Very beautiful park. In a very interesting location with a view. There are many interesting animals. There are many interesting installations. I advise you to come at sunset. It will also be very interesting for children to watch colorful birds. The only thing that is a little expensive. But I still advise you to visit this place.

An entertainment complex opened on Watson Island. The park became famous for its unforgettable show programs with various fauna inhabitants: exotic birds, lions and tigers. Walking through the territory, you can see a public beach and a conservation area with a beautiful lake. In addition to the representatives of the feline family, giant turtles, orangutans, crocodiles, penguins, snakes and lemurs live in Jungle Island.

Found this place thanks to Tripadvisor/Groupon. What a great little place with a good variety of wildlife. One of the few places where you can see a bald eagle up close and personal and a 2 toed sloth. Its a very intimate place and the staff is very caring. Definitely a good way to spend a couple of hours with the little ones.

One of the prettiest parks to visit especially during the spring season in May when all of the cherry blossoms are blooming. Its so beautiful to see and experience. You dont have seasons here like they do on the east coast which makes the visit so much more incredible. The park is wide and vast. There is a small train that will take you around the park. Perfect for the little ones. They also have a café and gift shop. So throw on some sneakers and enjoy the lay of the land. Its simply breathtaking.

It was AMAZING! I am skeptical about “zoos” but Jungle Island made it incredible for me.First of all, it doesn’t smell like every zoo. It’s BEAUTIFUL and best part of all, animals looks happy and healthy. Actually, during my stay there I saw macaws every time around the area (without cage, ‘free’), same for the ducks and flamingos. Good thing! Points por Jungle Island.I had the opportunity to go to two shows and I simply LOVED IT! I highly recommend “Wild Adventures Show” the one with the birds.Easy parking and flat rate: $10Place for snacks: Paul (the bakery franchise) and an ice cream spot.Souvenir store.Play kids area.***DO NOT MISS THE OPPORTUNITY TO TAKE A PICTURE WITH THE MACAWS AT YOUR ENTRANCE! At the end you can buy them (if you like it! And of course they do a great job, you will do it)

Of course, when you have kids you have tons of toys and you must store them within reach, so bring all your kids here for this place has a good idea of organizing their room as a playroom by placing some large rattan baskets under the bed, in some nice compartments. They also added a lot of colorful pillows for the kids’ safety and fun. They will have a great day here.

I loved it here! Went to this place in the Jungle Island of the night with my friend. Used the flashlight of our phones to help us get up the hill and inside the cages. It smells like piss inside the cages, but inside the cages is a lot of amazing graffiti. Would come again during the day to take pictures of he place. Wasnt able to get any good ones due to the dark.

Was here for the Chinese New Year lantern and lights festival. We saw a troop of acrobats from China performing at the sepentarium. The amount of work that went to transforming a typical zoo, to a night time light based wonderland cannot be understated. Fantastic place to visit with the whole family.

It was alright, nothing super exciting or significant. Definitely not worth the full price, even for kids. The only attractive features are the kangaroo walkabout, the petting area and the shows. We went and the kangaroo walkabout wasnt even open so we missed that part. Overall not bad but not great either.

I went for Luminosa at night and was impressed with all decorations. There are some romantic spots to listen to live music and have a drink. There was also an acrobatics show, very short but really cool. I think it’s about 1 and a half hours tour to see everything. If you take time to sit and enjoy the place, it might be longer.

I think this a great place to take kids. Did not partake in the theme park portion, more just the animal portion. It was still interesting as a few adults, as the vibrant amount of plants are very pretty and the amount of birds they have is quite grand. Did as part of the Miami go pass, which was definitely worth it. Saw a bird show, which was also great.

My son absolutely loves this place and we came here so often that it made sense to buy a membership pass! Now we can skip the (very) long lines. The only thing I would change is the food court staffing - it is continually understaffed for how many people and hangry kids are waiting for food.Otherwise excellent. Puppet shows, childrens theatre, magicians, rides, stories, animal farms, its great.

Extremely difficult to park ... Small place and offers few attractions ... Expensive for what it offers! And without good eating options... Most of water toys are not for toddlers, they are only for older children and there is no warning on the website or at the time of ticket purchase ... I had pity for the trapped animals, but the birds seemed well treated during the shows... And could see gorillas been trained, very smart, was fun...

Review №30

Honestly, this place is overrated. Im surprised people say the animals are happy because I felt the exact opposite when I visited last year. The animals looked miserable. A lot of their sanctuaries and cages were completely run down and not taken care of at all. I felt bad for them. Id definitely choose the Frost Museum or Miami Zoo over Jungle Island. I hope theyve made some renovations since Ive been there last. It was disappointing and the owners need to take better care of this place. Unless youre spending money back to back with one on one animal experiences, youre probably not getting your moneys worth.

The animals look and seem happy and healthy. The people who work with them are attentive and caring of them. There was a guy with a snake and when the cold rain water started, he was very quick to get the snake warm and dry. Im not a snake fan, but I am very proud to see how much care this snake was given. This was a special event day, so there was music and dancing and fun for many families. Im sure to return for more interesting interactions and sights.

Jungle Island is a beautiful place to experience once or twice in a lifetime by yourself or with your family. While a bit pricey for my taste as a local attraction, it is an ideal tourist location and it is priced as such. To put it in perspective, for a family of three I ended up spending $140 dollars on the entrance alone. That being said, once inside you can expect to encounter anything from entertaining exotic animal shows, to kangaroo petting experiences, a beach (open during the summer months) and various food options. In addition to that, the animals all seem to be in excellent health, the park is clean and litter free, the bathrooms offer changing tables, and it’s an overall good experience.

Went for Luminosa Festival of Lights. Beautiful lights but expensive entrance fee. You can spend as little or as much time as you want there, I was travelling solo so it didnt take much time to walk through which made the entrance fee more of a sting for me. But I enjoyed the lights and got great pictures.

The landscaping is very nice. Thats the high point. Most of the animals are kept in old time small cages enclosures. Very sad and upsetting. The entrance fee is ridiculously high for what you get. About half the price of Disney for much less than 1 % what Disney offers. Snacks are also major rip off. Ice cream cones, though tasty, are $7! Photos with parrots $25. Parking $10 on Top of entrance fee. A family of four would spend well over $300 for a visit with lunch.

This Review is for the Luminosa Light Festival, not for the actual park itself. The place is great but its way overpriced for what it really has to offer. $40 (including tax) plus $20 for parking (either if you park in their garage or at the city parking right next to it) for an event that is really worth around a $20/$25 entry fee.It is supposed to be a place filled with lights all over the place but in reality is just some of the areas that are lighted up leaving remaining areas in the dark that could have been better taken advantage of.The place is not that bad really but if youre willing to spend a minimum of $60 to go there (excluding food and drinks and if youre driving there), there are plenty of other activities throughout the city that you can have a better time with that amount. Thanks for reading and Merry Christmas to you all.

Too much money for what you get. Also the signals are not enough, we wasted too much time try to get to a show and got there at 12:32 PM, 2 minutes late and the lady told us...you are late, you need to use the other entrance now... we were 4 moms with 5 kids, that doesnt have sense, and she was very rude, thats no the way to treat people. I am not coming back. Also there is not a petty ZOO, there are only goats, no more animals to pet.
