Cool place. Went for an arm wrestling charity event. Has a bar upfront for alcohol and regular drinks. When I went it was catered by a company that served yummy tacos. And then it has a room with a stage and some floorspace for everyone else. Bathrooms as well. Small lounge area upfront.

Im taking improv classes and its great, people are really nice! And the instructors are amazing!!!

I came here about seven months ago, and although the show was good, it was nothing compared to the one that I watched last week.This was top notch improv, with nothing to envy to well established comedian groups like ASSSSCAT. Very well structured and staged. It was amazing to see them intertwining ideas on the spot, even after a few acts had passed.Funny thing is that they were all pretty much the same performers, which means that their classes are actually turning out really well. I am very happy for them and Ill be definitely going back pretty soon. :)

I am a former student a current performer at Villain Theatre and there is no better place in Miami to develop your talents. If you’re looking to perform and write comedy this is the place to be. The teachers are very encouraging and experienced and the atmosphere is welcoming.

First impression was wow! What a great looking venue! Anastasia puts on awesome comedy shows and I was honored and thrilled to be part of one. Can’t wait to come back to perform here again! One of my favorite venues to date.

Villain Theater was such a great experience. Whether it’s a date night, a night out with the boys, or just going out solo I’m sure you’ll enjoy yourself. The guys are great at improv. I’ve gone twice and both times the show was unique. They get the crowd involved as well and when we went they gifted us tickets to a future show for our participation.

This is a great venue for live improv, sketch and stand-up comedy in Miami. They host an amazing set of open mics and stage time for the public as well as marquis shows of locally and nationally known stand-up comedians. Villain Theater is where many comedians go to film their tv specials.

Im sorry that my experience was not as good as Ive read. My husband and I arrived around 8:00 for an 8:30 show. The door was locked, there was someone inside moving tables around, when we knocked (we knocked hard) no one came to open (although, when I purchased the tickets, it stated that the doors would be open 1/2 before show time). There was no one even waiting to get in. After double checking to make sure that we were in the right place (cant miss it, sign is as big as day) we waited 15 minutes more (8:15), tried again, and left. Not interested in returning. Good Luck

This is a terrific theater. The performers on stage are first rate and the production levels are second to none. This is the place to go to see the very best talent in Florida. A must see visit! BRAVO!!

I love Villain Theater! Not only the venue, but the people. The staff is friendly and warm. They are hard working, small business owners trying to make a difference in one of Miamis culturally diverse neighborhoods. I cant believe that I live 2 blocks from the Villain theater and never knew about it till I got curious and checked it out with my fiance. The show was hilarious. I was just expecting stand up comedy but then they did a musical too! I like how the stage is very close to the audience and provides an intimate experience. Definitely going more often and inviting more people. Its worth it.

Stopped here while on vacation. It was so much fun, hilarious and welcoming folks. And I feel like we werent just doing the regular tourist stuff but engaging with Miamis vibrant artist community. Still one of my favorite memories of my trip.

Excellent training, great teachers. I keep enrolling in one class after another since its so much fun and getting so much experience on stage.

They teach you about poise, action, and humility. They only want you to show what you’re capable of, and it’s always more than enough. I never had such wonderful teachers and I will continue seeing their next prodigy’s in their regular shows. You will not regret going to Villain Theatre. It is a true experience of art.

Came across a comedy program being held here on a Saturday night. Tickets were $15, but you may be able to find a 2 for 1 coupon. This is actually a comedy school that holds performances during the week. It is all improv. Not bad, but got a little boring at the end. Did have a few laugh out loud moments. May try it again when I visit Miami again.

The seasoned performers were hilarious . . . sharp, witty, and on their game. Must be prepared to see young performers that are not as seasoned . . . although I credit their willingness to learn, try and participate.

I am a current student and intern at Villain Theater. Just graduated VT1 to start VT2. The staff/teachers and students have been very welcoming and supportive! It doesnt matter who you are or how old you are or where you come from, they welcome everybody and you never feel out of place or that someone is judging you. Villain Theater is an AMAZING place! For both performances and classes, I highly recommend visiting Villain. I started coming when I decided to participate in a drop-in class in July 2018, and now Im already on my 4th package of classes! I really appreciate the diversity of activities the theater offers, it goes beyond improv; its really becoming a center for comedy, creativity, and expression in Miami. I love bringing friends from out of town to the theater to show them another side of Miami. Attend a performance, take a class, try something new--you wont regret it!

I went here on a whim with a friend as we were just looking for things to do in Miami on a Friday night on event brite and upon the start of the show we were taken in by the performances, and we had a ton of great laughs. Money well spent and I will definitely make sure I come back !

It isnt easy being funny and this group pulls it off consistently and in very creative ways--never a dull moment. Definitely a unique offering in Miami. This place open pretty recently and I really like it. I signed up for improv class for a 9-week course prices are put on their website. So far week 3 its been great the people there are very nice the instructor is knowledgeable and very down-to-earth and they are expanding the building as time goes by as they will be doing more a video production and photo shoots at their location. Very cool group of young professionals trying to make something happen in Little Haiti. the street they are on actually feels pretty comfortable and safe especially during the day night time not so much. It seems like the CRA is coming in and making things a bit nicer. They have shows throughout the week again check the website. And the front lobby there is a bar serving various adult beverages. The atmosphere is very nice and the AC is ice cold. Definitely worth checking his place out even if just for a night.

So many talented people, such a good vibe, amazing comedy, you need to go and experience it!

Villain Theater is not only a great group of people, but have taught me so much about improv, acting, and being true to a stage character (and even being true to yourself in life). Highly recommend the $5 Saturday bootcamps to get a feel for how fun improv can be!

Had a fantastic time here! The improv was so funny, the audience energy was great and the karaoke afterwards was equally as amusing. They sell drinks and snacks at the entrance and the overall venue is such a chill vibe inside. I loved it.
