Very unique place to visit. It is well worth a visit.

Wierd place. Cool story about it. The owner is a great guy that likes to talk to you. Lots of videos on youtube about it being haunted.

I Found this place very unique. It was amazing what Junior had done to this place. He is very nice and has alot of tales to tell. I hope people will take time to go to Greenbsck Tn and see his creation of this fortress castle. He loves to talk to people .Please leave a donation. He has many famous people come see him over the years and also had some bad criticism. Please take lots of pictures and just enjoy whether you believe or not.

This place is huge. You drive up and park, get out, and explore. It feels very magical. Good for kids. Bring bug repellent, its in the woods.

This may have been the creepiest place I have ever been to and I have been a lot of places. Worth the drive to go see but just know when you go inside, you will be creeped out. I would recommend full daylight and with a friend. I really liked it....once I was gone.

This is one of the most interesting and bizarre places I’ve been. I wouldn’t miss it!

A great place to check out. Very interesting with a lot of things to see. What a great imagination has gone into this castle. Next time we will take some things for him to add to it.

The owner of this castle was on site upon arrival and gave us a tour of the place. Very friendly. Some of the architecture is so unique, beautiful and neat experience. Some parts feel like a real castle due to stairways and secret rooms. Newspaper articles posted from over the years to show history and beliefs of community. Would visit again.

This site should be on every spiritual persons list of places to go !!I dont know the gentleman who built the castle but after visiting, I feel like he is undoubtedly in sync with the spirit and universal consciousness, a Brother !! He has gotten older and is having trouble keeping it going both physically and financially .Please, visit and contribute !!He accepts aluminum cans or cash !! Bring some gardening tools and help clean up the castle, PLEASE PLEASE just be respectful of this amazing place !!

Awesome place to go. Guy has been building this for 20+ years. It is a work of art in the shape of a castle and dedicated to eradicating demons. Totally freakin worth the drive to greenback.

This is little hidden Gem in Greenback tn. If your ever driving through during the day you should definitely stop and check it out. Its hard to find Kinda the turn is on the right hand side of the road. No big signs or anything.

Ummmm dont waste your time if you are expecting something grand... Very disappointed . I had read about the castle by Only in your state post. I was excited to see it based on the post... I can appreciate the hard work that someone put into it... But, dont drive out of your way to see it

This place is super cool the old man that built it is still around and you can talk to him is a lot like Salvation Mountain

We always love going to see the castle. My kids get super excited to go all the time and they are teenagers. When we have family come in from out of town we always visit the castle! We have met the lovely man who built it and he is always so super nice and excited that we are there!

My husband and I along with our three young nephews were looking for historic and interesting places to visit and this came up in my search. We found it rather easily, but my husband and I were both concerned with all the strange homemade religious signs leading up to the place. The erratic messages were a bit disturbing. The castle is extremely close to peoples mobile homes and we decided against roaming around someones property. It was very strange to say the least.

Equal mixes creepy and cool. Check it out for yourself. Be aware, the energy is intense.

Tons of tiny details in the building, great day trip for the family. Plus the man who built it came to welcome us.

This place really touched me. You can see the passion that was put into every brick.Stop by and just breathe. You will feel the peace the castle brings.

What an incredible place. Grew up in Greenback and never knew about it. The dedication Mr. banks has to this project is amazing. Tough to find unless you know the area, but worth the journey.

Very unique place. We met the builder and he was very interesting guy.

Unfortunately the owner was not around to give us a tour but it was worth the trip anyway. It is a bit out of the way in the beautiful foothills of the Smokies. This is obviously someones opus and thanks for sharing it with us. So many trinkets have been left behind to be added to this mans story.

The ingenuity of the builder and the absolute terror of the unfinishedness of the castle will amaze you. It is in a remote but beautiful location and worth the drive to wander around and explore.

Awesome place to visit

I went Saturday and was very lucky to meet the owner who is building This Magnificent Castle. He is so sweet and amazing. I would recommend everybody to go visit. And if youre as lucky as I was youll be able to meet him.

