Four stars for the friendly services and cheap admission. For any kids under 10 it is a super fun place. Nice interaction with the animals too. Definitely not recommended for older kids though.
This year I decided to beat the crowd. The weather was also perfect. Love the entrance of Santa enchanted forest with all the beautiful lights. Enjoyed all the fun rides, and great snacks like elephant ears, papa rellena. You could never have a bad night at Santa enchanted forest. This is definitely a must go.
I remember I used to bring a friends kids here about five years ago very frequently. Wed have such a wonderful time here. I decided to stop by here again and it was still amazing. The view is really nice, the environment has become a lot cleaner, well-maintained, and a lot livelier even. Its a perfect place to relax or have a kids party. Definitely one of my favorite places in the city.
Staff was nice and helpful, specifically Eric. Cars were fast and did not smell like gas like some places. This place is awesome! Cant wait to go again.
If You have not have a chance to visit this wonderful place, Santa’s enchanted forest is the place to go with your lovely family and friends. The lights are amazing that can be seen from far away and when you are inside you get enchanted by the beautiful colorful displays. The rides are for everyone from small children to fearless young adults, it’s guaranteed that everyone will have a great time. Food is amazing and diverse for all yo enjoy.. safe place for all the family to feel great and pleasure is everything around.
Classic. Perfect in it own way. My 1 year old son loves it. I laugh at the young Ikea-generation reviews calling it worn down, wanting everything to look brand new, even if cheaply made. Playland has been around for almost 70 years. I doubt the child you brought thought Playland was worn down or let it dampen their good time. Maybe you should try their perspective. And not just for Playland.
Santa’s Enchanted Forest is ok for the price you pay. But if you are expecting lots of Christmas lights there was not a lot of that for me and my family. For my first time time there I was expecting more Christmas lights then there was and something different. I have gone through neighborhoods that get together and deck the whole street out and look better. The main focus of the place is the rides, which there was not a lot of, compared to the South Florida Fair and the price is about the same if you buy your tickets early. Also I kept hearing that the food is great but I was not impressed, the dishes we tried were more grease and less taste. Eat before you go and just have dessert there.
I cant remember what other place in south Florida where you can truly get the Christmas spirit along with fun rides and yummy carnival food. Santas Enchanted forest has it all.We (family, loved one, friends) go every year, its like a tradition and thank the heavens for the season pass ( if you have lot s of friends that want to go at different times is a must, or like me i took one day just to take pics and no rides). Although the ride selection hasnt vary as much since the very first time we visited, is always a joy ride to go to this park at the most wonderful time of the year. Here are my Pros + and Cons - of Santas Enchanted Forest:+Many Attractions+Many Rides for all ages++A whole Christmas park in the middle of always summer Florida its a site to bee seen+Food, Food, Foooooooood+Free Parking+Save money by buying online or getting the season pass early+A lot of things to do in the park, between the usual carnival games, to the rides and the shows that happen throughout the day (mini circus, magic shows...etc)+A lot of beautiful art by local artists+Beautiful Christmas trees all around, including a huge one on your way to the attractions.+Petting Zoo+Local shops offer discounts to visit+- Cart train is no longer free ( i think a dollar per person but dont quote me on this)+- Food quality is questionable in some places, so its a hit or miss in most cases+-When its packed, its better to stay away, some people can ruin your experience, so avoid the big dates-Prices keep increasing but nothing new seem to be added to justify it.-Ticket prices for one day visit are expensive ( if you have the slight idea that youll need to go twice, get the season pass)I have very fond memories of this park, and keep making new ones every year. See you soon Santas Enchanted Forest
The lady doing the Wild West photos was amazing! We loved the time she took with us and all of the poses. So many outfits to choose from. I think her name was Tracy? Just awesome!
Had a great time with my family at Santa’s Enchanted Forest. For the price we pay I think it was fare. They had lots of Christmas Decorations which my family and I loved. Specially they had a-lot of food to snack on. I think we will be coming back next year in 2020. Thank you guys we had fun !!!
