Came here from Oregon. We went here towards the end of the Season on a Thursday. Surprisingly, there were still a lot of people. Good Variety of slides for all ages, from the little ones to the big ones. Even on a Thursday, some of the slides has a 30 min wait time, I cant image this on a weekend.
I went to Roaring Springs with some friends and we were really impressed with the safety and precautions employees were taking. I liked how my temperature was taken making me feel comfortable. Not many businesses are doing this. Staff was friendly, the park was clean, and I noticed Food and Beverage employees cleaning and wiping down tables. If you are wanting to enjoy your last few days of summer, I would highly recommend checking out Roaring Springs Waterpark! Will be back again!
Nice water park with plenty of slides for all ages. I brought my young kids and two of them are just shy of 48 inches. I would recommend waiting to go after they pass that milestone for it to be worth the price. Its pretty restrictive below that. The slides are fun and there is decent variety.
This place was awesome and perfect for littler kids and adults! Something for everyone and we will definitely be back!!!! The lazy river was great and long. 3 ft always so great for our daughter to float and stand any time. The wave pools got crowded but thats normal anywhere. The lines werent that bad for slides considering its the middle of summer. Very happy with our visit and the employees were all extremely friendly and very helpful!
We got there early. It was super fun, my sons first time there! He was so scared on the first slide we went down and the girl there was so nice to him and helped make him feel so comfortable! His favorite was the endless river. Couldnt tell you how many times we went around that thing. Super fun time!
I think its a great place to cool off and have fun with the kids! It gets super hot out there and you must wear sandals! I know its kind of a given, but most people dont . I got blisters on my heels and toes and the pavement feels like youre walking on hot coals! Be careful and make sure you and your kids wear sandals! Also, its a very fun place, all the waterslides are fantastic and the employees are very nice
This place is amazing for the kids and adults as well. I highly recommend the lazy river. Its my favorite ride. Also they have specials for events like family slide night. So hit up their website for for deals
Had a great time. Place was clean and staff was well trained. Not a five star review because they weighed you before you could go on the slides, so if you are over 250 you better have someone lighter then 149 or you will not be able to enjoy the park.
The kids had a blast. Be sure to go around opening time if you dont want to wait in the slide lines, otherwise they can take some time. The endless river is always fun to just float, and the wave pool is exciting for the kids.
Lots of features to choose from. From small kids up to thrill seekers. Priced affordable for a family of 4. Food wasnt spectacular but also reasonably priced and varieties. Lots of lifeguards, clean bathrooms/changing areas.
The family had a great time at roaring springs, we will definitely be coming back. Lots of exciting water slides, fun area for the little ones, and several options for food. My only complaints is it is a little pricey and the lifeguards were a little overwhelming it seemed like almost every minute I would hear a whistle going off. That being said my overall experience was great and the kids cant wait to go back.
Great place to enjoy the sun and water. Multiple different water rides. Love that they have a section for little ones. My 3 year old loved it!
A lot of fun that wont break the bank! This has been a favorite of mine since I was a kid and even more fun as a parent. It has something to offer for all ages, including shallow playgrounds, wave pool, lazy River, and rides of varying intensity.
Generous 3 stars if you can look past a few things..Five rides are shut down due to claims of short staffed or maintanence. Its the same rides everytime. We get it, though.. That usually happens when you pay your workers very little in what people deem a crisis.Admission is full price, though.$10 for a small locker to keep your wallet/keys/phone/contraband safe.Social distancing? Thats cute. Place still gets packed.Limited capacity? Not sure what that means here other than it sounded good in the proposal to be considered eligible to open.If youre afraid of C-19 this isnt the place for you. Im sorry. I will just break it to you now, you are required to show up at the gate masked up (noble, right?) Only to shed said mask a moment later on the other side of the gate and enjoy hours of exposure with potentially thousands of strangers. Neat, huh? Best part is you can try to pretend that part isnt just an act.Well played, Roaring Springs, well played.
Its a nice place with good selection of rides. But not enough shaded areas and the water in the pools was little bit cold to my opinion. I didnt have thermometer with me, but it definitely was lower than 80. Because my children refused to go back in the water in second time, after they warmed up.
