Enjoyable and entertaining... very lovely local theater... one can feel the love of the arts and theater in the walls. The new expansion plan will only add to the wonder of this upcoming 100th year celebration.. MAMA MIA was hit! Talent to the max.

We had so much fun! We went to see A Christmas Carole and the whole production was great! You can tell the actors really enjoy playing their parts. They made me want to laugh and cry and had me really into the story. It was a packed night but all of the staff was very friendly and helpful. We sat second row from the stage I thought it would be too close but it was awesome! The set looked awesome, they really did a spectacular job setting the scene. They had a part tho where a smoke machine was letting off a lot of smoke and some of the people sitting up front started coughing because it was coming straight to our faces. Other than that, it was perfect! We really enjoyed ourselves and glad we made it while we were in Memphis! Good for a date or family outing!

Programs Creative Aging for Senior citizens are excellent. Small admission fee $5 to see outstanding live stage performances. The center is currently closed for a huge renovation until the 2020 Fall season.

A medium sized theater with all the fun. Moving floor parts was a surprise. Show advertised and sold to the wrong crowd with no warning. 5 year olds were afraid of the Christmas Carol. Not enough restroom for school groups.

One of the best theatres to watch live shows at....Period. True amateurs in that you can tell they love their craft. If youve never seen a show at Theatre Memphis you are seriously missing a great time.

Nice theater! Top notch performance also. The theater is very nice and our seating was very comfortable. They are featuring a great list of shows! The play we saw tonight was very well done. They have a bar that is open before the show begins and at intermission. They plan to expand the theater at the beginning of this next year.

This place is great. Very intimate and every seat is a good one. They are expanding parking and bathrooms soon!! Yay.

I went to see Cats with friends on Halloween. Cool idea but it wasnt my favorite play. Maybe because Im not a cat lover. I do give props to the cast for powering through loss of power and no microphones. They really did a great job. I did enjoy my first visit to this theater. Although they are closed for renovations now for several months I do think you should go when they re-open. I thought it was nice like it was but many folks were excited about renovations (i.e. more bathrooms!).

A Christmas carol is a yearly tradition in Memphis for over 40 years interpreted exactly as the author Charles Dickens intended. Beautiful singing and traditional customs.

It was extremely busy and a packed house but we had great service from friendly staff and enjoyed the performance greatly. I highly recommend going when you can.

Great play tonight, A Few Good Men, and Stephen Kasloff was outstanding as the Captain (the military Judge). He was very convincing as a judge! We really enjoyed the play, and all the actors did a great job.

Great show! From the set to choreograph to vocals they was an in impressive performance! Comfortable seating! Looking forward to the next time.

Well designed seating means even upper area is close enough to the stage for a great experience. Helpful staff.

The best performing arts theatre in memphis.

Nice venue that is about to undergo a renovation that should make it even better. The show was only $5 because of a senior special that they were having although you didnt have to be a senior to get the lower cost. It is handicapped accessible although I didnt check the access myself. I saw many seniors with mobility issues of all types at the show including one on a stretcher accomodated comfortably. As the shows change I am not reviewing that aspect. Hope this helps.

Worst show ever. Poor acting exceeded only by poor writing. Facility was very nice though. Look forward to seeing a better show there. The Clean House doesnt even deserve one star.

Outstanding performance of A Christmas Carol! We had our 4 kids (from 4-13 years old) and they all loved it. Great acting, great sets, great audio/ lighting, and a cast that appeared to truly enjoy what they do! Well definitely be back for more!

I had never been before so I didnt know what to expect. The actors were great and I was impressed with the set, stage, lighting used throughout the show. It was a great place to introduce my kids to theatre shows.

Attended opening night of 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Best night of musical theatre practically of my life. Show is clever and fast-paced, very professionally done. Get tickets while you can, cuz when word of mouth ramps up, they will be hard to get!!

Daytime performance of Christmas Carol was great! The kids seemed to enjoy it and the actors were wonderful!
