Awesomeness...well spaced and open areas...good for your group...good staff/service...fun exercise in Trying to throw an axe!!

My mom and I had a blast at Stumpys! We are doing a week long birthday celebration for my mom and we had to start it with Stumpys. Jamie was are coach and she was AMAZING! She takes the time to show you how to properly throw, gives pointers and encourages you! Jamie really made my mom feel special with the Happy Birthday Bulleyes board! We will definitely be back!

Really great place to go with friends.. We had a bachelor party here.. first time throwing axes but Im pretty sure were going to come back we all had a great time staff was very friendly very helpful..

Went here to celebrate a friends birthday and had an amazing time. The staff were in great spirits and really hospitable. Our coach Jamie was awesome and enthusiastic about teaching us how to throw a hatchet for the first time. She cheered for us whenever we made a good throw and never ceased to help inprove our game. Overall a great experience and a fun time. Loved it. Thanks Jamie!*also worth noting how clean the place was and on par with covid-19 awareness.* thumbs up!

Had so much fun! Went for my boyfriends pre bday fun but weve been to another location similar to this one. Love the whole set up of the place and the snacks you get in your suite. I like also that they have beverages (alcoholic and non alcoholic). Loved our trainer jamie!! Very helpful and made the competition between us fun. Definitely will be back

So heard about you guys through Facebook. The day I went was on March 1st which was my wifes birthday and come to find out it was their Grand opening got greeted at the door by one of the owners. I made a reservation and once I seen my wifes eyes light up because she clearly stated yes she didnt want nothing fancy for her birthday!!! Once I got there I told them instead of one hour I wanted to pay for 2 hours the deposit was $25 for reservation of 4 people which I highly recommend you do before you get there. Everybody very informal about what to do & always making sure everything is going okay. Plenty of stuff to drink regular drinks and alcohol but no food you can order pizza and stuff like that and have it delivered there. My wife and her friend had a blast I had a hell of a workout... We will be back!!!

What an AXE-Cellent Experience :) Absolutely Amazing place!!! I read some of the other reviews and pretty much mirror how great the staff and owners are there :) The music, the atmosphere and of course axe throwing was so fun! The staff was always there when need be but let us do our own thing as well so we could enjoy the entire experience as a family! If you have not been here then I highly recommend you GO THIS WEEKEND!! I’ve been to several axe throwing places and this is by far the absolute best one! Great for a date night, a party, work function, friends night out, girls night out etc.... make it happen people!

Awesome staff & experience! We had our company party here and Julian and Exan were amazing. Very hospitable and offered great service. The place is beautiful, lots of great spaces to gather with friends if you arent throwing axes. Was such a great experience for our group, highly recommend for a fun night out - thanks again guys! :)

This place is insanely fun for groups of two to ten-ish people. The prices are really great for the amount of entertainment you get out of drinking while throwing axes with friends. It was a great time for a birthday party, too.The coaches are really cool, special shout out to Julian for helping us learn how to throw the right way!

A fantastic, fun filled night out! The establishment is super lux with comfy chairs, plenty of table seating and room for groups. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and eager to assist you increase your skills. Visit and you will be guaranteed a good time.

The setup is great. Plenty of room for groups of friends eager to have fun. BUT the lack of staff to entertain and organize fun and break up the monotony of just throwing the axe is quite irritating. Other axe throwing places do that and make the experience awesome. You want to come back. Stumpys has lots to improve upon

Cool date night spot. Will definitely come back with a group of friends. Seems like the perfect fall and winter hangout. Staff was very friendly and helpful for some newbies like us. I had no idea how to throw and I certainly need practice but they gave a great tutorial.

So much fun and very friendly staff! My group had a great time! My only complaint is that it was really hard to find the little road to get there at night in the rain. We drove passed it multiple times.

What a great way to spend time with your team

I applied for a coaching position here online (Facebook) and the establishment sent me available time slots for the interview. I responded and showed up on the specified date and time. No one was at the establishment and it was left completely unlocked and unattended to. I called the phone number and the Manager came in to meet me. He thanked me for coming in or he otherwise wouldn’t have known the place was left unlocked. The interview went very well and was given a tour. I never gave my email address or was asked to fill out an official application. I called back after a couple of weeks for an update and was told that someone else that was better qualified was chosen. (I am a Teacher) I was told I should have received an email from HR, again he didn’t have my email address or an application. I was disappointed about the way management seemed so disorganized from scheduling, the application process and securing the property properly and left confused about not hiring a trustworthy teacher to be a coach. I’m sure it’s a fun place to visit during open hours and hopefully it’s better managed during working hours.

I went here for my brothers birthday. Julian was the person who instructed us and he was super helpful, giving all of us tips and encouraging us the whole time. I loved the environment, it felt super homey and laid back. Definitly would come back.

This place is awesome! I loved the layout and vibe, and the “party” from 10pm-12am for only $20 a person was an awesome deal and great value. Not only that, but the staff was all very well trained, personable, and fun. To top it all off, my date and I arrived 20 mins before the party started at 10, however the owner still let us pay the party price and start throwing early. Definitely recommend!!!

Had an awesome time. The staff was great and the atmosphere was as well. They took the time to show us how to throw properly and gave us tips on how to throw better. Totally plan on going again soon.

Amazing experience, amazing staff & everybody always has fun!!!

I have been to several axe throwing locales. This location was very accommodating and the staff was super nice. My rating was based on two issues. 1- the wood was not as axe friendly as the places we have been in philly... Or perhaps the axes werent as sharp? 2- the coaches are not as involved as other locations. We enjoy having the coach be present for the duration of the event and organize the competition, keep score, etx. This place was great if you are looking for a self-run experience.

Great place to drink beers and have fun throwing hatchets with friends! Staff is super chill and extremely helpful in teaching first timers. No outside beverages are permitted, but have a decent selection on site and can have food delivered!

Im an employee here at Stumpys 301. It is one of the best places I have worked, and everyone that comes in has fun. Regardless of what your attitude coming in is, as soon as you bury that hatchet in some wood its an instant good time. Come have some fun!!!!