Had the absolute best time here! All the staff is so kind and friendly, very clean establishment, many things to do for families and kids of all ages. Highly recommend water shoes or sandals as the pavement is extremely hot and little shade offered.
Always have a great time at Roaring Springs. Its worth the money but it is pricey. I really recommend having a cooler in your car and getting hand stamped for lunch. $6 for a slice of cheese pizza (no drink) Bring your own water.
Good water park, lines can be long-though reasonable during weekdays. Food a bit overpriced, but staff is friendly. Felt safe, as lifeguards are plentiful.
Had lots of fun with the kid here. Make sure you bring some sort of water shoe. My feet hurt for 3 days after this place. The concrete is rough and unforgiving.
We took our 5 year old and her friend to roaring springs yesterday. The girls were playing in the kids area and going down the slides. My 5 year old little girl is tall for her age and right at 48 inches. All the signs stated 48 inches or less. When the shift change to a male life guard he told my daughter she was too big to be going down the slides. She walked back to us with her head held low and devastated. She was not doing anything wrong. And she was 48 in. Or less. We tried to talk to the lifeguard and he just said nope. She is too tall. There was no reason to make our little girl feel bad and not allow her down the slide. She was not hurting anything.
Lots of fun! My 6 year old got.the best of both worlds, kiddie cove and the big water slides that allow kids over 42 to ride with a taller guest! My kids had a great time!
The best place for family fun in Idaho! Staff are always kind and helpful, park is clean and great food options. Be sure to check out their season pass sale that happens at the end of the summer!
Extremely strict entry policy with no outside food or drinks. We had to go through all our bags and remove kids snacks, etc. Kids have preferences & dont usually like snacks sold in parks like this. They prefer snacks from Japan. They should just make the cost of entry higher instead of pushing this policy.
My favorite two slides were closed, the Cliffhanger and the corkscrew. It was $35 a person to get in, online stated $30. We stayed for about 3 hours got bored and left. Ive had more enjoyable times at the YMCA.
We bought season passes when they were on sale a few weeks ago. Yesterday we went for the first time since we got them. I was pretty disappointed that two of the slides with shutdown, they appeared to be running and functioning still, so Im not sure why they were not in use. I was also disappointed in the fact that there was only one entrance to the lazy river. I understand it is because of covid-19, however it kind of defeats the purpose of ensuring people keep a 6-foot distance between others, when everyone is entering and exiting at the same entrance. It was not like someone was counting how many people were in the river at once, all the other entrances were just blocked off. The employees at the top of the couple slides I did go to were very friendly, and the kids had a lot of fun
Horrible experience. They shouldn’t be back open in a pandemic as they cannot manage social distancing in their overcrowded park. It’s not being enforced at all and is a completely unsafe environment. They say they’re at 50% capacity and yet the parking lot was completely full. Also, beware booking a cabana for slide night and read the fine print. It looks like it’s from 6-10, but is actually 830-10pm.
Great family fun place. There are doing a good job during the pandemic too. I felt safe taking my kids there and everyone had a blast.
I took my grandkids to Roaring Springs and was not allowed to go inside unless I paid or walked around with this goofy visitor sign for 15 minutes. Please design a shaded area for visitor to stay and watch without entering the park. I would pay for a cabana if I could just stay and watch and not have to stand in long lines for a 20 second ride.
The park itself is very fun 5 stars. Fun rides, nice pools and other attractions. The swimming lessons are 1 star, which is the reason for the 3 star rating. The teachers are just life guards with minimal training and no real skill or experience in teaching swimming. They are a very expensive way to swim in their pools for 30 minutes.
Better than the beach and cleaner. Great for kids and a season pass is a must. Wait lines move quickly and are shorter than youd find at the fair!
This is a wonderful place for family fun! Especially during these hot summer months. The negative side of this is they ask that people stay 6 feet apart, and yet they place all of the chairs right next to each other and do not limit the amount of people that go into the water park. This is the only thing that was not so good. We went on the weekend so the place was PACKED. Im just saying that if you are worried about social distancing than you may want to space the chairs out and limit how many people can enter. Also, the prices are insanely high.
Great place. Family friendly. Good safety protocol for COVID-19, but not overbearing.
