Superb tour. The house is amazing, but our guide was even better than the house! Made for a very memorable trip to Marblehead!

If you love big Georgians like we do, this is a must see. The house, the wallpaper, and the collections are all mesmerizing, and our tour guide, Betty, was an absolute delight.

I didnt know who Jeremiah was until I visited his house. I enjoyed getting to know him through his expansive mansion. The property and grounds are beautifully maintained and the tour guide knew almost as much about early American history as my history-buff Love did.

Nice little bit of history! They only let you see the 1st Floor. But nice.

We came here for an event--the Teddybear Tea Party--and fell in love with this beautiful house and its stunning gardens. The gardens were a highlight for me. They have their trees and herbs clearly marked and a thoughtful pamphlet on the historic significance and usage of each plant.

What a beautiful and interesting piece of history to visit if ever in the area. It was an unexpected surprise for my girlfriend and I. A little hidden treasure we discovered while exploring Marblehead and other outlying areas surrounding Salem, Massachusetts... also our guide was so very friendly!

After a very disappointing visit to the House of the Seven Gables in nearby Salem, we decided to give the Jeremiah Lee Mansion a shot, and the experience could not have been more difficult. We were welcomed into the house, advised that a tour had just started (they were still in the first room), and given the choice of joining them in progress or waiting for the next tour. Since they had just started, we went ahead and joined them. The guide was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the house and its inhabitants, and carried with her a notebook which she referred to a couple times to make sure she was giving correct answers to some of the more unusual questions. The guided tour lasted more than an hour, and our guide was happy to stay to discuss the house and answer questions beyond that time. If youre interested in a great tour of a marvelous old house in remarkable condition, I cant recommend the Jeremiah Lee Mansion strongly enough!
