Great spot for an Airboat ride, cool gift shop and place to learn about alligators and the Everglades... Check out the restaurant while you are there, some interesting things on the menu... Gift shop has lots of great stuff, clothing, jewelry, alligator belts... And, plenty of airboats, so you wont wait long to start your ride... Restrooms available... Gave only 4 Stars as NO wifi (2020 & no wifi? Dont they want us to share & stay connected with our families?)
This place is awesome to share a day on family even on this pandemic times they assure you to forget your problems for a while sharing a very interesting ride on the Everglades of Florida, alligators are very difficult to see it while you are on the boat, but we had very good luck and saw a young alligator mother watching her’s eggs. She was hiding herself under the water just at the side of the eggs and just at the moment that motor boat started she let us see her eyes, that was awesome. At the end of the ride you can enjoy of a show where one of the guys put her arm inside of a very big and powerful male aligator, that was impressive. At the end of the show we had the opportunity to take a picture holding a small baby alligator . We had a very good time there. I will recommend this adventure to share with friends or family.
Gator Bites taste amazing. Fun family spot. Gio is a great tour guide. Explained everything thoroughly. My children had a blast. Its hot so be prepared to sweat.
Great place to spend part of an afternoon, whether youre on vacation or a resident of Miami. The air boat experience was fun and exceeded expectations! It was hot, so make sure you remember a hat and sunscreen. The park seems aged but definitely delivered on the gator viewing. Staff was awesome and super nice even to kids.
This place is awesome! We saw a Snail Kite, momma alligator and her nest. The boat ride was sooo much fun. We actually drove by it and turned around just to see the place.
The fan boat ride was fun. Speeding through the narrow waterways is exciting. Learning about the everglades and the ecosystem was educational. Dont forget to attend the show afterwards.
The crew here are extremely nice and informative, they even gave me a AAA DISCOUNT! We spent about 30 or 40 minutes in the everglades, sadly we didnt see many alligators because it was summer time but we still had fun riding on the boat and taking with the captain. Afterward, an alligator show was included as well as a walk thru the park looking at the gators. The show was fun to watch and the host was very engaging. Give them a try!
I was born and raised in Miami and in 42 years never went to Everglades Safari Park. Walking to it with our 2 year old we felt that we would be disappointed because of its size. But they have a lot going on such a smallish space. My daughter loved it! Would imagine its even more fun for slightly older kids that know the stories. Was impressed actually...and how you can you not impress a kid when you have slides and live animals!
So much fun!! We did a private tour with LOU, and had an absolute blast!! Thanks to all the staff for being so friendly and knowledgeable! Make sure you go to the alligator show!

Great ride, great place, great walking trail! It was a little flooded but your in the everglades!
We drove ourselves from our hotel and it was a lovely drive. Once we arrived we were greeted by the lovely staff. We did not have a reservation and this was not a problem. We did not have to wait long and the boat had enough space for everyone to be comfortable. It’s a lovely experience and value for money. The ride was family friendly and I will highly recommend this activity.
Capt. Lou was amazing. He made sure we seen alligators and made the trip worth every penny
The Everglades Safari experience was a great adventure finishing off my vacation in Miami. I only had three days to spend in Miami and I’m glad that I did the Everglades tour because it really was impressive. We saw alligators, turtles and many more animals out in the river. The guides are great and it’s an affordable way to see the other side of Florida.
My first time coming to the everglades and my first ever fan boat ride. The ticketing process was painless and the agent was friendly. Their boarding system is numbered and very organized. They assign you a number and call it when its time to board. The ride was better than I could have imagined. The driver was funny, the boat is fast and they even provided ear plugs. We saw a few alligators, which is pretty uneventful. The boat ride made it worth the $50 investment.Dont wear a hat unless you want to hold it on the whole time or dont mind loosing it and wear lots of sunscreen. The gift shop was boring and the bathrooms were the reason they didnt receive a 5 star rating. I highly recommend buying your tickets online and saving $5ea.
Amazing place, beautiful ever, nice and lovely staffEverything was clean and organized
A good mix of selling me stuff and teaching me about nature. The air boats are a blast. Ill come back and ride the private boats. They looked much better than the big boat we rode.
Nice place to visit! We saw a couple alligators and the employees are fun and helpful.
