The magnet program is excellent. My daughter was on the vocal program and Mrs. Ellis is an excellent teacher. It is a shame that the other classes are so relaxed and not very rigorous, because the boys learn almost nothing. Although my daughter saw advanced classes, she did not have a significant advance in her subjects, which are very basic and not very rigorous. They should have a focus on improving the intellectual level of the boys and not having so much time to lose. They should also teach ethics and values ​​that society so badly needs. The boys are very revealed to the norms from a very young age and although the moral principles must be taught at home, the boys spend a lot of time in school, influenced by their peers who want to do what they want and who cannot be told nothing

I as a student attend this school and in my opinion it is fun, you get to meet people who are interested in the same things you are. Sometimes there is drama, but really if you do your own thing and follow rules you are going to enjoy this school. The teachers are awesome, they do what they can to get you ready. I have almost no problem with shows and homework because I do most of it in my critical thinking class. I really feel that this is a good choice for a school.

Love the school, the parents and pick up sytemnot that great. The cars leave too much space between them making the line longer, also they block the lane to exit in the circle. There are 2 lanes one next to sidewalk to pick up, one to the left supposedly to exit, it doesnt work like that.

Is a great school to attend to! As a MAS student I believe that this school is very clean and an amazing way to start middle- highschool. Although the school gives unnecessary detentions and some teachers need to chill, I still think that you should come here as in this school we don’t judge and we will support what you do and who you are

This school is truly something special and unique. I am a student enrolled in the magnet program and I can assure you, this is a school worth your time and effort. If you truly are passionate about what you learn here, I guarantee you will have a rewarding experience here at Mas. The staff works hard to ensure the school is running at its peak efficiency. I am in 8th grade currently and I am taking gifted/honors classes for mathematics and science. I am in the broadcasting magnet and I work as a scriptwriter. The programs here are amazing and unique. I highly recommend this school.

To much dramatic people in there. If your child is involved in a lot of dramatic situations then this is the school for you.

Teachers are very unreasonable. It is Spring Break and my child has gotten work from every single teacher even though they get to enjoy their vacation. Besides that their way of grading has incredibly affected my childs GPA even though she is taking incredibly rigorous classes and is always doing homework. Dont send your kid to this high school if you want them graduating with a high GPA.

From someone who used to enjoy going to school, and has been there for a about 2 years now, I would like to say that its not all that. I mean this in the best way possible, but going into 6th grade, I knew more then I did leaving 6th grade. When were switching classes, its horrifying. Especially during my first year. The school has its perks, like its many club options, but I feel like they focus a lot on how clean their school is over what they teach in their classrooms.

I am currently a student at Miami Arts Studio @ Zelda Glazer, I am part of the Theater magnet and the Gifted Program. This school is new; thats a key factor many reviews have failed to mention. The newness of the school (like everything) has its pros and its cons. The fact that the school is new makes it much more pristine. Many 6-12 schools nationwide arent necessarily rundown but they arent in the best shape. That is not something you will find here; the school is clean, its exterior is beautiful, and the interior of the classrooms is spacious and accommodating. The school is also technologically advanced, using cellphones, social media, and tablets as means of learning for ALL students. We even have a technology magnet which receive even more accommodations (from high tech computers to updated tablets)! The cons with having a school so fairly new is the fact that yes we offer many programs but not as many as any traditional school would (especially for the high school; we do offer A.P. courses though). The school has 8 magnets which you can join through an application process (Which varies from magnet to magnet). Those 8 are: Theater, Dance, Vocal, Broadcasting, Technology Production, Band, Orchestra, and Entertainment Law. Theater is (undoubted) one, if not, the favorite magnet among the school. That is due to the talent level that is in the magnet (Its honestly extraordinary; even Pitbull said ...should be on Broadway)! Another major factor with theater is the faculty and staff. Mr. Nick Garcia and Mrs. Alina Garcia are honestly amazing and extraordinary drama teachers. All other magnets are amazing! All magnets except Theater & Dance are still being developed fully (but they are still AMAZING). The academics in the school are great. Under the amazing hands of Dr. Miguel Balsera the school has flourished to one of the best schools in the nation! He makes sure that academics are a priority, often holding talks and pep rallies with students before standardized testing commences. Some teachers are strict but it is for your benefit. I can assure you NO TEACHER here has bad or negative intentions towards you. The middle school and high school (separately) are AMAZING!! But the beauty of this school occurs when you mix them. The shows become better, the environment is friendlier, and the magic that comes with being a Wizard is that much more evident. Take it from me! As a student, as a Theater student, as an ambassador for this amazing school... Give Miami Arts Studio the opportunity to bring out the MAGIC in you!

Honestly i’m disappointed. what the kids and staff stated about this school is mostly untrue. yeah it’s a clean school but the education is ridiculous, and don’t get me started with the organization of the administration. the behavior is terrible and whenever something small happens the staff focus’ on it however when something big happens they just look at it and forget about it. overall do not recommend.

They treated my best friend terribly!! It was her first day and the teachers and students were rude.

I am currently attending this school.I give it all five stars because the teachers are awsome and the principle also.The school itself is new and i really dont see any bullying in my school.I love evrything about it but the uniform.I dont like how the uniform is black.Because since when we switch periods we have to spend the day with a black shirt.
