Favorite club in Miami! Upscale hip hop vibe. Beautiful, friendly & fun staff who know how to really show you a good time!

Sound system was alright and staff were respectful. The dancers certainly did a good job at entertaining the crowd.

Rude bouncer. Why turn a ya customers that are willing to pay. We arrived 6/1 around midnight. So many groups were turned away for not having reservations. why not be like Vegas and allow “walkins” maybe they’d have a better reputation

It was great service, actually it was the best service I have ever received at a nightclub before. Music was horrible and the DJ just couldnt shut up! But service was great.

I would recommend this club if you are looking for a good night out in Miami. I visited this place in May when I was 2 days in Miami. For me it left good memories. Its quite upscale and classy, but not too much though. The music was good in my opinion, lots of hip hop and latin. It had a good Miami vibe!

Packed, small, expensive and to me, disappointing music (unless you enjoy 100% R&B radio tracks). I probably just expected something a bit better for the area. Well, the ceiling is truly amazing (no joke).

So I just got into the bar with a “promoter” and 11 of my friends and they didn’t let the last 3 in, the first thing he said was “I’m gonna keep it real with you but this club is all about looks” and as we disagreed with his points and responded with how rude it is to not let someone in because of how they look he responded with “I can’t argue with the boss but if you cane in you would want to sit with someone who looks like Chris brown over someone else right?” Discriminator is illegal and we stormed out of that club so fast we would never not stand for our friends.

Arrived about 2am and was promptly greeted at the door. It was a busy Saturday and bottle service was prevalent. Great music (top40/hip-hop/EDM) and a great place to dance the night away. Didnt have a table but would anticipate and plan to spend more time and $ next time around!

Bouncers are very unpolite and wont let people enjoy because there are too many of then moving and pushing ppl without reason.They wouldnt let us in because being men despiste we had paid for the entrance.Would recommend if there was another didci

Awesome Club. If you like Hip Hop Rockwell is the place. Great sound system, great service and the dancers are really well coordinated. Very nice, good looking crowd.

Best dance club I have ever been to

We had a reservation for a table, and we were treated horribly at the door. The man at the front who had a list of names Saturday, stated we couldnt enter because the gentleman we were with didnt have on correct shoes (Loafers), even though we confirmed a table with an associate. We are women of more melatonin and instead of looking through the list to confirm our names he told us NO. However they let in a group of white males who were dressed in cargo shorts and sneakers, and other women in with no hassle or questions. Apparently the owners of the club dont care about business because their racist meat head door guardians seem to run the place.

Unless you are caucasian & 115 pounds dont waste your time coming here. You can not get in unless you’re on a promoters list. My group of friends were on a list & we STILL couldn’t get in bc some of the girls in our group were thicker than average. Its disgusting that a business like this exists. Mind you, we were dressed formally, heels & everything.

I’m gonna go ahead and agree this place is racist as hell. My african american friends and I walked up and they wouldn’t even look at us let alone let us in. They literally were open for 15 minutes when we showed up so I’m gonna assume they weren’t at capacity. Don’t even bother

THE REVIEWS ABOUT THIS CLUB NOT LIKING BLACK PPL ARE TRUE. I went there 25 mins ago dressed really nice and a black bouncer told me they were only allowing people in with a table or with a promoter. Mind you I’m visiting Miami solo but I still planned on ordering drinks, etc !! He then went on to say it’s latin night and it’s not “our night”. I can’t believe this club how racist !!

Definitely one of the best Clubs on the beach also not as expensive, always a great time and music, excellent performers and DJs, cant go wrong.

DO NOT GO TO THIS NIGHTCLUB unless you are Hispanic! They are racist! My spanish friends got there before I did tonight (6/30/18) and were able to get in WITHOUT a reservation and I arrived a few minutes later and I was denied entry even though I explained my friends were already inside! They gave me some excuse that I needed to have a reservation! I stood outside for about 15 minutes watching them allow others inside who were Latinos that did not have any reservations! This is a racist establishment! They told me to tell my friends to come to the entrance so I could get in and when they tried they wouldn’t let them come to the door! I have never felt so embarrassed and humiliated before. I never leave reviews however I believe people need to be aware of how this nightclub is treating others. Wish I could give 0 stars.

Miami is full of great clubs and bars. Tried this place out with friends nothing too crazy but a good time.

I wouldn’t even have this club a one star. I NEVER experience such discrimination in my life. My friends and I are darkskinned girls and we were rejected at the door. We said the name of the promoter that invited us to the club and the bouncer said no entries at this time, Meanwhile a bunch of groups of white people said the same promoters name and went in. They make it look like it’s a diverse club by hiring many black bouncers but it’s NOT!!!

