Great little movie place. Most of Venue is updated to comfy seats

Its a decent theater. No waiting on line and you can easily get a seat. I do really like that they play minimal previews. Most theaters play previews for 30 minutes. The place could use a refresh and upkeep. It is nice to have a theater in Marietta.

Id love to give 5 stars, but the uncalled for and extreme lack of cleanliness and dank damp smell in the theater and the bathrooms makes it impossible to do so. I will say they have fairly good prices, and they do do a $5 Tuesday for any showing all day, every week. We will probably continue to visit because it is so cheap, however, they definitely do need to step up their upkeep and general cleaning regimen.

I mean its a movie theater. You pay a premium for buttered popcorn and a box of air with a cup of fizz and Ice right? Not for the actual movie.Always clean, entrance is spacious - bathrooms are clean. ( always a plus)The theaters themselves have been redone.I am not a huge fan; it feels a little cramped - could be my big arse or the * get out of my bubble syndrome* I have going on, along with the tilting back of the seats, making me want to smack the head of the unruly teen in front of me when I can see their nose hairs in the wondrous blue light from the projections being displayed on the big screen. Not my idea of a good time.Last two times Ive been there, the temperature was set at 5 degrees below meat locker BUT, that is not always bad when the theaters full. When its not. Grab your Parka and thermal underwear. REGARDLESS. Its not terrible. They take care of their customers; the place is clean.Plenty of space except between the seats! Kid friendly with boosters and what not.As I said when I started this ramble its a movie theater! A decent one Im glad we have

I love this theater. It has new, comfortable chairs without going overboard with recliners etc. like some new theaters. The prices are good. Movie quality is good.

The theater is always really clean. The seats are comfy. I just wish the prices were a little less.

The concession stand pricing is still REALLY high, but the new seating was nice, especially being able to recline and have leg room. Though I do wish they would have the seats you can put the armrest up or down. Also, the theatre I was in, the surround sound was odd, almost made it sound like someone in the theatre was making certain sounds to mock the movie, but it was a blown out speaker, I think.

I love our small town theater. They do a free movie the first Saturday of each month for the kids. And if you are going to go here more than once, definitely get the magic bucket. Then you get $2 popcorn refills for a year. They have booster seats for the kids and each Tuesday the movies are only $5. What else could you ask for?

The movie was great. We went to go see the new Avengers movie. The staff were very Bland and not very friendly.

Workers always friendly, theaters are clean. Love $5 movies on Tuesday.

I like the seating here, its comfortable and each seat has a cup holder. Drinks are cold, popcorn is warm staff has always been friendly even on slammed opening nights.

Yesterday was a great movie. Drinks and snacks are way over priced. 3.99 for 1.00 box of Junior mints.

Good theater. They didnt check my bag for food so thats good. Seats are clean, comfy and recline. Standard tickets are $7 I believe.

Wonderful manners and customer service. The theater was clean and the perfect temperature. I didnt freeze! Bathrooms needed some attention but, really, most public bathrooms do.

Great little theater! I have been going here since I was a kid when it was Regal Cinemas. Never really had any problems with this place all the years I have been going. Reasonable movie prices, good customer service, and the theater was usually always clean.

It a good place to watch a movie

Bathrooms stank, the theater stank, the chairs were uncomfortable. First time going. We are out of towners and it was smelly. Smelled like they had a water leak and everything was musty.

The auditorium l was in was large and had great acoustics. No anomalies with screen. High definition quality picture. Better than Regal Cinema in Vienna WV

Had the audio up too far to truly enjoy the movie.

I love this theater! Wife and I come from Vienna to go here and see movies when we want to go see movies. Regal Cinemas seats arent comfortable and the mall is a joke. At least with this theater you can lounge back, while watching the movie. Bathrooms are clean and I dont mind paying extra for snacks. Plus they have sour straws. However, their popcorn isnt the best thats the only reason why Im giving this 4 stars. Seems like every time we get it it seems stale for some reason, even when they pop it fresh. I dont know if its just its not getting done or if its their brand theyre using. Other than that this theater is great I love it!

Comfortable seats and great movies, what more could you ask for! This theater is perfect for a evening out with friends or a fun date night. There is plenty of parking and seating as well as quality concession. Also the theater is close to a few restaurants and stores for after (or before) movie activities.

