Beautiful views of sunset and boats in the water. Drive to the light house is also very picturesque. Go little early for parking space as it is a very popular spot.

Very nice and quiet small park, nice view of the ocean and hundreds of boats. Very few picnic tables, l would say less than ten. Be careful if you are there with kids very rocky steep shore, it could be dangerous for small kids. The Lighthouse is located in the center and it has very small parking lot.

Right at the opening of the Marblehead Harbor. You see lots of all types of boats. Its a nice relaxing place. Parking is limited but worth it. Bring your binoculars!

Always a great place to visit. The houses leading to the park are amazing. Great place to see just after a storm, the waves crash really high. Some benches and covered areas, public bathroom is usually spotless. A fun climb tho the water, but not difficult in some areas. A small parking lot thats sufficient during off peak hours

Fishing here is great, bring the family and spend the day. The rocks and cliffs were a blast to explore and if its warm enough check out the water if youre brave.

Beautiful and quiet place with amazing landscapes and free parking lot. Has tables for picnics and lots of benches in different locations so you could feel isolated and enjoy different views. Could be windy sometimes. Has public restrooms, and bench areas under the roof.

Beautiful place. Sunsets are amazing. Perfect for a getaway from the city. Plenty of seats. Plenty of green for a picnic. View is killer and very refreshing. Restrooms are seasonal and parking can be a problem depending hour/days.

Great destination for a bike ride and/or hike. But important note: No bathrooms! And none anywhere nearby.

I just enjoy this spot. Great place to kick back, walk around a bit, take some pics, squeeze your loved one, have a snack... but I digress. Love the sea spray coming off the bold rocky coastline.

Best view Marblehead has to offer! Bring a picnic. Kick back on one of the many memorial benches and relax and watch boats and kayakers coming into and out of harbor. View of childrens island and another lighthouse located out on Bakers Island. Bring your dog, friends, or significant other to cozy up to as its windy out there!

Chandler Hovey park is a nice venue (with a toilet block) at the end of the island called Marblehead neck on the opposite side of the bay from Marblehead itself. Marblehead Lighthouse is in the park. The lighthouse looks more like an oil derrick than my conception of a lighthouse, but it is in a very pleasant park named after Chandler Hovey who donated the land to the town.The park and or the lighthouse had drawn lots of people simply to sit and stare out at the sea. So we joined them for a little while.

I love this park. I don’t live in town anymore but every time I’m visiting I come here.

Landmark. Marblehead is extremely picturesque and this lighthouse and location are a highlight. From Chandler Hovey park the view to the West includes all of Marblehead Harbor, Abbott Hall, Old North Church and Fort Sewell. To the Northwest is Salem Sound dotted with islands including Bakers Island Lighthouse and closer-by, Childrens Island. To the North and East, open water!This is a great place to watch sunrises and sunsets and sailboat races!

Very nice park by the sea with rocky shore. Lot of benches for relaxing and enjoying the sea view. It hosts a unique light house. The parking is rather small, so it may be a problem during summer season.

This is a wonderful place to go for a picnic. Weather permitting of course. I will always remember the day I saw the Constitution ship sail around the harbor there.

I like eating in my car here or having a picnic. This is also a great place to scuba dive or look for intertidal animals at low tide.There is a lighthouse and bathrooms (open seasonally).Sometimes people dont pick up their pet waste, be careful of that.