It was my first time attending SEF. My family and I really enjoyed ourselves. The only negative was the entry to the park, there were no clear lines just a big mass of people trying to pay.I also suggest you update your ride signs, some of them show tickets are required to ride. Overall it was good time had by all.
We had a wonderful time here. It was my second time going. And its fairly inexpensive:) the kids loved it. And its got good rides and depending upon when you go the lines arent so bad either
The the owner and attendants dont tell the truth. Is NOT all ride included with the entrance tickets. Children and teens have fun, but do tell the truth and say-few rides included - light are great
Description of my experience: Open from 5pm to midnight. Entrance very expensive. Very packed. Traffic. There is no organization and lines to buy a ticket. You can wait forever. You get in the park it’s already 8:30pm. If you don’t have a pass to get to the ride faster (extra fee) you can wait an hour. So you will be able to do 3 to 4 rides max. There is more food trucks than rides. Half of the entertainment are with an extra fee. They used to have a little train to pick up people from the parking for free. Now each person has to pay. It’s not much. But there is nothing else at this period of the year so it’s the best we can have. Better than nothing. Need to expect to spend $150 per head including everything you need for couple hours.
These people all they care about is money. I decided to pay for fast passes for the obvious reason to pass fast but they did not have a fast pass on several rides, when I complained about it their answer was... no fast pass no sign are you kidding me we spent extra money so we could go in fast and they are telling us we have to make the whole line, whats the point of buying a fast pass if u cant go in fast. Its all lie for money.
I really do hope they can’t renew the lease in tropical park for 2020. Santa’s so over priced for the home made entertainment it is!!!!! It’s absolutely absurd to pay those ticket prices not to mention the type of people it attracts to the park. I just don’t see it being worth going from a consumer perspective.
Definitely coming again in 2020!!
Great park to have fun but 95% of the people working their are very rude I went with my family and the workers were being very disrespectful to everyone there.workers getting in fights with customers over the tickets and even some lady being racist.I have had good experiences there but this year was terrible and it makes me not even want to go no more becuase of it please I would appreciate as well as some other people if you can try to at least control that if we are paying for it we should be able to enjoy our time there not being show disrespect. Thank you
I always enjoy going to Santa’s Enchanted Forest. It’s a simple fair and nothing out of the ordinary, but it’s a sweet family experience. The ticket prices are fair, but the food is insanely over-priced and just greasy messes (typical fair food). The lines can be really long for the rides and the staff is not the friendliest considering it’s a Christmas-themed park.
Came here some 21 years ago & it seems to be EXACTLY the same. Lots of good props for pics & plenty of rides. Just funny how being there 21 years ago the whole layout feels exactly the same. A little disappointed
Great atmosphere. Coming midweek was a bonus b/c the crowds werent huge or the lines that long. Fun times for myself and the entire family
Couldnt believe after entry all the rides are included! All the kids had so much fun. Im glad they made some of the games rules easier for the kids to win a prize. That ferris wheel really is ginormous!!
Lots of fun things to do. Great rides, food and photo ops.
We go yearly because the kids love it. Its becoming extremely expensive $27 For a 4 year olds seems a bit much. $37 For 9 and over like really wow. On top of it the food inside is even more expensive $8 For a meat kabobs seem a bit extreme. Dont know how much longer will be able to take the kids as we are a family of 5.
I used to go when I was younger and prices were reasonable. It’s still such a fun place to go and the atmosphere and food are great!
It was fun some of the games cost money but all in all I had fun a little pricey but needs more ridesInstead of food trucks and i suggest getting fast pass
Early teens enjoyed the rides. Cheesy enchanted area. Very cheesy. $36 admission gets you the opportunity to spend $5 each on some additional rides. Carnival class food $$$$ !
