The performance of Midsummer Nights Dream was inspired, silly, enthusiastic and had a few surprises. The acting was excellent and the choreography was delightful. This is the 3rd production of Midsummer I have seen, and the first set in modern times. I need to get a Bard Card!
Saw a great rendering of A Midsummer Nights Dream. Amusing and funny. Had the entire crowd roaring.
Most productions are quite good. I was disappointed in their Macbeth in the fall, so I was sceptical about an all female version of Richard II, but they made it work. Great job!
SSC is a Valley treasure. Their interpretations are creative, their actors are skilled and a joy to watch, and their humor and pathos alternately heart-wrenching in both directions. Do yourself a favor and class it up with SSC. The Bard has never been so fun.
They are incredibly professional and put on wonderful shows that I want to see again and again. I not only love their shows at Mesa Arts Center but also at Taliesin West.
Weve been to two shows put on by this group and they were incredible.
Cannot wait to go see one of the shows!!!
Just saw Hysteria at the Mesa Arts Theater. The most enjoyable roller coaster I have ever seen. I laughed and cried, felt entertained and moved to reflection by the play.Everyone on stage was powerful in their roles and convincing in their characters. This is a play you will remember and talk about long after the last curtain.
I felt that the Romeo and Juliet play was outstanding, putting the cello in made it a lot better, thank you for putting on the play for my senior class
Arizonas premiere Shakespeare and classical theater company!