Bought the Groupon and it was awesome. A ride with plenty of gators, turtles and birds visible. Then, a short alligator show included. Finally take a picture with an alligator. Pandemic note: you may wear masks but on the boat some people didnt. The staff all wore masks and there was available bathrooms for hand washing.
Its a bit off of the beaten path, and you will pass several others on the way to here. We got a Groupon for it, and it was a fun and educational excursion. Id definitely do it again.
Everglades Safari Park most definitely exceeded all of my expectations! I enjoyed every second here, the greenery and serenity of this place is priceless. The Airboat Tour is a lot of fun, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor, he kept us very entertained throughout our ride. The Alligator show and exhibit were great too. They have free parking, a gift shop, and a restaurant as well. I look forward to visiting again!
Excellent trip. Everyone should see the glades at least once in a lifetime. Grandsons got to hold and touch a gator. Small class on their lives. Then a half hour in the wilds of the glades. Seen natural occurring birds nesting and gators sunning. Would definitely refer everybody. Clean, friendly
Such an amazing experience. Got to see alligators and crocodiles up close and personal. It was an amazing boat ride and the boat captains should be paid well and not base it on tips especially when you dont have any cash on you. I would definitely come back with my family and enjoy this experience again.
Great customer service and the captain was funny!
We had a good time. We saw 2 wild alligators, winter time they are more abundant than in summer months when the water is high and temperatures are hot.Air boat tour lasted about 30 minutes, gator show was around 10-15 minutes. After the tour there was an area where you can walk around and see more vegetation, alligators and turtles.I would go back again.
Safari boat ride was okay, guide is experienced and informative, got to see a bit wildlife and gators. Not enough time to take nice photos though. Motor is very noisy but will provide ear plugs for you. Kids will love the experience. Parking lot is not big enough if crowd arrive the same time. We waited and circled for 20 minutes to get a parking space. Bring a light jacket in case, quite windy during the speedy ride. $28 per adult for a 30-40 minute ride is a little pricy.
Great experience. The air boat was a very smooth ride. We had a great tour guide that was knowledgeable about the park and wildlife. The gator show was educational and entertaining. Definitely worth visiting.
Great experience! If you have a national park pass, bring it with you. So you can save $3 per person. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Also, you can save some bucks by buying your tickets on Groupon. :)))
Wonderful place, excellent your guide and really awesome Alligator show. Highly recommend!!! Will definitely be back
Everglades safari park is a unique experience in the outskirts of Miami. You can find multiple park services in the vicinity but this is the one that has partnered with go Miami cardAirboat experience with amazing narration by the guide was the standalone point. They also talk about alligators kept captive. But they dont talk much and you cant see manyThey also let you hold alligator in hand. This costs 3$ per person but its one of a kind experience
Super nice people, great show. Id definitely recommend it if youre going through the Everglades!
Great place. Staff very friendly thanks for a great time
A good experience! Its a nice park that has a boardwalk, show, and a 30min airboat ride for $30! The park needs a little more maintenance and the gift shop personal are not very friendly. You do not get any phone service there, and they do not have wifi either. But the amount of animals and things to do warrants a 5/5 review. I did not go to the restaurant so Im not sure how that is.They have a Groupon for $18 for a single ticket, or $86/4 tickets.... Which doesnt make any sense: 4*18= $72. And then ... You also have to pay to get into the national park. And then asked to tip everyone. So.... Maybe just go with a different company if you dont want to be nickeled and dimed for everything?
It definitely crossed all my expectations. That boat ride will be the good one. If you are with kids, they will surely enjoy the most out of the trip. Our captain Charlie(if I am not mistaken) is great, he spotted many alligators. You can enjoy the ride..!!
Airboat ride was an awesome experience. It was like 30min ride.We had a passionate captain who made the trip a learning experience and fun too! He pointed out alligators, all types of unique birds and gave us brief knowledge about the Everglades. After the boat ride, we went through a small museum display and then there was an alligator show.At the end, whoever was interested to hold Snappy, a baby alligator got a chance to for $3. They also have a Souvenir shop if you want to buy magnets, Tshirts etc. Would definitely recommend to experience!
The boat ride was great! It was lots of fun and very informative. We saw several gators, lots of birds, and some turtles as well. The gator show was simple but educational and nice. The museum needs lots of work though, half of it was empty and dark.