Be Aware of SCOTT’s WORLD OF MAGIC I don’t appreciate offering the kids a “magic kit” during his show- that once he finished, Scott called all the kids to the stage (and they all went running excited) he whispered to them to ask their parents $10 for the kit or $5 for just the wand. The kids’ faces was crushing. The way Scott “run his business” was low.As for the rest of the park... we come every year mainly straight to the rides. I have no opinion about the “carnival/fair kind of games”. But our favorite rides are Magnum, Mega Drop, Genesis and Crazy Mouse. Lastly out favorite food is the 25 donuts for $8 or the $6 mega bag of cotton candy. There is plenty of parking but get ready for walking. I highly suggest you to check out the weather because of fun night can turn out a bad one if you dont have the proper weather attire. I only know about 3 bathrooms across the park (which is too little for the amount of people that comes here) and only one atm by the entrance- not sure if they had more. Parking seems secure and handy-caps are by the entrance but you have to let the parking guys know before they send you far far away.
Yesterday I brought my family to Santas, after I first visited in the year 2000, and though it seemed like there were more rides, the treatment of the employees controlling the rides has deteriorated. They seem to have forgotten that they are dealing with families (insisting on splitting our group with excuses that didnt make no sense).I seen them treat the elderly and the ppl with special needs with no regards. On top of that they went from $14 entrance fee when they first started to $35 which is highly overpriced.Little kids pay $27 without tax and out all the rides for kids at the park they will maybe only get to ride a couple of them. From my experience I do not recommend going because I dont think its worth it (you could go and try your luck)
This place is so great the rides look new and the people who work there are friendly!
Fun and pretty but extremely overpriced. Entrance for 2 adults almost $80. Food here was super expensive 2 small pinchos with a little bit of meat $20, 2 orders of churros and 1 milkshake $35. Rides are definitely old, not much entertainment for what you paid for entrance, and everything else inside is overpriced. People just come here for that Christmas carnival experience but they are really pushing it with the prices
So, let me start off by, Im sorry if I write a lot, but my experience last night was HORRIBLE! First of all lets start off by to get into the park its a lot of traffic and very unorganized, it took us about 20 minutes just to get into the park and find parking. Then when we were getting on a train with the white Uhaul van in front of the train, it was an older man and when we asked him how long of a walk is it from here to the entrance he said it would take 20 minutes and if we ride in the train it would take only 10 minutes. So we decided to take the train, he said it was $1.50 per person so it was five of us, so the total was $7.50. He gave us a blue and white wrist band that says Saturday on them and he told us that with these wrist bands we can use when we leave and that we dont have to pay again for the train with these wrist bands, and when we left the park and got on the train and showed the wrist band the lady said that those arent the right wrist bands and we had to pay again $7.50 just so that we can get a ride to our car. The lines to get your tickets to enter the park were very unorganized and EXTREMLEY LONG, the only good thing was that we saw where it said CASH ONLY and that line was a little shorter. The tickets for five adults was $190. Then we all had to use the bathroom and for the womens bathroom they have four trailers with two stalls in them and there was a line for that and they were only letting one person into each bathroom. Plus lets not forget that those were the only bathrooms they had through out the whole park and they are located at the beggining more towards the middle of the entrance so we missed the whole beginning of the park to stop and take pictures because of the bathroom being so far. We were also starving because we waited to get there to eat and three corns with just garlic butter on it and a little bit of salt was $25 and it doesnt include the drinks. Then we saw the Himalaya ride and thats the ride that we all really wanted to ride so we got in line at 8pm and got off the ride at 10pm, that wasnt the worse part, the worse part was that, that ride is so intense that my fiance and I got hurt. His ribs are bruised up and my right arm is as well. We only got to ride that ONE ride and we left home from how bad the pain was. So in total we spent $236.00 just to eat three corns, ride the train to and from the entrance and to ride just ONE ride!! Please dont waste your time and DONT ride that ride.
Had a great time with my friend there, beautiful place, many things to do and extremely fun
Even our bunch of seniors enjoyed it immensely. A lot of walking but a lot of places to sit and rest
Great place to bring the family best thing to do is grab the annual pass it is the best things to do if youre going to come more than one time it is well worth it great food great rides it is awesome
It is good but some rides were closed and it was not even 9:00p.m
Almost had a fight with the older woman whom I was purchasing the ticket from. She didnt believe my son was 8 yrs old and insisted on charging him full price. She even went as far as to talk to my son without my permission to ask him for this birthday, and then asked him for the year he was born in. Which he wasnt actually sure when it is. She had a horrible attitude the whole time. She ended up charging me a child ticket but I had to get loud for her to do it. My son is tall for his age. In my sons whole life, taking him to different fairs and disney parks, I had NEVER had to argue with anyone at the ticket booth regarding my sons age. Even as she was charging me the ticket she still told me she didnt believe me. Not only that, their tickets are over priced as it is. And the food stations where ridiculously expensive. This is the worst experience I ever had at a fair. I will NEVER go to Santas Enchanted Forest ever again!
