Nice trails easy to follow. I believe most trails bout 2 miles long. You can fish at some of the ponds. Trails are pretty wide to follow and do have signs on what direction to go. You can also pick up a nap to follow. It does cost money to get in, very affordable.

Went here with my 4, 8, 11 year old sons. They had a great time, lot of reasonable trails, and a cool little animal exhibit. It was veterans day and my whole family got in free! Thank you!Normally 5 bucks a head.

Alabama Nature Plex. Beautiful. All paths well tended. Only suggestion--signage that indicates how to get back to Nature Plex visitor center. Trails and features well marked otherwise, but after an hour and a half of wandering happily through the woods, I couldnt find anything that directed me back. Luckily, as the rain began to fall, I happened upon a wildlife biologist in a golf cart.

This place was absolutely amazing! The staff are sweet and animated. They were a huge help to me, there with 5 kids. The kids had so much fun in each station! The discover center was fun, they went out and practised fishing and exploring the water. They were able to learn and touch frog, turtles, snakes and more. Then had a fun hike back. I just cant give this place enough praise for what a wonderful fun day we had!

Went on a field trip here for the second time. To be honest it was a little bit over the top and way too many nature walks just learning about trees but the people were great that worked there.

We love coming here. The animal exhibits are great, as are the nature trails. There is a great monthly Early Explorers program for the littles. They also have many other programs and classes that weve taken advantage of. I highly recommend the NaturePlex.
