+Clean, calm, quite place for worhsip+ well maintained and well decorated+ lots of parking ( though on Sunday evenings it could be difficult to find parking after 6 PM )

Quite and peaceful place. Their is a gift and snacks shop inside temple very neat and clean. All the snacks and sweet was very good in taste.They also have indian folk tales story books for kids.

BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir(Temple) is a place to worship Deities for all Hindus in bay area. The management of a temple is comparable to any corporates. Even if there are 1000 or more devotees on a festival day or on Sunday or at Deewali time, you will be amazed by the way they manage.There are many programmes for youngsters realated to the religion as well as professional career. Peaceful temple with beautiful murtis. Delicious Mahaprasad! Helping people.I went there first time during Diwali Dhan Teras, and got to participate in the Pooja, with 200+ people. It was an awesome experience. Everything was very well organized.

Beautiful Hindu Mandir. The moment you walk in you feel a sense of peacefulness and tranquility. Having a bad day? Just go inside and stand/sit near the marble idols (Murtis) and it will feel like everything is better and you are free of miseries. Open to the public during their visiting hours. Truly a holy place in San Jose to visit.

This is an excellent Hindu mandir. It is a great place to visit around Hindu festivals, especially Diwali, when they have several exhibits and videos about Hinduism and a festive atmosphere with good food for purchase and childrens fun activities. They have regular programs for children, young professionals, older men & older women. Many times in the year, the santos (saints - those who have taken vows to be in the BAPS order) visit. The murtis (icons) inside the mandir represent various divinities holy to Hindus. They have people who can explain Hinduism to you. They also have a store to purchase material about Hinduism, to practice Hinduism, & vegetarian food items & general groceries. This temple is part of the BAPS Hindu sampradaya (sect). There is a small store inside here for snacks, groceries & Hindu religious items.

This is a place of worship for hindus. Its related to Gurus and Hindu gods. Very cleanly maintained. Very spiritual. There is an indian snack shop inside to buy . There is a vegetarian restaurant to eat too. There is a shop for the spiritual related items, books, pooja mandir.

This temple is like my second home. I would say My Temple My Home! Every Sunday I go there and take part in different activities that happens through out the day. It makes you feel proud to be an Indian.

I was went first time in 2011 in Diwali festival. Its huge prasad CHHAPAN BHOG its very very beautiful manage. I saw first like this. and after pooja they arrange cafeteria for fast food. it is very delicious dishes typical gujrati snack. I did lots of enjoy.

You feel like you are in india. If you want to show your indian culture to US community friends, bring them to mandir or temple. They feel spiritual energy, peacefulness and positive vibes. BAPS actively conducting various social events too. I strongly recommend to visit temple during aarti hours in the evenings, special themed events on every Sunday.
