The up keep at this park is REALLY compared to the sport fields and other parks in Massillon. Mos t times they mow part of it and then the next week they mow another part. I actually take them about 3 weeks to mow and NO trimming or flower beds being cared for. The play ground equi[ment is poorly maintained . There might be 2 swings at the corner of Walnut and 6th and the Baby swings maybe 1. The city is allowing the gangs and drug dealers to take over.

Used the clubhouse all was ok except bathrooms were unclean and unkept. And the huge chunks of asphalt millings in the parking area are dangerous not only for walkers (my wife rolled her ankle on one) but also could cause vehicle damage.

The place is in a bad area of town and park needs to be cleaned up

Had our family reunion here. We had a beautiful day, so everyone was able to sit outside. We did have a shelter if it rained. Good place to gather with a crowd.

Please always keep that kiddy pool open! My kids love going there every summer! ️

So i grew up in this town and like i many Ive moved away. It great to come back and see the still have the kiddy pool i spent summers in as a child,the outdoor pavilion i spent my teen years and the indoor pavilion i rented for my graduation party almost cried typing this! #TIG-ERS

Probably one of the best parks in the city. Theres play equipment, swing sets, and bathrooms with multiple stalls. In the summer the swimming pool is open to children. Theres an indoor pavilion for parties and an outdoor pavilion that did have electrical outlets (not sure if they still work). Parks Dept. does a great job with upkeep. Its close to the main highway, stores and it is right next to the Boys and Girls club.

Had a granddaughter birthday party there and got some great pine cones

Been going to this park almost my whole life. It has lots of history and memories and fun for the whole family.

Surprised at what a nice venue this was! Perfect for any last minute get together. The building was large and kept at a nice temperature. Beautiful stone fireplace inside.

The pool was great for my young kids to cool off in. The life guard was super friendly. The restrooms were not usable, they were overflowing with waste.

Nice little park. Lots of trees which makes it great in the summer with plenty of shade to stay out of the sun.

Its a cute little park with plenty of trees for shade.. There is places for children to play and a public bathroom.. You can have a party if you want.. they have 1 covered place with plenty of tables in it

Great place to hold an event

This park is a great place to have a day of fun with the family. The kiddie pool, with a life guard is perfect for the hot weather. The park has many trees so it is shaded. There is a pavilion along with a indoor center that can be rented all year round.

Open and shaded area thats great in the summer. This is a decent park but not one a would consider good for long amounts of time or day trips.

Great city park

Was a more pleasant experience than I expected. Enjoyed an open space and a nice little place to eat food.

3 stars as it is a nice park and the wading pool is great. Deducted 2 stars because the playground is not safe. Holes in the metal grating and poorly maintained. Contacted several offices about fixing over the years and get ignored.

The park has some nice trees, playground equipment, kiddie pool, a decent pavilion, and even a large building that can be rented to host parties, but the surrounding neighborhood and the individuals the park and the neighborhood attract are its downside.

1st of all its free and a great kiddie pool and little playground.. Just wish the adults could swim too!

Nice park. Shame Massillon refuses to fix or update the playground. The crackheads and meth addicts are a bit of a turn off as well.