Tons of fun for the whole family! They have many slides and pools that both kids and adults can enjoy alike. There is also a kiddy area for toddlers. Childrens life jackets are provided free throughout the whole park.
Great huge water park to spend a day at with family!! They are also doing a fantastic job of safety during covid. Well definitely be returning!
The lifeguards seem stuck-up. I would not recommend going if you are over 250 (even if youre a pound over) one of the lifeguards told me even if you are a pound over you still cant go. They take your weight at the top of the slide in front of everyone and have big lights above the scale so if its green youre good if its yellow for two people youre all so good but if youre going by yourself yellow is bad and you cant go and red means that you cant go down at all. If you have a bad experience dont call because theyll make it seem like its your fault even if they did something wrong. This was my first experience and my last
So happy with our local waterpark! Great for all ages. Clean and Fun!
The park was neat and clean with decent attractions but they force you to stand in a freight scale and display your weight to all around. If you are over they send you on a walk of shame. I am not sure I should have paid for the treatment I received.
This was my first job 7 years ago! Such a fun place to work as a lifeguard for minimum wage when 16 years old. But wow they are REALLY out to get your money!!! Also, anyone who thinks this is safe during a pandemic deserves to get the virus. Schools should be open before a public pool is and schools arent open for a damn reason. I feel bad for the children whos parents dont care about their kiddos health. Although not surprised by the company and the people that run it... What a shame.
Fun location on a week day in the fall or spring, but can be really populated on the weekends or any hot day in the summer.
Although I really enjoy going to this water park, there are a few things that I dont care for. When or if you go, go with an even number group, in case you have to be split up. Although I get the weight thing (because physics) I think its kinda dumb. My brother wasnt able to ride on any of the rides by himself because he was barely over the limit and he couldnt go double because the two peoples weight combined was always too much. So he could only go on three rides which was kind of a bummer, especially since he couldnt even try out the new one. Other than that, the park is well staffed and can entertain for hours.
We had a good time, but this place could use a face lift.
Absolutely packed and no pandemic safety measures at all. Very poorly done and a complete lack of any care for customers. This was a very poor experience
Great selection of water activities. Any age can have a blast for hours. Lifeguards everywhere and watching diligently.
They are doing a wonderful job helping to keep everyone safe. Bravo to all those hard working young adults at Roaring Springs! We had a blast for 7 hours!!!
So much fun. Well done COVID changes made our family feel safe. Great slides.
The female life guards wear skimpy cheeks out suits, my 4yr old got an eye full plus several women in the toddler area had regular suits on but pulled the bottoms up you know where. Yes! you have a rocking bod but please dont show it off in the toddler area please.
Had a great time with the kids. They were so nice and they had great gluten free options including yummy pizza.
As someone who has worked there for the last 3 summers as a lifeguard, I’ve seen a lot. Us as employees do everything we can to make sure the park is kept clean, make sure everyone is safe and also to make sure people are enjoying themselves. Yes I agree the food is way too overpriced but I’ve also seen some say the lifeguards are trash which I disagree with and I’m not saying that because I am a lifeguard. We work hours among hours in the heat and spend so much time outside the park hours to train and keep our licenses up to date to make sure everyone is safe. Yes there can be improvement but just because there’s one or two bad experiences with lifeguards, doesn’t mean it’s always like that. Also the reason we have you take shoes off on the slides is because we don’t want you to have your foot get caught on the side of the slide cause that can cause injuries unless the tube is made for you to sit in with your feet inside like Thunder Falls, Avalanche and mammoth canyon. Saying we aren’t family friendly is also very demeaning. We have rules for a reason and yea it may seem unfair that you can’t have your child in your lap in the wavepool but that’s to keep you two safe in case the waves flip the tubes over. I promise they are there for a good reason.
Went on July 6 of opening. Totally not safe. Places like this is why cases of covid are rising totally unsafe. These places should be shut down. I don’t know what I was thinking this place would be safe. There is no way to safely distance yourself in this place. If someone has a virus every one will have it by ends day.