I went there Friday night alone, they didn’t let me in because I didn’t have a table reservation that costs 600 dollars! I’ve been to this club a few times before and promoters could get me inside for free. So without promoter it’s too pricy.

This is an absolute racist club. Couldnt give 0 star as minimum is 1 star. The management and bouncers are totally racist towards indians. Only hispaniac are given preferences over here. We booked this via Airbnb experience through Osama and can see that hispaniac people were allowed without any checking/fees. We were 5 indians who went this club on valentines day and the club manager (russian) and guards literally threw two of my friends outside the club without any reason. We had to call Miami police but they also did not intervene and asked us to go to civil court instead of allowing us to go inside the club since we had paid the full money. I would suggest that if you are not from a hipaniac or latina ethnicity, you should stay away from this club.

I’m usually a frequent at E11VEN, Story, LIV etc.. This was my first time at Rockwell & I have to say I’m very impressed club has a great layout, sound system & lights are great as well. No sitting space unless you buy a table like most clubs. Drinks are cheaper than other venues. DRESS TO IMPRESS!! Idk what’s with all the “venue is racist against blacks” I saw a fair amount of AA’s all very well dressed. So obviously if you’re going to nice venue like this you don’t want to be wearing street clothes it’s not a good image for the club. The people & atmosphere great.

I stopped by the Valley to pick up my friends. I was asked to leave with very bad words or pay for parking. I told them Im just picking up my friends but they were trying to get in my car, screamed and one of them scratched my car. I was shocked how it could happened in such a place... Very unfriendly, ugly behavior! Its not supposed to be like this!When my friends have shown up they started asking money for valley parking from them.3 Mexicans felt themselves like a bosses! Ridiculous!

I’m a veteran that showed up on Veterans Day and they denied me entry. I was even willing to pay whatever the cover charge was and they still denied me. Multiple people showed up after me (At Least 20 people) and they were able to get inside without a problem. I will never come back.

Expensive and bad service

How are you going to play hip hop/rap/R&B and not let black women in? Unfortunately Rockwell is very selective and being a woman of color is a no-go. Completely and utterly shocked at how we were treated. We were disrespected and ignored; wont be coming back.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Because if you are women and trying to get raped by different dudes, you are free to go. If you try and call for help from security you will be told that is a club and there is nothing that they can do. Its dark and full of guys that are ready to rape you and harass you since they know that nobody will witness that. Dont go. Its unsafe and dangerous. How shameful. They will rape you there.

Bouncers lied to us about managers name Telling us he would get his manager and then after a few minutes he came back and said our concern wasn’t important enough for the manager to come to the front secondly we wasted our money on this place to not get in because apparently if you buy tickets online you have to be there before 12:30 but online it does not say that. The bouncer told us it’s easy to get a refund but it’s not that easy because he then told us he’s never used the website. This is your warning do not go to this place unless you’re Caucasian or Hispanic because you will not get in. They have African American bouncers but it’s all just a front. I hope this place gets shut down. The bouncers are liars and horrible and the manager is horrible as well to run this type of establishment. Will definitely be contacting different sources to have this establishment investigated.

This club is not worth going to because the staff discriminates people. My girlfriend was asked to wait in line because she was wearing a jean jacket, I saw people being let in even though they were wearing some random clothes but jean jacket seriously. We were ready to pay the cover charge but no they kept on bringing excuses to not let us in. The carder was rude because the bouncer told him to be rude. I don’t know the bouncer’s name but he had roman numerical tattooed on his fingers. He is incredibly rude and unprofessional, acts like he makes the rules, seriously a jacket!! This place is Racist. I went with my Sister dressed appropriately on a Monday and got in with a promoter. They basically get girls drunk early around and fill the old guy section with drunk girls so BE AWARE!!!! To add, around 2am they change the set up of the club to be bigger, which Threw me off completely as it was practically a new club. Very much unimpressed. Ive been to many club in the US and never experience racism.

Terrible!!! Pick and choose who they want in the club went early at 1130pm when they were open because i read alll the bad reviews told us the club dont open until 12pm which is BS. Wasted money on an Uber there and had to take one back to the hotel. Definitely would not recommend this club dont waste your moneyy.

