So relaxing and fun. Love the observation towers. Only need to be aware of sun protection as much of the area is open and no shade.

I come here about 3-4 times/week either while running or with the kids. The kids love the new kids area by the small tower. Lots of stuff to climb and explore. Trails are beautifully manicured. The staff has made a ton of beautiful improvements this year.

We picnicked here for Fondys Farm Dinner at the end of August as all of us needed to stay socially distant due to Covid-19. We drove to a parking area and walked with our Crate and Barrwl picnic table, low camp chairs, the meal and cooler of drinks. We were in the middle of beautiful wildflowers, the weather was perfect! Very idyllic!

This was something I just happened to drive by one day and instantly made me curious. When I finally visited this place I loved it. Decent trails going in different directions and theyre long. Viewing towers. A nursery right when you pull in. Lots of little plaques with information about the types of plants, insects, and animals. And the best part, you can bring your dog. Definitely will be making this one of my go to dog walking places

I love this place! Absolutely beautiful in the spring, fall, and especially summer. Perfect size for a ≥1 hour walk depending on the paths you take. The lookout tower is a perfect feature there, at the heart of open fields and sparse forests. On clear days, you can even see the U.S. Bank building downtown Milwaukee through the telescopes at the top. The tower goes up maybe four or five stories so be sure not to trip going on the stairs!
