Great place for walking the dog. No structures in the Glen, but ample firm parking and broad paths mowed amongst the trees. Can be muddy in spots when wet.
Garrisons Glen was created as a memorial for a local child who died. It’s a beautiful park with 2 main parts...each has its own small road that leads into a small parking area. The more visible site is great for short hikes. Theres a great path which leads you around the area. The second area is very close by...the 2nd road is a little further west on Pioneer Road. It wasn’t finished as early as the first section which is one reason it isn’t as well known. Theres a boat landing for small boats like kayaks and a local fisherman told us it’s a popular fishing hole.
Not a ton of trails. Not sure what I was expecting, but this wasnt it
Beautiful location.
Fine primitive park for a stroll, path needs a mow
Nice little walk.