I like this place more after the change of ownership. The facilities in general are cleaner and well kept. The seating is new and much more comfortable. Pricing on tickets and concessions are good. I much so prefer this place over the movie theater in Parkersburg Mall. Last time I went over there I walked out because the place was filthy and the AC unit sounded like a tank and couldnt hear the movie. Thank goodness they refunded my 30$ in tickets so that I could go to Odyssey in Marietta to enjoy my evening.The one thing I will say is the popcorn is not good anymore I always loved that movie theater popcorn and it just tastes like cheap butter on plain popcorn anymore its just not the same. Id purchase more concessions every time I go if I knew it would be better. Maybe it will improve. All in all good experience.

After Regal Cinemas left, Odyssey bought this gem up and added new seats AND lowered the prices. The seats feel a little cramped in the arm room category, but I can tolerate occasionally bumping elbows with a friend.Very convenient because its located in Marietta basically right off the interstate. Definitely beats going to the Grand Central Mall and sitting in a weird smelling (Definitely BO) theatre.

Great pricing and friendly staff. There are few theaters left out there you can actually afford to take the whole family out to see a movie so their pricing is family friendly. Only complaint I have is cleanliness, wish they would wash the doors down. They are pretty sticky and dirty. Lots of popcorn fingers ECT.

Staff is very friendly and reliable! I really enjoy going to this theater, and definitely prefer it over the one located at Grand Central Mall, as well as other theaters Ive been in. The prices are very reasonable compared to other places too. Their facilities are well maintained, and the snack bar is great in my opinion!Also, their upgraded seating is divine!

Nice theatre and good service. Seats have been updated which is nice. However, movies and showtimes can be quite limited (3D versions often limited to opening weekends only).

Nice place to see a good movie. Employees seemed courteous. The theaterseating looked new, was spacious and comfortable. Trying to call for any information is tricky. There doesnt seem to be anyone who answers the phone.

Great theater prices are fair and staff is friendly we had advance tickets but dew to an emergency at work I was going to miss the movie my wife called and the management let up use our tickets on the next day very cool of them

Went here in vacation to watch a scary movie with my best friend, and our daughters. It was PERFECTLY SPOOKY and completely comfortable! I love the rocking seats ️

I have never had a bad experience here. I love it ever since they upgraded the seating. Movies here are cheaper than at the mall and I dont mind spending a little more at the snack bar for a great movie. Dave and the crew have always been friendly. If you encounter someone who seems a little off just strike up a pre-movie conversation. Cant wait until tomorrow for Avengers!!!

Have always had a great experience there! Ticket prices are low and the seats are comfortable! They do a free family show every month and I think that showa they care about their customers!

Its ok here but a 350 showing at $7 is high. You are better off going to other theater in Vienna. $0.25 more gets you a way nicer theater with leather power recliners with foot rest.

Fun theater, cheap tickets. They really need to replace the carpet down the main aisle leading to the theater because it has a very unpleasant smell! Raising the ticket price $1 for awhile might be a good plan, or even a fundraiser, since its the only theater in Marietta. Same re: the steps out front, which are crumbling.

Good for Marietta. Many MOVians present, but hey, at least this little river town has a theater. Cheaper than average tix for first-run films, comfortable seats, decent sound. You may want to avoid sitting next to the hillbilly family with their Make America Great Again hats, but otherwise, this little theater gets the job done.

Quiet and pleasant place to catch a movie some chair updates are needed

Im now driving home after once again arriving at the theater on time to watch a movie and not being able to get a freaking ticket because there is no one selling tickets in the Ticket Booth!!!! I refuse to wait in a long line of people getting junk food and making me miss a half hour of the movie. All I want is a ticket and to be on time for my movie!!! Why do I have to be late when you cant have a ticket booth open for my ticket??? I guess Ill choose the mall next time!

Nice, clean, friendly staff, good ac. & FRESH POPCORN. The sound quality of the movie was great. Not so loud that it gave us a headache like the AMC Theater in Columbus did.

Going to the movies here is a lot cheaper than going to the movies in the Parkersburg mall. The seats are much nicer as well. Definitely worth the extra travel time.

The cost of the movie was only $5 on Tuesday night..great deal! Unfortunately, the line to purchase tickets was the same line for concessions. I dont know if this was due to lack of staff. Arrive early and full, and you have got a cheap night of entertainment!!

First impressions.The value is unbelievable in this day in age.This cinema has the most comfortable seats. Almost leather kick back chairs that make the viewing worth driving from Parkersburg to Marietta like we do.

Went to see Star Wars Ep. VII three times and one of the cashiers recognized me. Great customer service, clean, cheap flat rate tickets, and pretty good popcorn.
