We just stopped here on a whim after seeing the signs. So glad we did. It was a day that they were taking the B flyer out for rides. I decided to become a member and take a ride. What an awesome thrill.

More about the Wright Brothers and their fabulous flying machine here! Low key, a group of volunteers here with the look alike Wright B Flyer, and they are building a second one. Flights are available for a fee, we were not able to take a flight due to the air density and a cross wind that developed. We did get to take pictures sitting in the flyer though. Nice little gift shop too.

I was out this way with my daughter 2day because we had an appointment so I decided 2 take her here. There was a special group event here but a nice older man had let us look around and said we could take as many pictures as we wanted. We had saw an airplane that looked like the 1911 model, an old fashion car from that era, pictures of the airplanes and Orville and Wilbur Wright. They also have a Wright Shop. As we were going out the same friendly man told us about the Wright Brothers:)

I walked in with my 3 kids during the middle of the day on a weekday and the staff member there was so kind and helpful. We got a personal tour of the building and great information about the Wright Brothers and their aircraft. My kids even got to sit in the cockpit of the plane. I highly recommend visiting!

Some very smart, dedicated people work here to preserve the early flight history that was here. The plane flies. They are building a second replica. Well worth a visit.
