Hidden Lake Park

Typically The best in the mornings and evening. Best view is from the far -side of the lake/ from on top of the trail adjacent to the far side of the lake.+ Lots and lots of birds. And its a joy to watch birds come from far away and land in the lake in the evening.

Park is nice small. The pond is a circle so you can walk around it. There is a lot of ducks, birds and turtles here. Kids saw some of the gecko on the walls they try to catch it but they ran away... spot a lot of turtles in the pond. There are some shades trees and benches to sit here.

Simple and refreshing place it can stay breezy even on hot days which makes the small trail walk enjoyable different birds, turtles present to view which is a nice small getaway from City Life inside the city itself. nice neighborhood as well

Like this small park. Compare with regular concept of park with includes grasses, trees. Here, you have water. About 90% of the part is water, lake. With a hiking trail surrounded. Really good place to walk. A good place to visit.

Nice quiet lake in Milpitas. My one major complaint is that people let their dogs use the park as their personal toilet and dont bother picking up their pets waste. That being said, its a nice place to stroll around with geese, etc.

Its a peaceful place with lots of visitor parking for guests but only the residents of the Hidden lake village are allowed to go in, outsiders can only admire it from outside....

Good time to spend for a while

A hidden gem to relax after a days work. Can easily spend an hour or so walking around bird-watching and enjoying the walk around the lake.Would highly recommend if you want to destress for a while..

Rolled up on this fr fr hidden spot late night. Peaceful, calming, really a spot that, given a good quiet time of day, your issues and tissues will miss you. And if you and ya chick got more beef than USDA, you can forget about it. Maybe.....

Its a nice place for a walk or jog. You may miss the parking sign as the navigation takes you into the nearby community. But its easy to identify once you are near.

Nice place for a walk/jog

A very appropriate name for this neighborhood lake, tucked in between two developments. The lake is close to 1/3 of a mile around, and is low-trafficked. Theres two barbeque pits as well as a fishing pier. And if your like wildlife, theres plenty of pigeons, ducks (many kinds), birds and even turtles!

Smaller than it looks, mostly residents of the area, outsiders get stares

Nice place to take a break!

Lovely if you like watching birds: ducks versus doves vs canadian geese versus micro turtles vs seagulls. all precuous in their own way, acknowledging each other, sometimes working for territory but basically all being part of a family.

Its a small park with some birds. Lake has plenty of turtle and koi fish. There are lots of small flies in the shaded areas.Trail is clean.

Very clean, very beautiful park. Hard to find and limited parking. 2 areas with park benches, one is tucked in the corner but the other is closer to the path and sometimes walking groups stroll through your area.

The lake has a nice path around the perimeter to walk/run. And there are a couple of benches and tables to sit & relax.The sunset during the summer time is picturesque, especially with the reflections.We visit this lake very often because we reside in the community that has a gated access to the lake. I mostly taking my 5 year old on the bike. At times, my kid likes feeding the birds - mostly ducks & pigeons that are in the lake all round the year.Cons:No rest rooms.No play structures. Not sure why its called a ‘park’.Limited parking space for public, but there is a plenty of roadside parking.

Literally a hidden lake in Milpitas area. I stay in San Jose an I had no idea there was a lake near by.Its a pretty decent sized lake which is kept clean and is well maintained. A good place for a walk along side the pathway surrounding the lake. Lots of birds makes it a good spot for photography enthusiasts.

This is a small water reservoir to recycle waste water - though I did not get any smell. Good for evening leisurely walks and bird watching. There are places to sit and relax. This places isnt that big but pretty quite if you want to run away from busy life for a few hours.

A nice hidden lake in the middle of the city. The water is reclaimed run off, but it helps create an active (if small) ecosystem.Ducks, geese, pigeons and a lot of turtles.There a few intentional benches with views and a peir that extends into the water.More of a contemplation or relaxing kind of park rather than picnics or playgrounds.

Its a hidden gem of a park perfect for a little meditation and relaxation. Its never crowded and is just lovely.

Its a plain lake with a circular path. Nothing crazy. Very plain and simple.

Nice walking track inside, as well as a walking path along the park. Fountains. The water is all reclaimed, so can be a little odorous sometimes. There are usually ducks and geese here as well.

I have been there twice, and love it. I was there to photograph, and got some amazing shots.The second time that I went I took a friend, it is in a nice setting with a beautiful large pond with ducks, and some other birds. It also have water fountains in the lake. You can also view those large hills in Milpitas.There are places to sit, however there are no restrooms.

It is a nice quiet place to sit. There are parking places for guests so that makes it easier than some places.

My son and I we love coming to this park is quiet, peaceful, plus he loves to watch the Ducks swimming around.
