I think its safe to say this is the best park in Kendall.Overall cleanliness is very impressive.There is staff around the clock to enforce social distancing.It has a small water park for kids (Temporarily closed due to COVID)Skate parkWalking trackAnd lots of open space
The place is delightful. The staff is warm and inviting and the facilities are well-maintained. These parks are actually at Haven during this time of covid-19 and social distancing. Nice place to come with your family and friends! I brought my little cousins here on a several occasions and they really enjoyed it. You can do lots of fun activities. It has a skate park as well. Everything is well maintained and clean!

This is the best park I have went to. I love it. It is huge. The fields are well maintained. Clean. Has a little water park. Two huge playgrounds. A skating park. My kids love it here. Great atmosphere. Free Zumba classes every Monday and Wednesday.. 630 or 730...Friendly people. Kids all around. Soccer all around.
I love this park in every way...The manager is a proactive, kind and sweet person!!! I love the fact that there is NO sand in the playground for children...it has a grat area for them to play and run, it has a lovely splashpad which opens only during summer and children love it. It has got an skatepark with ramps for older children and adults...it has fields for soccer and a volleyball sand field...it has got shelters for birthday parties with BBQ grill and water available...however there some ducks around which its the only negative part of the shelters, as they poo everywhere.... you can run, jog or walk around the park and its beautiful....they have got grear activities for elderly as well...I highly recommend this park for everyone! Also, they have got the Colombian plaza which resembles the neighbourhood. The manager is a proactive, kind and sweet person!!!
I usually hate doing anything outdoors down here during the summer considering the sun and general lack of trees in a lot of places Ive personally wound up in, but this park is quite nice with most of its 3/4 mile walking path well-shaded by trees. It features a small community center, kids playground, sand volleyball court, soccer field, and small rentable pavilions with tables for events. There is even some exercise equipment in part of the park. I take walks here every so often to fulfill my vitamin D and exercise requirements for the day (and, ahem, spin the few pokestops and gym as I go along.)
Renting a Shelter is simple, no hassles and they are affordable.the park itself has a volley ball net, exercise stations, skating area, soccer fields and the 2 playgrounds. i love this park.
This park is a nice place to come with friends and family to chill out and have fun. I went for their skatepark. Its very clean and well maintained. Ramps, stairs, rails. All the basics for any skater. They have about three big soccer fields with good maintenance. A park for the kids and trail for your running needs. Very nice park!

Splash park NEVER opens. Ever since theyve built it not 1 time in years have Ive ever seen it being used. Waste of space, time and hope.

My daughter loves this park. Amazing areas and verybsafe place if you have kids. The water park is terrific. I would dare to say even better than the one in the Metro Zoo.
Westwind is a great family park. They have many things to do there. They have soccer fields and a volleyball court. They also have a skate park. Its a great park to have a birthday party. The park is huge so if you want to jog or exercise you wont need to jog a million laps for one mile. For one mile, you only need to run or jog approximately 1 lap.

This place has a skate park which is great but it literally doesnt even have a basketball court and for that reason Im giving this place a 2 star. Like what park doesnt have a basketball court? Furthermore, this place sucks!

Just walk into the rec room. It is decievingly huge. It is its own little world. The playground is great as well and is divided into 2 sections for smaller children. Waiting to check out the splash zone
May be the best recreational park in the west of Kendall.....very open, plenty of seats & shade for those hot beaming days...little skate park, jogging trail & soccer field for those that just want to kick the ball around & volleyball nets & sand pits....

Great place to stop after a busy day at work. Water fountain is charming though some folks decided to get into a public water display to enjoy themselves. Crowded as always, it is nice!! Suggest stop after dinner.
No sand in two large playground areas to start.It has many activities: skateboarding ramps, area to play soccer, baseball, a volleyball court, you can ride bikes along the paths, has a splash area for the little ones (only open in the summer though)Great good group of parents that visit often, great to chat.Its just great!!

This is a park we frecuently visit. And is one of the best in this area. Only a couple of things should be taken care off.First: restrooms are not well maintained or cleaned. And when one rents the party gazebo/hut (I mean you pay for them right?) least you expect is that your guests can use a nice cleaned restroom and find them open when needed. (Yes! They close them at 5:00 pm) even if the rental is until dawn and some people stay even later at skatepark and playing soccer. Maybe that is why you can see some extrange human figures standing near the trees for several minutes....mmmmmmm.Second:Park has lately a duck plague issue.I rented a shelter for a party last weekend and least I expected was getting to my clean shelter first thing in the morning (well, nope! At 10 am ducks stomacks left overs well all around, dried and newly dropped ones) worst thing came when all guests arrived: at least 12 ducks were getting between our guests and even attacked a few kids taking their pastries from their hands. They were always coming back.Things got better when a big male duck jumped to the table where the sandwiches and pastries were and started eating them on top of table. Female guests shrieking all over, bird stepped on several trays just ruining the food and having to toss all that was there.Park authorities should do something, this is not just a couple of ducks around.Not the kind of service you deserve when renting for party not a safari.There was always a park maintenance guy around before, driving around in a golf kart checking everything was alright. Well, that did not happened last weekend.Hope park administrators pass more time as users, that way they can improve and locate the deficiencies. This is a great park, dont let bad administration or lack of interest transforms it into a nobodys land.

Love this park. Great it is great for birthday parties they also have BBQs in each shelter. They have built in a water park and the bathrooms are nice and accessible I throw all my birthday parties at the park.
The electricity was disconnected at 5 pm and it was still sunny.In my opinion it was a disrespect.

My favorite park in West Kendall. The best part is that it doesnt have any sand. It has playgrounds for all ages and so many different types of activities. They even have a low monkey bar for little ones. Im in love with this park. They also have a skate park and a water park.

This place was okay...
Big fields and cozy yet large shelters. Somewhat difficult to get to if youre not familiar with the area but fun overall. A lot of room to play a pick up game of football or soccer, and host a party of about 30-40 people. Definitely would recommend if looking to host a party or play some pick up games.

A much improved park than it used to be - very large and spacious and clean. A nice enjoyable walking trail with exercise machines along the route circles a ton of other highlights, including a large playground, a waterpark for children, a skate park, volleyball court, and soccer fields. Perfect on a not-so-hot day and even evenings and nights.

Yes the park is excellent, very clean and it has a good variety of sport fields, but it has two soccer fields which ONLY CAN BE USED by Southern Soccer Coalition and Optimist Club of West Kendall because they pay for the fields, these are the words of the park representative. Why do I have to practice outside the fields when both fields are not even been used at the moment. Isnt it supposed to be a public park? NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE AT ALL.

Overalll great little park for kids and adults. Only bad part is the splash pad is pretty sad. Seems like either half the equipment doesn’t work or they have the water pressure turned down. Kids are practically laying on floor to get a water to splash them. Hopefully the county fixes this.

Great park! Spacious and has an awesome walking/running trail. The skate park is excellent and the new splash pad is really fun and unique. They even have beach volleyball! I rated 4 stars instead of 5 because of theft. It seems like someone is always getting their window smashed.
As of today, sign is up stating that splash pad is closed until summer of 2019. Really senseless and unfortunate as many people were coming to visit the splash pad today and temperatures will be hot enough for months for kids to enjoy this.
