Its a beautiful walking area with pretty trees to give you shade. The only problem is the lack of designated public parking spaces, its confusing since its a residential area.

Its a Miami MUST! You have to visit both day and night, daytime you can find mostly elder people to play domino and chess and authentic souvenirs to buy, nighttime latin music comes out of the restaurants, and a lots of people strolling on the street. Beautiful old-timer theater, a Cuban walk of fame, authentic ice cream shop and an American glassed barbershop with the downtown skyscrapers in the background. It was an unbelievable experience to us!

Its not just the Park, but the whole Calle 8, so vibrant, so colorful, so full of excitement. This is Little Havana at its best.

Nice little park if you want to play dominos, chess, or checkers. Too many tourists loitering around but the players seem to be able to tune them out. I would vote not letting people in unless they are going to play.

Wear your guaya and cubanito hat and be ready to throw some bones or just be a spectator and enjoy the fun. It almost looks like a movie set but is an authentic celebration of the culture.

Great views at the top of the observatory especially at night! Ive only been here once, and I was amazed by the view! This place is also safe. Unlike other popular city lights locations, this place has an even pavement, with boarders as youre driving w/ lots of lights to guide your way and also has security. On top of that, parking is fairly easy to find!

Al
Review №34

Its one of those things you really only need to see once if youre not a local Cuban. Its just a neat Gathering Place where many local Cubans gather to play chest and dominoes and socialize about politics and such. Its very small, and nothing real amazing to look at. But nevertheless, fun to take a walk through and observe if youre not a local.

Jo
Review №36

The absolute best park in Little Havana if youre looking for authenticity and the spirit of what SW8 used to be like. Its small but quaint. Go there if you want to watch live Cuban domino games and get a feel of the area. However, note that Little Havana is not as safe as it used to be, so be alert - especially at night or with family.