Was good fun guide on air boat and informative. Try to get a seat on the side of the boat for a better view. We did see about 5 alligators on the trip in the boat. As well they have a park with alligators in captivity and ever a few wild ones roaming the edges of the park. The show was interesting Judy a guy feeding the gators and talking about how they are not that aggressive and they even recognize their names.
Great your awesome gator bites at restraunt the staff was extremely insightful and very nice
The Everglades Safari Park tour was a blast! All of the guides were knowledgeable and friendly. The airboat tour was fun, fast and informative! Our green-hatted tour guide (forget his name) was interactive with the group and quite humorous. The only downside was that the museum was small. But for the price, this tour is well worth it. Definitely recommend!
Absolutely loved our visit to the Safari park. We had a 40 min air boat ride and our captain was very knowledgeable and funny. We saw 10+ alligators, beautiful birds and a turtle. Really worth a visit here and we also got to hold a baby alligator called snappy which was fun and learn more about alligators and crocodiles. Didnt know the difference until we visited here. Highly recommended.
Had booked air boat ride on groupon. Bit far to access. Have to print tickets well before as there is no network in that place. But the airboat ride, park safari and alligator description was really great. We could take pictures holding a baby alligator.
Our guide took time to explain everything and was able to answer out question. Made the experience entertaining and interactive. Would recommend it
We love this place so much fun everyone is so nice and so knowledgeable we learn so much our captain was amazing we definitely recommend
Wow!!! What an experience!! Air boat rides, crocodile show, a photo shoot with snapy.. everything was new to us.. we thoroughly enjoyed the day... air boat rides was awesome!! my children love this place... it is a must watch place... I highly recommend.. This place is very safe.. staffs were very polite and friendly... plan your day early.. even though it is winter, go with sun screens to protect you from sun... Restaurant has limited items... better to go with packed food..
B-e-a-utiful Park. Was in Miami and knew I had to check out the Everglades. Tons of wild life, cordons and the scenery is amazing! Would definitely recommend checking this place out for natives and nonnatives
Great short airboat ride. Would recommend. Plus a quick gator show and you can pay 3 bucks to take a picture with a nice size baby (toddler at 2 feet) alligator.
This place is a great experience for all ages! My second time here and I still love it and could ride the air boats all day long. Its beautiful out there and you learn a lot!
Great experience. Great your guide. Bring your sunscreen and bug spray though. Bugs werent bad out on the boat. They were worse inland
Took part in the Safari as a last day excursion through Norwegian Cruise Lines. Saw some wildlife including birds and Alligators. There is a restaurant and gift shop on the grounds. Good bar type food and decent souvenirs available.
An amazing place where youre guided through the nature, or whats left of it, during the first part of your visit and then even get to see what some of the local animals are capable of.All the staff and the rangers were very kind.Theres even a very small museum of local wildlife available.Would definitely recommend.
Well worth to stop here. Prices like at the other places nearby but you can see a Alligator at their park. Kids can hold small Aligator for 3 bucks after the show. Airboat ride very fun to experience. Really enjoyed that place.
What an amazing places! All of the staff is very knowledgeable and informative. You can tell that they are very involved in our environment. What a fun adventure! Well worth the trip!
One of the coolest experiences ever. Im a huge Archer fan, so the minute my partner told me we were going on an airboat ride in the Everglades I completely freaked out. I, too, channeled my inner Burt Reynolds and was psyched for my Gator adventure. It was exactly as amazing and beautiful and thrilling as I expected it to be. Airboats are super loud, but they provide earplugs (very considerate), and our boat captain was awesome at pointing out the wildlife. He spotted every turtle, alligator, and various other creatures along the way. After we got back to the park there was an educational discussion about alligators - they breed them in captivity right there at the park as well. You could even hold a little baby alligator for $3, which I didnt do - I was too excited to explore the grounds.Absolutely worth the drive. Thanks, Everglades Safari Park!
This tour was totally fine.I didnt like that the GOVT EMPLOYEE park ranger giving the tour so blatantly asked for tips (there were signs all over the boat). Also, the gators who were in captivity were all piled on each other. Not enough space. It was creepy! And if the park is there to conserve alligators, then WHY does the on-site restaurant SERVE ALLIGATOR AS A MEAL?So much pandering and fake conservation vibes. I was not comfortable with this experience at all.
