The park was clean and really nice. Each picnic area has privacy which is also nice. I had the best time with family. We were all cautious and careful with masks. We definitely had a nice time.

A good 3 mile loop with changing scenery. The only downside is you can always hear the cars driving by at certain spots on the trail. Paved paths. No changing slopes. Plenty of parking.

I love it my entire family enjoyed to upmost being there great place for celebrating almost any occasion Ive been there before in 1993 I believe it was named the Forrest preserve at the time Id recommend it for the peaceful and privacy ☆☆☆☆☆

Excellent paved trails and vegetation. Its typically clean and well maintained with plenty of grassy areas with shade coverage to enjoy some down time with the family. One of my favorite forest preserves thusfar.

It was well groomed well as secured for people to come together and have a good time. They made sure that all the port-a-potties were working properly. It a very quiet place!

A great trail to walk but they could have left more portapotties. Just one in the south lot. Too far if you are on the north part of the trail.

Rode my ebike with my twin broski and it was da bomb!!!

Super quiet. Family barbecue with bean bags competition and ice cream truck as gran finale.

Had a company outing here recently. Nice, clean, open space to enjoy.

Its ok saw 4 deer and 2 fawns parking goodrails are good. I suggest going as a group. Have fun bring sin screen and mosquito spray and your binoculars.

Wonderful travel location. Watch out for bigger creatures in the morning.

Its a nice place when its not packed. Plenty of parking and a nice bike path to take a bike ride or walk around the whole place. Total distance for the track is 2.7miles. Plenty of wildlife if youre a photographer and plenty of scenery as well.

This is a nice place to enjoy the outdoors in all seasons. There is a 3 mile loop that is a joy to bike or hike. You will see much flora and fauna, including hawks, deer, and even a coyote or two. I have always felt safe walking here, in early morning and late in the evening. Feel free to walk your dog but please pick up after it.

The Meadows is well kept, a great place for the family and friends to experience outside for informal gatherings...

Its a great place to exercise. Has a bike/Jogging walk way, pleasant preservation area. There are elevation changes, but not excessive. Not a lot of benches to rest, so one must pay attention to thier own body and fitness level....great to get in shape...slim down the belly or even prepare for a race depending on the pace set for oneself.

We enjoyed ourselves. Just chilled and had a small intimate picnic. We ate nice and healthy and enjoyed the wilderness! No rangers bothering us lol.

Not the best forest preserve around, but it is close and relatively quiet. The trail is 2.7 miles long and paved. There are two decent inclines/declines that are great for bike riding, but nothing too difficult.

I love this place. If you are looking for a nature experience this is it. Its a huge place great for biking walking or running. They have little camp houses where you can eat. Its a nice place. Rental for the camp houses are cheap and great for partys or family get togethers. Nice walking trails with lots of trees. Really recommend going in the fall it is beautiful.

Best place for family reunion

The only thing is you have to keep an eye on your car b/c homeless people and randoms try to rob you if you walk away from it. So many people just lurking about.

I like this walking path they have picnic tables here its good for outdoor parties in the summertime and some of the times when you walking the forest Patrol police is out there driving along the path

If you like the woods,this is a cool place to hangout, party,birth days ect. Make sure to check & see if u need a permanent for a big party. Theres a fireplace, wood burning grills. Not far from the city. Go & enjoy. ;-)
