Cottell Park

I love to walk here. The park is very well maintained with the cleanest public restrooms i have ever seen. There is a wonderful play area and lots of activities for kids as well as a very nice pond fully stocked with wildlife. I walk here 3 or 4 times a week on their sidewalk that borders the park and equals 1 mile. There are markers on each side that tell how far youve gone so its really easy to plan your workouts.

I went in mid August, so it was at late bloom cycle.. but it is good place to visit once. People take photos with sunflower, nearby other playing fields are present. No eateries around.

Beautiful little gem of a park nestled on the corner inbetween 2 nice neighborhoods. It has a large playground, a walking trail around a small pond, as well as a veterans memorial. My kids love coming here. I have also had luck catching small bass, bluegill, and an occasional carp. I highly recommend this place.

This is very nice park. Has two play areas, fishing ponds, tennis court, basketball court, baseball fields and soccer field. Also has 1Mille loop for walk/run. Always clean and well kept.We go there all the time.

Have done this with my kids since they were little. Lots of pics. Great family memories.

Oh whats not there to love about this place? Great views, awesome surroundings and super beautiful scenery! I have visited this park more than 30 times now as I live near by and it has never bored me. Its definitely a 10/10 for this park.

The playground is wonderful. Two sections, for younger and older kids. This park also has a peaceful lake, good restrooms, and shaded picnic tables. Ample parking and easy access.The park also offers basketball, tennis, and walk/run paths.

Cool place to visit during the dog days of August. The sunflowers are in bloom and are beautiful.

Were there for a baseball game. The parking lot is a little close for comfort, risks fly ball damage. But overall the park itself was really nice! Had a neat little one when a fountain and path.

Family friendly, lots of great outdoor options. Always a win with our family. Well maintained.

Excellent park around Cincinnati area. This has huge walking space around and also great spots for sports activities. I prefer this park best for flying kites during windy season. The ambience is great and park is well maintained. There are sufficient parking space around the park. This is closest to my house and all time favorite park especially in spring and summer.

Just opposite the park is a sunflower field and it blooms in august. Perfect for photography.

Peaceful place for a morning or evening walk. Good view for a sunrise and set across a small water bed. Ample running space and good space for kids to play around. Also you can find tennis courts, basket ball and soccer courts

First time visiting this park. We stopped to visit the sunflowers across the street, but we stayed and played for a while. This is a great place to visit for families.

The park was very clean and had plenty of space to go for a walk. We swang and the equipment all seemed new. There was also a snowcone truck parked there AND theres a sunflower field across the street.

This park is really good for toddlers, kids and adults. The park has two different play areas for children ages 2-5 years and 5-12 years. It has restrooms, picnic area as well. There is a beautiful lake around which has a walking trail. Location is convenient and has sufficient parking spaces. In summertime you can check for lots of fun and family activities/events. There is a fishing pond too for those having valid fishing license.

Great little park, very photogenic especially if you happen to catch the sunflowers in bloom. Word of advice for the flowers - try to come out while the sun is overhead or still in the east because the flower heads droop and face the ground once the sun starts setting.

Nice location with a sunflower field adjacent to it. The park features a lake with an island in the middle. I’ve seen people fishing in the lake, no idea what kind of fish is there. There are some beautiful wrought-iron benches near the lake.

Great place. Always busy though. Make sure to bring your camera during sunflower season and take some pictures in the sunflower field across the street.

The baseball fields are very nice. Brick crush dries fast and is properly maintained by the grounds crew.

The sunflowers are across the street from the park I love the park you just have to make sure the kids dont run towards the water feature near the park its beautiful bathrooms are clean water fountains are working

This park is very close to our heart as we go there on every chance we got. It has a great play area for kids and a well kept walking area. Bathrooms are always clean and accessible. Great place for pets too.

Just came across this place few days ago. They have a nice running / walking track around the park which is approximately 1 mile, pretty good size for running. They also have soccer fields, open fields and children playground. I have seen people walking with their dogs as well so there is that. Overall a pretty nice place to do lots of things.

Look at the aerial view before you go. It looks like endless sunflowers from everyones pictures, in reality its less than a football field

Came to see the field of sunflowers across the street from the park and stayed for the fun. Beautiful park which had a small pond with ducks, a set of swings, and a few different play structures under a canopy of shade, and our girls favorite, a water mist tower which they used to cool off.

A serene and beautiful nature walk. Its a very large park and has many options for walking paths. Recommend all year round since weather in Cincinnati is not as cold.

One of our most favorite playgrounds.. especially when the sunflowers are in full bloom just across the street! Well maintained area in a nice safe neighborhood. So many things to climb and swing on. My grandson loves this playground!

Went to see free concert of Comet Bluegrass All Star. Very nice and price was right.

Love the park...well kept and clean...the fishing pond, running track, kids playground, bathrooms, covered picnic area...baseball, basketball and soccer fields...and in the Spring, you get a view of the famous Natorps Sunflower Fields!

This park is gigantic! And the fact that it has a combination of sport fields as well as a playground and general open grassy space is wonderful. Overall the fields are well maintained and there is always at least a few parking spaces as available

Fun place to go

I love this park! I have gone here to let my girls play at the playground and the equipment is well maintained and the park is nice. There are walking trail and restrooms that are well maintained too! Plenty of parking and picnic tables. I recommend!

This is a fantastic park with a long walking/running path, a pond, tennis courts, soccer fields, a house available for events, picnic areas, and two nice play areas with modern equipment. Great place for a wide variety of recreational activities!

This is a great Park with plenty of play opertunities for kids of all ages to play. The Walk around the lake is nice too. There are other areas to walk too with your pet too . My granddaughter likes to climb on the big rock and my grandson likes all the slides.

Nice park with plenty of space to move around. Theres a nice, paved path that circles around the park and is almost exactly 1 mile. There are also a couple of playgrounds and plenty of grassy space for soccer. Only thing missing is a few more trees for shade throughout the park.

My family loves this place. Perfect for a walk. Kids playground is great. Even a quick cookout is even great for this place

It is really beautiful here, the sunflower field is big and colorful. By the side there’s another field with dead sunflowers.If you go during de morning, before noon, the weather is great, and during the sunset the field looks amazing!

Very peaceful.

It is a nice, clean park. It does have a little pond with some ducks, a nice sidewalk to walk or run around the park, and a nice play area for the kids. The sunflowers next door is also a bonus. Easy walk from the park.

It has 4 tennis courts. Protected from wind. Also had couple of basket ball courts. And had a big field for baseball games and also big walking trail for running. Two kids play areas are available.

One mile circuit with basquet, tennis and kids area...

The kids love this park. It’s close to home and we go here often.

Nice park with paved walking path, covered picnic tables, ball fields, basketball court, a small pond and 2 different playground areas.

We went for the Easter Egg hunt. It was a well organized event free to the public in a beautiful park.

There are two clean play areas for younger and older kids. Tennis courts, basketball court, baseball field and vast open spaces. The events that happen from time to time are great - you can enjoy music or Shakespeare at the park, or crafts exhibits.

This is a really nice park. I like that the equipment has clearly posted age ranges and the bathrooms were decent with toilet paper and soap (no one likes public bathrooms, but when youre talking about play equipment youre likely hanging out with folks who will need to pee no matter what the bathroom looks like). I was there while Natorps sunflowers across the street were blooming, and they were beautiful.The only bad thing is that the play equipment is in full sun, and Cincinnati summer can be a little intense.