Great experience!!! Really depends on the weather, saw over a dozen alligators on a great day. Also, I recommend trying the alligator bites, again another great experience. Also had Ann opportunity to handle a live baby alligator.
Very short ride, very informative probably wouldnt do that particular ride again but would love to do another airboat ride. Its a blast
This was a great trip to The Everglades! The airboat ride was 28 dollars, and lasted about 30-40 minutes. We saw several alligators on the airboat. The guide stopped several times to explain to use what the wildlife was. After the airboat ride is a short little alligator show, where the tour guide explains several different attributes of the alligator. Afterwords, you have the option to pay 3 dollars cash to hold a baby alligator and get a photo. All in all a fun way to spend a few hours!
Enjoyed a great time riding an airboat thru a portion of the Everglades and seeing alligators! Then, watched a wildlife show featuring alligators being fed. It concluded with the opportunity to hold a baby alligator. It was definitely worth going to.
Enjoyed the boat ride and the views. We saw two wild alligators and the enjoyed the show and the small walking path. People were friendly. Captain was good. Place could use some TLC and some real low cost but needed maintenance to description signs on walking path.
Excellent tour! Good to know that all their tours include the boat tour, trailing path, the aligator show, museum and optional crocodile holding for 3$. Definitely recommend it to buy on Groupon instead of the tours for 45$ pp. you save more than 60%
First time to take airboat, awesome view and handsome driver
The airboat was so much fun! The guide was very nice and pointed out a lot of alligators. You might be able to see the alligator in the center of the picture I posted. There were even walkways and museums that were very fun. At the end there was a show and they let you hold a baby alligator at the end.
Guy Joseph Luna kept staring at my daughter and taking photos of women not paying attention. Cant believe you have people like that working there.
Very beautiful natural environment. We could see alligators in their natural habitat. Birds as well. The captain of the boat answered all our questions and stopped if any animal appeared around us . It was a very interesting adventure. We saw an alligator show as well and took a picture with a cute baby alligator. Thank you for that!
Awesome experience! Went with a group of adults and children. The airboat ride was great and we had a passionate captain who made the trip a learning experience and fun too! We saw alligators, all types of unique birds and just the beauty of nature. After the boat ride, we went through a small museum display and then there was an alligator show, pretty cool! At the end, whoever was interested to hold a baby alligator got a chance to for $3. Would definitely recommend to experience!
Definitely 5 stars!!! Friendly employees, great air boat trip! So interesting! We saw 10+ alligators, tortillas and birds! Perfect please for families and kids! Thank you!
Awesome marshes. It’s a river of grass. Sadly we didn’t spot any alligators in the heat but for sure there are so many there.
Decent prices for the tour, staff was very knowledgeable and polite. This was our first airboat ride and we loved it!! Cant wait to visit again!
A lot of wild animals. If one love animals and fauna or a Steve Irwin fanatics can enjoy here.
Very cool little day trip. Airboat ride is worth it even if seeing the wild animals are hit or miss. Staff are very friendly.
A fun side experience for the entire family when visiting Miami. There are several of these parks along the highway in the Everglades, and we just happened to pick this one for to the availability and other reviews. The guides and staff were friendly enough... But the alligator show was a bit lame, consisting of 10 minutes with one park ranger speaking about the 2 Gators in front of him, and then having one snap his Jaws shut. Then having everyone who wished to move to one area to pet a baby gator. The museum was also dilapidated, consisting of a 800 sq ft indoor area with 3-4 fish tanks with a couple of baby Gators. The star of the experience was the air boat ride into the Everglades where you can see a few wild life including Gators, turtles and bird species.
Great experience. Our guide Manny was super cool.
Tour was great and our guide Eddie was fantastic.
Very knowledgeable staff and super fun and fast ride! Didnt get to see any gators in the wild, but the kids loved holding a baby alligator at the end of the small tour on the way back.
Great boat ride. If you buy from Group on there will be great discount. You can see lot of alligator bird. The alligator show was awesome. The 40 minutes boat ride was thrilling. Must see.
As a Massachusetts man visiting the Everglades, this was a perfect way to get acquainted. The ride itself was wicked fun and I got to see some really cool wildlife, including a couple huge alligators in the wild. The gator show was informative and cool to see, especially at the end when you can hold a baby alligator!
What an amazing tour! Saw a lot of gators as well as turtles and other birds and river creatures! Learned so much. Was well worth the price to do the airboat tour!