Its interesting, but its really just a collection of junk. It seems he likes to put whatever he finds into cement. I was disappointed at how run down the castle is, considering the owner lives onsite and is there almost all the time. I understand hes very old, but if he has the energy to yak on and on to everyone about Jesus and follow us around, he certainly has enough energy to pick up sticks and remove weeds that are growing everywhere. I think the guy is a real nutjob.

Very neat. Some crazy old dude has completely lost his mind and has taken his lunacy out on a dilapidated piece of property. Definitely worth the drive out just to explore for a bit. There was some weird country music playing while my daughter and I were there so we didnt explore the interior much. Ill be going back for sure.

IT WAS NOT WHAT I EXPECTED AT ALL, VERY INTERESTING AND YOU CAN SEE THE TALENT THAT THIS MAN HAS PUT INTO THE ART INVOLVED IN THIS CASTLE. MY FAMILY COMPLETELY ENJOYED WALKING THROUGH AND ADMIRING THE ARTISTIC TALENT. AFTER WE WERE THROUGH HE CAME OUT HIMSELF AND GAVE US A PERSONAL TOUR THROUGH THE CASTLE WITH EXPLANATIONS OF EVERY MEANING OF WHAT WE WERE VIEWING WITH EMPHASIS ON KEY AREAS THAT REITERATED HIS PURPOSE FOR THIS CREATION BY THE DIRECTION OF GOD HIMSELF. VERY BELIEVABLE. ITS WORTH THE EXPERIENCE AND I WOULD GO THROUGH IT AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT.

I loved the beautiful artistry! Before going I was unaware that the man who built and is still building actually stays there. Super nice man. Kinda of creepy but I love stuff like that.

Well, my grandpa built this castle. I literally live right next to it. It is an awesome place to visit. Although it is spooky, it is also beautiful and interesting. I live like right down the driveway from it and It Is absolutely AMAZING! One thing I would like to say though, if you are not religious, you may not like his views. Dont let that ruin your visit. Even if you arent religious, I can promise you that you will enjoy your visit. It is free and you can come any time you want. He has put a donation box up if you have extra change or just want to donate. Though money isnt required, it is highly appreciated. The castle is something that you cant believe until you see it yourself. Come and visit!!! We love people to look and admire the artwork. It is co peltely free

Interesting for sure, weird as can be and the road that takes you up to it is a tiny gravel road through bubba gumps trailer park... I think I heard a pig squeal at one point. The place has you looking over your shoulder expecting a serial killer to be there.

We are visiting from Cincinnati. We had to see the castle and we are glad we did. The elderly man who owns it is eccentric but very nice.

So glad we won’t no tv news! The chawowwow was pretty cool chewing on the beer cans... freaky as hell!!

Not a creepy place at all. I have been here about 5 or 6 times and am just excited to go each time as I was the first. Theres always something new to see at the castle that wasnt there before.Its not the location youd expect. In fact, its built in this guys neighborhood with little houses and trailers all around. Ive met the castle man amd what I assume to be his son a few times. He is very nice and full of information about his inspirations and stories behind the artwork. Theres even a small building on the property that houses the art hes made out of arrowheads. Beautiful and breathtaking, hundreds, possibly THOUSANDS of arrowheads. The crops that are produced in the castle garden are GIGANTIC! Its astonishing!Some of my favorite parts are:-The torture chamber (built to attract people)-The Kings Throne, and also an image of Christ that appeared in the wall that the morning son shines on each day.-A pet cemecemetery-The wishing well-The wall of names-The bedroom with the bed that cures your backpain-Mysterious things you find if you look for them: or: treasure chest full of vintage **** magazines-Makeshift toilet full of feces-Jars with dead fish inside-Handmade arrows-A jar full of lists of names in a room surrounded by dreamcatchersI could go ON!!!Now I want to go visit. Its been a couple years... :)
