going, comments about the movie, whats the deal are their friends going to hook up or not, that stuff. People were even taking phone calls in the middle of the showing.Its not just kids, either (Those dang kids! the old man yelled, shaking his fist at a cloud), but full grown adults who just dont care.If those things dont bother you, or you consider it part of the experience, then, cool, youve found your theater. If not, its not a very long drive to another cinema somewhere in the city.

Maybe picked wrong side of town where parents dont teach their kids manors seat kicking ALL movie talking about scoring some cash for sugar highs. I have a kid keep this in mind my tolerance is very high. Staff is great tho

Movie was good.. Got a little worried about the teens that showed up.. They were very polite and good socially too.. They do have an officer on duty if you need anything. I wish they had the lounged chairs here in all the theaters! The service was good.. Even an usher named Eric was very polite when he took the tickets.

Nice theater, much better after the renovation. Fairly clean. Need more staff or faster staff at the concession stand but other than that everything is fine. Not my go to theater but its almost always empty and quiet which is great.

Excellent Place to come & See a movie. They have a full bar for all your drinking enjoyment you can take your drink to go into the theater. They have a pizzeria inside that you can take your pizza into the theater. All theaters are 100% loungers except for the handicapped seating. Super Screen experience with 3D is amazing. $5 Tuesdays are the best deal in town.

A fine theater, but I wish they would get their showtimes listed on Google like every other theater in southeastern Wisconsin.

The seats are not comfortable like the one in Menomonee falls and it doesnt have the check in station for the tickets you ordered ahead of time.

Its a nice theater in a good neighborhood. I like some of the other Marcus theaters better, but the staff are friendly and the lines are generally short.

For a $5 movie night.... guess its okay. Staff means well, but the customers are loud, obnoxious and disgusting. Better off with Redbox or Netflix. And you dont have to share a bathroom with people who piss on the toilet seat and dont wash their hands. Eewwwwwwww!!!!!!!