Excellent tour and tour guide. Very educational and awesome experience. You see a lot of gators! Definitely worth the $$.
Great place to visit! If you go to Miami don’t miss out this place! Very cool and interesting tour, after the boat tour there is a “show” with crocodiles and I was unsure if I wanted to see it because I’m against circus and all that type of show but the show basically about facts about the different animals living at the Everglades, how they take care of them and what to do in a situation if you see them. Very informative and great staff! I felt very save all the time!
Awesome place to bring the kids. The price of the airboat ride includes a show and entrance to the park where there is a lot of gates laying around. If there is chance of rain, bring a poncho. Otherwise it I’ll turn out to be a miserable day.The restaurant is pretty decent also.
The parking is so limited and the ticket line is long in peak hours.( 30-40 minutes) it is better to buy your ticket online ahead of time.
Had a great time! Very nice tour informative, our tour guide was great ( dont remember his name but he did told us one time he had to walk 8hrs back to the park through the swamp ) Show was good too! They just need to update/ clean the mini museum the have.
Amazing experience! The air boat ride was pretty awesome, but I just wished they made it a bit longer (roughly 30 mins) and spent a little bit more time at the last area so we could spot more Gators and other wildlife. The show was really cool and informative. Dont forget to bring some spare change and you will get to take pictures with a baby gator. The walking trail was also nice but short. The staff were really good and friendly, full marks to all of them.
The park was beautiful but we didnt get to see any Gators while on the boat tour. However, a good portion of the park was closed due to flooding. Our tour guide was good but I happened to have had better at lesser known places. You cant bring your baby even if you have some protective head gear for their little ears, just something to take into consideration for those who have new little ones who might be looking to take a boat tour. All in a we had a great time and saw some pretty cool wild life...best part was when we saw a 7 foot gator in the the parking lot ditch which was totally free by the way!
We did the 45 min. airboat trip. The boatride is fun but the actual ride is very short. Long time off the trip is spent laying still and listening to the captain do his talk. We did see 2 alligators and a couple of turtles but you can see them all the time in the canal next to the road. Considering the ride is reasonably expensive, I wouldnt go for this a second time.
Overall experience was good. Staff is friendly. Bathroom is clean when I came, our tour guide was funny and entertaining, they have their little museums, and some little croc show. In Everglades, we saw around 4 Alligators.
Beautiful place with opportunity to get close to the nature and alligators.
Fantastic place to go on an airboat ride, watch alligators in their natural habitat, see a alligator show, hold a baby alligator. Our guide for the airboat ride was funny, informative and made sure we enjoyed the ride and took pics. Very reasonably priced and almost no wait time to get on the ride or for the show. It was a blast !
Very nice for kids to see the aligators, educating experience.
Best time on vacation. Our guide has a great personality made sure everyone participated.great price for a great time
Really nice place. I learned a lot of new stuff.Staff was very friendly and helpful.5/5
While the tour is short, there are plenty of alligators and the guide was great. The alligator show afterwards was also cool and informative.
Awesome place, excellent atmosphere and attention, you can ride an airboat thru the Everglades, see the alligators show with a real specialist, take a pic with a little one, with a piton too, can enjoy a decently burger and a Everglades taste plate, with alligator, frog legs and catfish, the food was good but a little bit expensive, if you want to ho in summer time, please use a ton of sunscreen and mosquitoes repellent, trust me you will need it!
Lots of fun! Captain was great, was funny and knowledgeable... gator show was really neat, kids all loved it from 2 to 14. Best part was there was a gator sitting on the bank right next to the trail.
In short, this park is completely outdated. No alligators seen during the boat trip. The show was the shortest show I have ever seen, about 5 minutes. Half the park was closed due to water nuisance. All in all we were outside again after an hour. I think the owner must invest in a modification.
Its a good place to come and see an extremely small facet of the Everglades without too much trouble. The staff are super friendly. The airboat rides seems short, however we cant complain as the 25 dollar charge per head isnt high. The airboat captains are awesome so please bring cash and tip them.
Beautiful! Staff friendly, park huge! The price on food is a little expensive and there is no cell phone service or wifi here
Loved the airboat tour and the alligator showWorth visiting for educational, spiritual, recreational or even for romance. You get to hold a baby alligator for a few bucks and get free time yo walk in the park.