Excellent water park for families. Plenty to do for all ages, great value buying the multi park pass. The other park has great go karts and water bumper cars, plus great Lazer tag. They let you bring backpacks and water bottles into park. There are lockers to rent, but expensive but worth it. Food is ok. Park is nice and clean and the staff was very friendly. Plan to arrive early as parking lot fills up.
It was a good place but they could have someone to check the batheing suite cuz its a family thing and there is alot of kids there and some batheing suitez that some people had on was not right
Very refreshing, food was expensive,I was expecting more in the gift shop.I can totally see how God make fun and exciting things for Hes children to do.
Went yesterday, wanted to give a little advice. Due to covid they are practicing social distancing so thats nice. What isnt is they have you wait in line on the concrete, with no tents or anything for shade. So you bake. Wait time averaged about 40 mins in the sun. Even the lazy river had a long line. Tubes are free to use which was nice. I figured they would have to be rented. If you are in line and have a different colored tube, go get the right one. We waited in line for an hour only to be told we couldnt go down a slide with our tubes because they were yellow, not blue. No difference except the color. So we were made to walk down the stairs, not able to social distance. Not allowed to just ride down. Unacceptable. Also, the lockers that fit two peoples things and are 12 dollars. (!!!!) If there is three people its more. Cash accepted only at entry. Seen people just take their clothes and other belongings and throw them on picnic tables which evidently, is accepted. So save your money on a locker. Signs to rides are confusing. Just some insight. For three people it was 80 bucks on a monday for admission. and thats with the 10 discount each.
Very clean, polite staff and lifeguards. Lots of great rides. There were a few slides not running, not clear why, but a bit disappointing.
Its so nice. I love knowing that I can have fun for hours.
It was a little different because of covid. They limited the number of people in the wave pool and endless river. But the lines werent bad and they were a blast.
Roaring Springs is an amazing water park where you can have fun with friends and family! They have all kinds of rides and new ones too! Definitely the best water park I have been to.
Long lines, eh food, eh service, but really fun with a group of friends. Packed to the brim but it’s because the city has grown to quick for this to be the only water park. Props for doing this well at such capacity
Way over-priced and it most definitely needs a face-lift... Theres no social distancing here at this place so enter at your own risk! Cesspool for covid 19
Hard to go wrong with a place like this! We had a great day even though it was interrupted by a couple of little boys who decided to be rude to my wife. The security team was responsive and handled the situation immediately.
Great fun, but a little bit of a pain. You can have a solid 4 hours of non-stop fun, but after that youve kinda done everything. The biggest issue, though, is the pain on the feet. Between the rough, non-slip surfaces and the blisyering heat, expect your feet to be painfully raw before long. Other than that, its great.
They said I had to wear a mask after I already payed they made me go all the way back in the line and buy a dollar mask and I got in and not even employees were wearing masks Im very upset I believe I was judged by my Tattoos they did make the people behind me wear a mask this is very unprofessional. If you are covered in tattoos expect to be treated less than.
Very well ran and maintained through covid19. Thank you for all your hard work
This is easily the cleanest, friendliest, and well-staffed water park we have ever been to. If we lived in the area we would definitely have a season pass.
Bought my family of 4 tickets and a cabana. Had lunch and snacks, spent well over $300 for a day with the family to be accused by an employee that I didn’t pay for the cabana. After proving with my receipt that I had no sorry or nothing, like I was an inconvenience to them.Horrible experience
All the rides were clean and well maintained. The staff was helpful and friendly, to a (wo)man. Its a great place for an afternoon with the fam.
Really hot on your feet! Needs rubber mats or something if you cant wear shoes.
This place is awesome but, I’m not sure if they are open the hours say they open soon. And I don’t know if that is true or not. I would like them to update the hours if someone thinks the hours are wrong, right away. Because, That’d be awesome.
Hard to get around due things being roped off but we had a good time
It’s extremely expensive to get in no matter what, then once you do get in food is way overpriced. Ok selection of slides and activities, however they are adding new ones every year. Not my cup of tea. Wahooz next door is a little cheaper and way more worth it for families.
Terrible. They were doin an awful job with social distancing and lied about capacity on their website. When we arrived, it was completely packed, yet the website said that they were at 50% capacity. We paid for a cabana from 6-10 online, and when we got there they said that we couldn’t get in the cabana until 8:30. They lied on their website and the employees were awful at maintaining social distancing between the guests, making it an overall terrible experience. Would not recommend, will not come again.
