In just a few hours, Phillip fixed the music box on my vintage Italian jewelry box. He carefully explained why it stopped working and how I can prevent future problems. In addition, I enjoyed spending time in the gallery full of interesting and beautiful pianos, clocks, and art.

We just had our new to us Yamaha piano delivered by Phil and Stephen. Great work and delivery. We appreciate your efforts in getting this to us on Kathys birthday. Would recommend these gentlemen and their store to anyone in the Greater Midland/Odessa Area. As you can see by the photo, even our cat Charlie likes it.

Steven and Philip are great!Highlights from text below:- Very professional and personable- Seamless finance and rental process- Easy to understand rental contract- Piano delivery made quick and easy- Wide range of pianos to choose fromI am still fairly new to the Midland area and found Piano Works while searching for music stores in the area. I am a clarinetist and pianist. I first went into Piano Works around when they were first opening up shop on Midkiff and Andrews Highway. They still didnt quite have a full inventory at the time. I was first greeted by Steven who warmly welcomed me into the gallery and gave me the some background on the business as well as the pianos they did have in stock. I returned a few times over the course of a year to check out their inventory with the hopes of finding a piano I could potentially buy.Recently, I decided to try and buy a piano, but unfortunately wasnt able to get approved through the third-party financing company. However, Steven and Philip tried to work with me to get me a piano. For the time being, I decided to rent a piano from them until I can get my finances in order to purchase the piano I want. Their rental process and contract is very straight forward and easy to understand.Come delivery day, Steven and Philip arrived in a very pleasant mood. We ran into a little issue at the beginning due to how small and compact the entry way to my apartment is. After some careful evaluation and some teamwork, Steven and Philip were able to get passed this obstacle and get the piano placed where I wanted it within my livingroom. The delivery process was fairly quick, especially considering the small snag we faced in the beginning. The piano was tuned and ready to go! Going from playing on a Yamaha electric keyboard to the Yamaha U1 upright piano I am renting has made a huge difference on my playing. The sound quality of their instrument is night and day compared to my keyboard. I made the best decision with deciding to rent this piano from them. With their continued professionalism, knowledge, and willingness to help, I will definitely be doing more business with them in the future.

The piano works professionals did an outstanding job moving and setting up our Steinway. They went over and beyond the knowledge and professionalism showed by the original Steinway installers. Piano Works followed up on their work to insure that the piano and QRS system were functioning at top levels. We were extremely satisfied with their service, knowledge and pleasant manner. Highly recommend their services.

I love this place. Philip did an excellent job rebuilding my grandfather clock.. I have never been able to get it to keep perfect time. He came to the house and told me all the things that needed done witch was quite a bit since I’ve not had it serviced in 30 years. Long story short, I now pretty much have a new clock that has been keeping perfect time.Thank you Phillip for cleaning and fixing my clock. I highly recommend these guys and this gallery for any and all your clocks or pianos. Polite friendly and they know what the heck they are doing.Thank you Phillip

Just had the worst experience with this company. We scheduled a baby grand piano to be moved a few streets over from our home to a church. The first appointment was missed due to them blowing a tire on their trailer, which is understandable. They said they would have to come that following Monday, when we called to check on what time they would be here, they said we never called to confirm the date even though they gave us the date, and never said we had to confirm. They finally show up the following week, and that’s where it really went downhill. Only two smaller guys, one was very friendly and one immediately started throwing, “holier than thou” attitude. He was upset that we had stairs in the same room as the piano. The piano would not be going up the stairs but out a door in the garage which was all one level, however the stairs presented an issue with the angle the piano would have to go out, again, understandable. Next option was to go out double french doors, a short distance across our patio in the back, and through our garage with the back door. He said the slight slope on the patio would be an issue where they had to turn the piano. If they had brought more then two small men I don’t think this would of been an issue, and ultimately wasn’t an issue when we moved it ourselves. Anyway, by this point the one guy was irate, mumbling under his breath how we told him we didn’t have stairs, how we had added onto the house with the piano in here (false, anyone can look at this house and see it hasn’t been added on) red faced and obviously angry. I suggested to him, that I thought he needed to be more clear on the stairs, because we were asked if there were stairs, and we replied that there were no stairs the piano had to go up or down, that it could be rolled or carried on its side of course, straight out into the garage and be loaded there. I suggested that he ask for pictures of the room where the piano is and the optional doors where the piano could go out before taking on a job. This sent him over the edge where he let me know he’s been doing this for years, to not tell him how to run his business. I told him that if he had done what I suggested that he wouldn’t have wasted 2 weeks of my time and his time driving over here. I told him he wasn’t handling this situation well and he said that I started it.. lol. It was truly like dealing with a man child. It would have been fine if he would have just apologized and said it was a job he couldn’t do. Instead, he was very angry and treated us terrible for his lack of planning, letting us know we would be getting an invoice. If you’ve moved tons of pianos you would think you would be better at your job. I believe we were dealing with the owners and the other owner was trying his best to cover for his partners rudeness, I felt bad for him. I would highly recommend finding another company to move your piano, just based off how incredibly unprofessional and unorganized they are I would be worried they could do the job without damaging your property. They were truly undermanned to move our baby grand.

I recently met Steven and Philip, they were great to work with, they helped me find a piano there that is just what I wanted. They have some GORGEOUS pianos there (steinway, Yamaha, and Seiler included). I am actually a piano teacher, new to Midland and he has really filled me in on the musical community here. I would definitely recommend that anyone involved in music at all should check out this beautiful gallery and introduce yourself.

Phillip and Steven recently moved two Grandfather clocks of ours and moved them back after flooring installation. They are very professional and courteous and particular attention to getting the clocks leveled and operating optimally. I do believe anyone using their services will be well pleased.

I LOVE PIANOWORKS!!!! I am a passionate piano player but had never felt comfortable enough to invest so much money into my hobby (beyond a keyboard) until shopping at PianoWorks. The owners, Steven and Phil, were clearly more interesting in getting me the right instrument rather than making commission off of me. I have NEVER seen a business truly care so much about their customers. Both Steven and Phil were incredibly knowledgable about their products and eventually, I wound up purchasing a piano that I now cannot see myself ever being without. My Seiler piano has not just allowed me to play music, but has allowed me to feel comfortable enough experimenting in piano playing that I had always been too apprehensive to try. If you are looking for a new piano, it would be incredibly short-sided of you to look anywhere other than here. IF I COULD GIVE PIANOWORKS 6 STARS I WOULD!!! The bubbly was a nice touch too ;)
