The fields are kinda unlevel so your soccer kiddos need to be careful. And if you have soccer practice expect only have half the field for practice cause they expect 2 soccer teams to practice at the same time. No benches so bring your chairs. BUT the skate park seems to be kinda cool and very popular there are always people/kids there throughout the day til late at night. I like that it Gives the kids somewhere to hang out with friends since there isnt any kind of kid/teen focused entertainment around here. Growing up in Lewisville we had a Saturday nite out every Saturday at the civic center, it was so nice that we had a cool place to go and hang out with our friends for 4 hours, never were bored, there were games music sports etc. I wish Midlothian would offer something like that.

Good park. Mostly just soccer fields but there is a playground and acess to a trail in the trees. Im not sure that the trail is officially part of the park but you can get to it from by the playground and its a nice place to walk when its mowed.

Nice clean park with plenty of space and parking and a giant jungle gym for the little ones also know some guys that play flag football there on sundays 10am to 12pm...

4/10 skatepark.Most cities are dropping around the 1,000,000 mark for parks and somehow this was planned for 100k and came out at 79k. Midlo cheaped out on this project and it shows. Ex. All prefabricated obstacles, quarter pipe has no deck, flow of park causes collisions, mud pit in the middle where there could have been flat or a mini/bowl, out of proportion rails, grading of park near pyramid, NO SHADE AT ALL(shade was in plans when I looked up the 3D model).. the list goes on.On the good side, the cement(not counting prefab stuff) is smooth and very high quality, there is sufficient lighting for night time sessions, and there’s a relatively large variety of stuff to skate.You WILL see the skatepark at times overrun by scooters and mountain bikes which are not allowed per the rules. Don’t expect the parents to tell their kids to watch out as they are usually in their vehicle.

The fields really need to be graded correctly. Most of them lean to the left or right making it almost a joke when playing soccer games. Be very careful walking you will break your ankle in a pot holes all over the fields. The facilities are okay. There is not enough parking for game days or practice. The exit and entrance is dangerous and the should add a new one leaving Midlo parkway instead of 1387 right by a light with alot of traffic. There really is not a lot to like. The two best things are the two parks. The skateboard park is really cool.

Great for outdoor kids event

Terrible traffic problems, poor layout of parking. Soccer fields are not maintained at all during season, bare dirt spots everywhere. Soccer fields are not level, you may find yourself playing uphill, downhill or sideways. The only positive is the kids having a place to get some exercise in - otherwise, this wouldn’t pass for a cattle pasture.