I was excited at the beginning with the amazing places to take photos and food, but the mirrow houses are very empty, dirty and old (waist of time) and some attractions are not safe. Personally I got 2 bruises after I rode the balerina, it was so speedy that was not fun and the result was my bruise (today is still painful)
This year was a lot of fun the park has really outdone itself! Me and my fiancé went and had a great time we noticed a lot of new stuff compared to last year. Must try the fajitas with the guy in the front who wears a straw hat delicious! And must try lousfarms empanadas, our of this world!
Now these days nothing is cheap, everything is expensive and keeps going up every year. This fair to start off is too expensive and for the price your not getting your moneys worth. Theres more food trucks than there is rides. Is small, so theres no attractions like that. They have everything decorative with Christmas lights but thats pretty much it. All the rides and attractions are kinda old and rusty already. Food is very expensive, I would recommend to eat out before you arrive especially if your a family of 4 and up. Bathrooms dont get me started, i was gaging and almost vomit with how bad the smell was and how disgusting it was. The only reason I went is because i won 4 free tickets but I would not dare spend money in this place.
No kind of security check for weapons, drugs.....nothing!!! All they cared about was the credit card and ID matching. What if tickets were from Grandma who lives in another country or state!!
I love this place it bring the Christmas spirit into you
I have so many wonderful memories here- this is truly Miamis greatest family attraction!
What a shame this place is ok not what I expected to be honest the shows are worth it but the rides are ok. And the disgusting bathrooms are just something else they are so disgusting and uncomfortable for the public specially if you are handicap pregnant or have kids. Just awful. I would think with the money the charge you to go in they would have descent bathrooms. Horrible just plain horrible
Family fun activity and friends not bad at all, bathrooms need updating tho
Nice spot to go with family. Affordable price
The ride carneys here DO NOT CARE about YOUR SAFETY. My son got hurt tonight. The carney LIED saying my son asked to go on the fast slide. This guy should have known better. The guy up top told him to put his arms in the air. Another bad directive. The carney at the bottom egged my 5 year old to go on the orange slide. I even told him....Are you trying to make my son wipe out? Needless to say, he did. My son shot straight up in the air and landed head first down. He got a forehead bump and plastic arm burn. There was no cops or fire reecue near. I had to go look. Nobody was prepared with ice bags eccept the fire rescue. I filed an accident report. The restrooms are disgusting and so are the attendents who rudely beg for tips. The shows are the only good part. I am a very disappointed mom.
The Bomb!!!! I have never been to this place before, just because of distance and I dont frequent Dade county at all, being a native Floridian and living only in Broward county. But, my daughters birthday is 5 days before Christmas and we decided to stay in FLA for 2018 and this was her request for one of her birthday/Christmas gifts....Parking was not bad at all. We got there early. The walk wasnt bad nor was the wait. Did have long lines, but there were many open booths to pay so things went efficiently. The walk in the beginning; VENDORS UNITE!! I loved it! So many options. My favorite, of course, were the Elephant Ears from a stand with no line; they were soooo good. The BiG Christmas tree photo opportunity is a nice feature also. I loved how clean the restrooms were and the housekeeping crew are stellar. They kept those restrooms so clean and they deserve every tip they worked for. Very friendly people. The rides were amazing. Not too much thrill, but just enough, and I surprisingly rode many rides more than once. The food!!!!!!! I had a cheese steak, elephant ear, grilled sausage, cotton candy, and tasted my daughters cheese fries. I didnt know I could eat so much, but I did and it wasnt crazy prices, just crazy and ridiculous good food!! This is a treat to enjoy for any age group. Dont go anywhere. I am coming back this year; 2019 for another dose of fun. Thanks for the experience Enchanted Forest folks! -Mis JM
Its a great place for families and friends to enjoy themselves on a magical enchanted forest.
