Last night, I took my first salsa & bachata class along w/ my boyfriend. We had an amazing and pleasant time there with Alex going over the steps little by little and making it easier for us to learn. The most important part is that it was so much fun! Amazing is a total understatement for what we experienced last night. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend Salsa Mia to any and everyone! It was so much fun! Alex is a great instructor - within 2 hours you’ll be comfortable dancing both bachata AND salsa. After class is over you have the opportunity to get on the floor and dance or watch the spectacular acts performed by the live band and professional dancers. Definitely worth the money, you’re guaranteed to have a great time!

The salsa classes are in and upstairs room in Mangos night-club. The class is awesome! Very friendly and energetic teacher who was very good at explaining and showing basic moves. We tried salsa night at Ball&Chain the night before - it was a neat place to watch some good dancers, but not a worthwhile class. I would highly recommend Salsa Mia instead.

Made reservations for a Sunday night, but we had a conflict and were nice enough to schedule us for. Monday. Instructor was very encouraging, and had a good grasp of handling all different ability levels. After the 2 hour lesson we were escorted downstairs to the club proper, although there was not much dancing going on. We went back upstairs and found a table overlooking the main bar and stage. Food (10% off) and drinks (50 % off) were average, but service was good. Live Latin band was incredible, with great shows with everything from dancers to Michael Jackson and Beyonce impersonators. Price included a second night free, although we didnt take advantage of this.

OMG! What a wonderful time we had at Mangos on a Friday the 13th! April 13th to be exact. On April 11th to the 15th, five of my girlfriends came with me to Miami Beach to celebrate my 50th birthday. We had a total blast and the highlight of the weekend was Salsa lessons and dinner at Mangos! Alex was our instructor and was just phenomenal! He made the class so much fun and an experience that we will never forget! We also had dinner at Magos, which might I add was delicious, and they made it so special by having a Happy Birthday display on our table and singing Happy Birthday to me when they brought out our desert. I cannot wait to return to Miami to have the Sals Mia experience again and enjoy dinner while watching the exciting Vega Style shows! Salsa Mia and Mangos, you get 5 stars from Virginia and her birthday entourage!

Fantastic experience! A must try! We had such an enjoyable time learning bachata and salsa. Alex is a true professional and great teacher.

One night only in Miami on our way back home, we stumbled across this salsa class. So glad we ddI! My cousin had never danced salsa before EVER. Alex is an amazing instructor! Instruction was very clear to understand and connect the thought with the step. By the end of class everyone was dancing salsa and bachata. It was wonderful! Includes a brief break in the middle to enjoy a delicious mojito too! Don’t hesitate, just sign up.

What an A M A Z I N G experience !From the Venue, Food, Drinks and most importantly the the Staff. Everyone was just great, Alex really is an entire vibe, he made it feel like a night out on the town not a class. It was easy and fun !I haven’t laughed and danced so much in a long time!I will definitely go back and bring others.

Allison was a phenomenal instructor! I had such a great time and would go again! At first, I thought it would be awkward switching partners, but it was not at all! It was a great way to experience some of the Latin culture! I was just sad it went by so quickly!

We didn’t know what to expect when we signed up for the lessons, and I was a little nervous to start, but Alex is absolutely amazing and made everything so easy and fun. I wouldn’t consider myself a “dancer,” but the way Alex lead the lesson made it impossible not to pick up. His energy is unmatched and you can tell he truly enjoys what he’s doing. I loved the class and would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun way to spend a night in Miami.

Fun is an understatement! Alex makes it an incredible experience from the moment you get there until the moment you leave. He’s talented, friendly, experienced and charming. I’ve been there twice and plan on going back for more real soon. I’m completely addicted. It’s an awesome experience to have on a date or a night out w friends. My first time attending Salsa Mia was yesterday and I took the salsa and bachata lessons where I had an amazing time!! Best part is Im a dancer and even with a bunch of beginners in the room, the teacher Alex made it worth my while!!! I learned so much and felt like a goddess while doing it! I definitely recommend for singles, couples, and groups as all where in attendance and having a ball! Im looking forward to next time!! Thanks again!

The best thing you can do in south beach! We had fun, learned some moves, stepped out of our comfort zone, and fell into the rhythmic beats of Mangos dance floor. All of the drinks were good, but the included mojitos were heavenly. Highly recommend for all ages over 21!

I booked a class for a bachelorette party and it was a hit! Great teacher, funny and attentive! So glad this place was recommended to me. After the class we headed downstairs for our dinner and show reservation. We were all impressed and the food was yummy! The service was phenomenal!

My fiancée and I took a class with Alex at Salsa Mia during our engagement trip to Miami. One of us had some experience and the other was brand new. We were both a bit nervous because we didn’t know what to expect. Alex was incredibly welcoming and upbeat when we met him. He clearly has a lot of experience teaching students of all levels because he made the class fun and exciting for the both of us. We asked him to teach us both the cha cha and salsa, and I think he did an incredible job with both. He knew we were newly engaged and made sure to make the experience special. It was a highlight of our trip. We would both highly recommend Alex and the experience at Salsa Mia. We would absolutely go back if we lived closer or if we take another trip to Miami. (This review is really, really late, so my apologies, Alex!!)

We had an amazing time dancing!!! Alex was extremely patient and an amazing teacher. We were able to learn the basic steps and some advanced steps to the salsa and the Bachata before the end of the night. My sister and I were given tickets to Mangos Salsa lessons for Christmas and I have to say it was the best present ever! The routine was super fun to learn, the instructor was energetic and enthusiastic and we got an opportunity to dance with everyone in the class. Would definitely twke this class again!

My boyfriend and I took salsa lessons with Alex, another couple from Denmark & one other young lady. The class was small, intimate, easy to understand, and above all the most fun weve had! Alex was very interactive, he made us feel comfortable and that even of you have zero rhythm (like my boyfriend) anyone can dance salsa. I would highly recommend this to everyone. Salsa MIA is AWESOME. The instructed does a great job of helping us all feel at ease, especially if we are new. Great for friends, couples, and whoever. Youll be dancing salsa that night in an open environment with zero judgement. And mangos is crazy.

We had a great time with Alex at Salsa Mia. He made everyone feel welcome and all ability levels felt comfortable. We learned Bachata and Salsa, made friends with other people on holiday, and had a good laugh. The monitors, and everything else going on in Mangos, was really good too. Salsamia is the best. Great atmosphere from the people to the instructors. Definitely recommendable if you are in the Miami Soth Beach area.

During our last trip to Miami, we took a salsa/bachata lesson with Alex at Mangoes Cafe and it was the highlight of our trip! Alex is a great energetic instructor, who keeps everyone engaged and creates a fun learning athmosphere for all, whether they are beginners or have some dancing experience.

You wouldnt think that it would be so difficult to find a good Salsa school in Miami but after going to Salsa Mia 2 years ago i could never find another school that measured up...
