The playground has a lot of shade for sunny days and a great view of the Indian River and boats leaving/entering the marina. There are plenty of picnic tables under pavilions.You can also often see dolphins fishing and a variety of marine life.

I love this park. Sometimes I take the dogs there for a nice walk, sometimes we just go to sit and watch the boats going in and out at the ramp or catch some dolphins &/or manatees swimming by.Today we went fishing. We very rarely catch anything ( wrong bait perhaps) but we always enjoy ourselves.I definitely recommend this park!

Nice park, boat ramp currently under construction. This property is on the point of land with easy access to the water/river. The boat ramp is still being rebuilt and is expected to be completed in early 2020. This means that there is no trailer access at this time. The grounds are well kept. There are several covered pavilions with tables and a set of restrooms on the grounds and the water is easy access for kayaks and paddleboards. There is limited parking while construction is underway. Overall, nice park with limited access.

Pretty little park with many small and a large Pavilliond and fenced playground. Tucked between canal and river. Enjoyable.

If you prefer a completely fenced in AND shaded park this is it! Was nice to sit in the shade and chat with other parents while not sweating to death. Knowing the kids couldn’t accidentally wander outside of the area was great, too.

Nice playground. Excellent views of the Eau Gallie Rive, Indian River, and boat traffic, and theres lots of space. Plenty of trash cans, and the area is quite clean.

Always a pleasant place to visit! Depending on time of day you will find a great deal of people or not many at all. Playground for kids. Basketball and tennis courts. Lots of room for birthday parties! Right on the water! Great for fishing! Boat docks currently closed for remodel until Feb 2020.

We went to the play ground with my Granddaughter. Love that it was all fenced in. Large area with lots of things for them to do. We will be back!

Great park for shallow water play as well as boat launch, pavillions(reservaible-call # ) and fishing for drum, sheephead, whiting. If your good, reds too. Lots of parking for trailered vehicles. Shaded benches for watching the people and birds play.

Very Serene with a wonderful view of the Lagoon, there are usually a lot of ibises and wood storks, people fishing and having a good time, quiet place in the middle of Melbourne.

Shady in a good way, and I saw a dolphin

This is a very nice city park. There are good facilities here, including tennis and basketball courts, a playground, a large picnic area underneath a canopy of trees, and public restrooms. There is also a public boat ramp with access to the Indian River, and good parking for isolated picnic tables from which to view boat traffic or fish from the shore (watch for occasional dolphins!), for both around the park (water on two sides) and the Indian River (which at this point is well over a mile wide!). The only hit I have here is the need for a second restroom facility.The park is open from sunrise to sunset daily, except for the boat ramp, which is open 24/7/365. The park is owned and maintained by the City of Melbourne Parks & Recreation Dept.

Lovely place for family to have a cookout and for boaters to launch their boats. Equipped with tennis courts basketball and rest rooms. It is a small park though and you may want to check it out on the GPS map before going. One other note their pet friendly however they do ask that you pick up after your pet.

Clean for municipal road parks. Easy access. 6 picnic table pavilion many other single tables with roof all have byo charcoal typical grills.Boat launch ramp. Well kept grounds indoor rest rooms with running water. Shore fishing close to picnic tables and pavilion. Dogs welcomed.

Very nice park. I was here because my son got invited to a birthday party. It was really nice and the weather was perfect. The only problem is that it is hard to find a parking spot.