Good experience for adults and children
This place gets worst and worst every year
There is really the spirit of Christmas ..I love ....
I liked it this year more than ever!
Nice love the attractions and the Christmas lights and nativity scenes.
Entrance its very expensive!! 2 adults and a child $109!!! A real odyssey to get parking on weekends, neverending lines (you have to pay extra for many rides)...not recomended at all.
Ive been going to this thing since I was a kid and so this time of year its always nostalgic when you see all the Christmas lights lit up off the highwayIts unfortunate though how much they capitalize on this seasonal attractionFor the money you pay to get in I think a lot of the props should be updated
Riding the parking lot taxi bicycle is probably not worth it, i was told it was a 15 minute walk to the entrance when it was actually 4. This is just a carnival disguised as a cheap santa theme park, its not worth the admission fee unless you intend to ride a lot. Buying the express pass is probably not worth it unless its extremely busy.
Best amusement park in South Florida.
What a magical dream!! Love this place..
Is not worth it, a very expensive experience.
This was a beautiful time here, a lot of rides.
Will never go again. Fights happening where little kids were at. Unbelievable!Trying to reply to your question but I dont see that option. Security was there, but like if it wasnt. And you guys overprice everything like its Disney world.
Its bad. Dont go. You will leave with regret and bruises.
Firts ride we try to take carousel they told my 12 years daughter to come down because she was to tall sad really sad this is supposed to be a family park
The entrance very expensive and ride old fashioned
Entrance tickets are a bit expensive for what you get, the bathrooms are disgusting, the food is overpriced and not even good, some of the rides are old and unkept, some of the displays are nice and some are really tacky, the tree lights at the entrance are nice, the only good thing they have going on are the motorcycle shows.
I loved it but the lines where SUPER long
Not like 20 years ago unfortunately, this place has become cubanized & it feels like a dam club with all the garbage music, no Christmas music & most of all no more Christmas spirit, not worth coming anymore feels like another Miami or Hialeah place.
This place is a low grade carnival. Save your money.
Dope spot. Rides are all paid for with entrance price. Little crowded and entrance lines can be a little long
It’s a family tradition, we loved it !!
Nice place with rides and food to explore
Overcrowded -Expensive - No Security check at entry. Smoking everywhere.
Having so much fun with my family
Tons of fun activities here...
Definitely a place with history in Miami, a place where kids love to go. The amount of lights on the trees is impressive and looks beautiful in person and from the highway. This place needs a lot of work, the first section is various christmas themed dioramas if you will. They are the same ones from ages ago and are in various stages of disrepair. The rides are pretty good, typical state fair rides, there doesnt seem to be a large variety however, especially when conpared to the Youth Fair. The price, given the decrepit dioramas, and ride selection is too high in my opinion. This place is becoming an attraction we go to less and less. When we do return we are reminded that it hasnt changed at all and why we should skip it the following year. The ferris wheel is really large and nice to ride and get a birds eye view of the city. The food is pretty good. The portable bathrooms are not terrible.
Good for family but espence
I got ripped off, I bought tickets online to save $10 ea ticket, only for them to say I had to pay $10 additional per ticket at the gate. What the purpose to sell discount tickets. I had no other option but to pay. tickets were non refundable.
A little over priced. Nice music. Great food
Fun but take cash!!
Good place for families and kids
Unexpected rain.. Only $2 for rain coat.
Nice to go with friends and family, but food is very expensive.
They need to update their decorations without raising the money for entrance
Had a great time!
Excellent place, awesome for spending time with your family and friends
Great place to trip
Amazing but food and entrance to the park are very expensive
Great Experience with Family
Boring and walk too much.
Good
Beautiful ️
The prices high and where is the Christmas music.. We missed that too.. To sad we are missing the tradition
A bit pricey for me.
Back to be a kid
