Awesome place to go very. . Imaginative.
My daughter enjoyed the lessons, economical but turned out to be too far from us to make it worth going back.
This morning Staff was Jovial and Proffessional ready for the profits to to come in as they greeted and assisted customers(50% off)I spent my splurge-fundsI had to return a lamp because either the switch was bad or the chord...I bought a lamp shade.. I walked into A Lions Den and Immediately the maintenance dude tossed the bad lamp shade(the lace is NOT attached to the rim on top but I wasnt even asked what the deal was.. just tossed at me We Dont do shades well I didnt listen or hear this at checkout... So they pointed to signs I CANT see due to blind right eye and cataracts...I bought the 2 as a set and was told 7 days must have receipt... (they were very busy and when my Total(100+)was said.... Hell I probably hoping I heard wrongI was a faithfull follower since 96...when they used to be Under A DIFFERENT Name/EntityTheyre Gone and so am I after such Ill Attitudes and Etiquette... I remember the black haired lady.. (the sheep that was shaking her head but knew Customer First Etiquette and the Lady of Color(beautiful colour)she worked this morning and last nightI should have stayed in your line at least we both understood how hard and long the day wasKudosI couldnt say anything while I was at the Stock-holders return desk
They made feel very welcomed. Inviting, warm atmosphere.
My little ones really enjoyed it. I am very happy that they had such a good time there. Its hard to get kids interested in anything that is not electronic nowadays, so places like this make a really good difference.
This is a top notch educational experience for any child interested in theater! The level of professionalism carried by this company is hard to come by. Each show is staffed by a team of professional directors, managers, and designers. All auditions are open to anyone ages 8-18 and they even offer classes and workshops for you to get some experience and know what to expect when you step into your audition!
Great inviting atmosphere! Great confidence builder!
East Valley’s Children’s Theater decided to use its most recent production, “The Lost Boys of Neverland”, to promote the ideology of transgenderism. Our family of 5 left the show at the Mesa Arts Center during scene 3, when it was clear that the play, rather than be an adventurous story for children, was intended primarily to promote gender confusion. The play was dark and depressing and it also dealt with issues of child abuse, which really made it very strange for “children’s theater”. When we take our family to children’s theater, we expect stories that are entertaining, uplifting, exciting, and imaginative. Instead this was a dark, depressing, and confused play that may appeal to some audiences, but certainly not children or family audiences looking for healthy adventure and fantasy. It’s unfortunate that EVCT decided to enter the fray of radical social commentary and in such a maladroit manner. It is unlikely we’ll be attending EVCT’s productions again.
Effective, necessary service to the community atarve. The boutique and resale warehouse have high quality previously owned merchandise for sale ranging from home furnishings, home decor of all descriptions to personal clothing and accessories for men and women. Their childrens wear and bridal wear sections are full of choice, as is the arts and crafts etc..staff are eager to help....super experience!
This place is all about quantity and money. Talent development and recognition? Not in their wheelhouse.
Love their community passion and desire to help kids learn and grow out of their comfort zone.
Great place for Youth Theater. They have acting classes, singing and dancing. The skills learned at EVCT prepares children for adulthood. 4 major plays per year, plus lots of activities.
A wonderful organization for kids wanting to explore the world if live theatre.
My kids had a good experience here, followed by a bad experience.I had two of my kids together in an acting class here. Before the class was over, I asked the front desk if the next class is filling up or can I wait to sign up. She said it doesnt usually fill up and that the school figures out whether the class will run the beginning of the week of new classes. If there are less than 3 kids the class doesnt run. They finished their first class, had their show, and felt really good about it. I emailed the director, Karen, the beginning of the week new classes were to start to say that the two would like to continue and possibly their sibling (third child) was considering. We had a couple back and forth emails about the third child taking the class or not including the day before class was to start. My two kids (that I said were going to take the class) were very excited about the play their class was going to do. We show up the day of class, which is a half hour away, and I tell the front desk that I would like to pay. The answer I get is that the class is full and we are not registered. Wow. Hold on. I ask to speak to Karen as we had been emailing up until the day before and at no point did she indicate that the class was full or that she hadnt included the other two children in the class. I had to drive a half-hour to find this out. My poor kids standing their excited and pondering the possibilities of the class they were going to join, and no accommodations could be made and no real apology. Just a really bad customer service experience. I was excited to find this place, and now sad that we cant be part of it because of this experience. Overall very disappointed.
Never seen a play there but heard good, its a childrens theater
Took a improv class here and it was so amazing! I learned so much more about acting and made new friends. Definitely recommend this place
Great theatre program for kids. Wonderful shows for the whole family to see.
They do a great job with the kids
My boys have come so far! EVCT has helped them learn how to stand in front of their classrooms to present projects and not freeze. They have also participated in EVCT’s beautiful stage productions and in doing so are making great lifelong friends! I would recommend EVCT to everyone!
East Valley Childrens Theatre is the bees knees. Hands down. Great productions and instruction for any aspiring young actor or performer.
I want to be an actress. And this acting class is amazing at helping young kids to be actors & actresses. Since I went to this active practice, we practiced a ply called lone wolves. I was the 2nd main character. And since then, I had the conference to be in many different movis. Ive been in X-men, hunger games catching fire, mockingjay, & Jessie. So Im saying this is a great place for a young spirited child who wants to be an actor. SERIOUSLY!!! You should try it!--- Jasmine DiamondJasmine Diamond