I love roaring springs, but I have already gone on all the rides so there is not as much to do.
It was the best thing ever but the works did not Care there were like a wall
Just plain good fun. plenty of slides and a good lace to chill with friends and family.
It is very fun but, they say that it closes at 8pm but they started closing early. I shouldve got what i wanted to pay for, I was going to stay tye hole day but instead they closed 2 hours early!
They are doing a great job with keeping everyone safe, the food services are being appropriate and cautious. We had a great time and folt good about our experience during this Covid-19 period.
Ah, Roaring Springs. During COVID, its an interesting dichotomy to keep health safety and fun a balance, and whether you view it as a good or bad thing, Roaring Springs definitely prefers fun. The only COVID measures are to check temperature at the door, and theres only one lazy river entrance to monitor the amount of people. Thats it. Theres certain social distance policies reccomended but they arent enforced and no one does them. New ride is great though!
Great experience. Friendly staff, good prices, and most importantly, clean!
It was a great place to be with the homies, and even my family when we all go, nice rides and great help when needed. Definitely a place to go again.
Great staff, great service, great fun. I highly recommend coming with friends and family.
The best local attraction to take the kids. Theres also stuff to look at :)
Springs water park your staff are doing so awesome keeping everyone safe it up on your work there is one problems you guys next year you guys open your park you need to fix your Conn Creek you need to put something in when the sun you need to put a something on your conn Creek to keep it cool down for your gust to walk on your conn Creek with there bear foot because each time we walk on it all the park it is too hot to walk on Conn Creek the bear foot all the your gust burn our foot on your conn Creek all the time and you got me some blister on my foot today at your place you need to do something to keep us save with walking on your conn Creek in the park so please read this comment this will you keep your gust keep going to your place that will make us save there on our bear foot going inside your park I am trying to pont that issue in your park so we can keep coming back plus your employees are really doing a fanatic job tell your owner about this problem so it makes feel better on our bear foot walking around your park and staying in line too keep it every employee!
Yesterday was my daughters first day in the park she is 5. She is 48 inches tall and very shy. In the small child section, that does post children must not be over 48inchs is where we began our day. My daughter and her friend were playing and having fun. My wife evan asked the lifeguard if it was ok for her to be on the slides. Shortly after a shift change of lifeguards my daughter and her friend went up the stairs to go down the slide and my daughter came down in shock she had been kicked off the ride. My wife tried to reason with the young boy, but he is a bully. My daughter did nothing wrong, and he went out of his way to shame her.
Always something for me to do. People watching along the endless river is my favorite.
My wife and the kids and I all went to Roaring Springs for the first time this year. We got there later in the day due to having to work but planned on staying till they closed. My wife had to leave after being at Roaring Springs for an hour, but was only gone for about 45 minutes. Before she left, I gave her the receipt just in case she needed it to get back in. While she was gone for 1 hour, she had washed her hands once and used hand sanitizer (due to covid she is extra cautious). Once she got back to Roaring springs her stamp had washed off, well luckily she brought her receipt, at least thats what we thought. They would not let her in and our only choice was to buy another ticket or to leave. Well obviously we are not going to pay twice for the same person, so they made our whole family leave and ruined the rest of our night JUST BECAUSE she was being extra cautious to help do her part by washing her hands and helping keep the community safe. This is horrible customer service. Moral of the story, if you want to follow roaring springs policies, dont wash your hands if you leave, and your receipt means nothing
Very friendly staff amd well run park. My kids had a blast.
This place has many excellent rides for people of every age and tolerance lol. The lazy river was my favorite. Will be coming back for sure.
For water park options in the treasure valley this is the place to be. It can be crowded but given its the only major watermark around it deserves 4 stars in my book. Hopefully they are able to expand the park east where there had been an empty dirt lot for years. The food options are not healthy and the prices can be steep.
Roaring Springs used to be my favorite place to go, but now they completing changed it and you have to stand six feet apart waiting in line, and there didnt use to be a line for the wave pool or the lazy river.
Great time thank you for doing everything to keep it open