Horrible experience. Had a reservation for a table. we had direct communication with the promoter for 2 weeks and he assured us that everything was set as it was for a bachlorette. When we showed up the promoter acknowledge our presence and told us to hold on for 1 min. he never returned ignored our texts. They judged Us based on our outside appearances. We were a group of 13 girls. Disgusting pretentious club. We were all beautiful girls but because we werent size 0 and 59 they didnt let us in. Way to ruin our night that was suppose to be a great night for bachlorette. This is a horrible horrible club. Do not go here

Rockwell is one of the best nightclubs in Miami. They have the best Djs especially on Mondays . Thats Rockwells night. Their cocktails are amazing. They really compete with Mokay and Studio 23.Theres a parking garage on 7th street, behind the club. You dont need to use the parking valet service

Club has horrible customer service. They allow you to buy tickets online without telling you there is a time limit for arriving to the club for ticket to be vaild. They will try to charge you extra to come. Club discriminates against regular customers

I heard terrible things about this club. All my girlfriends said to avoid it. When I first began modeling in South Beach, I was told on the spots for the models to go to & was warned what clubs models should avoid. I was told from several other models to avoid this place. And also, when I spoke with a promoter from this club he was extremely rude, chauvinistic, and sexist towards women. Ive never been there but just repeating what Ive heard & my experience with a club promoter from there the night that I was going to give it a try. After how rude he was, I turned to my friend & said you made your point & I see what you mean. Definitely pass if youre in South Beach. THeres much nicer places with much nicer & safer staff.

I honestly wish I could give this place a zero. If you are a black female that has too much melanin they will literally hesitate to let you in. I have been to this venue on 2 separate occasions on a Saturday and both times I had a male friend already inside however, they gave ME a hard time getting in. The first time I notified them that my friend had a table and they made him come out to get me in. The second time my friend was also already inside. He questioned why I had a hard time getting in because they let him in despite not having a table and allowed him to simply show his ID and he was then able to walk right in. At this point he was told he could not come back in because I was with him and we were forced to attend another club. On both occasions I stood on the other side of the rope as I watched men of all races and other women who looked nothing like me walk right in. I believe they have a certain look they are going for but unfortunately they are trying to execute this look the completely wrong way. If you are a black male that looks remotely athletic they will let you in, its only when you are a black female that they question whether or not you should be allowed to enter the venue. This upset me because I look far from ratchet, Ive graduated from a prestige university and work in a corporate office, but despite all of this my entrance in a club was questioned. They simply judged me based off how I looked and this was quite frustrating. This was not only embarrassing but quite sad and reminded me of the controversial club incidents that occurred in a London club called Dstrkt. I will NEVER come back and intend to notify all of my black female friends to avoid this place as much as possible. Rockwell....DO BETTER!

This is one of the better nightclubs in Miami. There is an emphasis on hip-hop music which is a nice departure from the EDM regularly found at South Beach clubs.

We did not want to go here since the reviews on this place are horrible, but we did and regretted it.

This place is racist. We got a ticket to go there and they would not let me and friends go in the the club saying they were over capacity. Then they let a different race come in the club. I would give it 0 stars but I have click one star. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!

My friend and I got stuck in Miami an extra night so we decided to go here. After standing outside for over an hour and a half, and several people that were let in, I asked why we werent getting let In.... ignorned. When standing there we hear the door man ask other people he let in let me see what your girls look like... not a good experience at all. Been to many clubs throughout the us, i.e. LA, Vegas, New York never an issue. Dont waste your time

Club was cool because usain bolt was in the building but wasnt as cool when all the lights went out and the speakers were busted.. They coudlnt play music and put on the fire alarms before we were served bottles.. Was supposed to be credited never happened..

Clearly this is A RACIST club. Denied me and my wife entry for not being on guest list, then while searching for another place to go, couple minutes later 2 white girls approached and were asked if they were on the guest list and both clearly said NO, but were let in anyway right in front of us. Another arab couple walked up and were denied right after. AVOID this RACIST venue .

Its Monday night, 3am....and was just looking to go out and have a good time. I heard that Rockwell was the place to be but unfortunately I was steered wrong. The first thing Id like to do is say that nobody wants to be disrespected and lied to and the door guy, Marcus, did just that. I respectfully asked to gain entrance into the club and he, by the almighty power of a door guy, denied me entrance because I was wearing a t-shirt and sneakers....while simultaneously people are exiting and being let in with said t-shirt and sneakers. His reasoning holds no ground. As a person who works in the entertainment/bar/club industry I would never disrespect anyone, its bad business. Marcus is clearly the ultimate scum for lying. I would never return and I hope the owner would understand that he clearly lost out on extra income that I would have provided for Rockwell and maybe this review could have been different

Do not go!! We went on a Monday night where it specifically said on the website that there would be no guestlist required and when we got there we were then told that you needed to be on the guestlist and continued to do this with no real reason or explanation given once we asked for clarification about why it doesnt say this on their website. The white guy on the door with tattoos on his neck is racist as I saw many coloured people getting refused for no reason despite their being no real queue and him whispering and being the reason behind this. Worst place with a disgusting attitude towards tourists.
