If you plan to audition for a show and are new just take note: they precast their shows. However they do a good job putting them on. Just wish they didn’t cast the same 10 people constantly and would give other actors a chance to show their work

Ive taken clay classes, learning to use the potters wheel and I am a member of the watercolor group that meets on Wednesday morning. Photos are from a recent workshop. I enjoy the atmosphere of creative energy.

Wrap It Up is always fun at Christmas time!

The plays are extremely high quality in terms of sets, performers and the performance itself. The seats are comfortable. The entire experience is a great time for all. Have to mention the annual New Years party. Great music, food, drinks, and activities. The hall is always decorated with amazing art to the theme enhancing the whole experience. Great place.

They have some wonderful shows put on here. Its a smaller theatre, so the shows are more intimate and you can sometimes be on the stage depending on the shows seating setup. Theres also a nice little art gallery located to the left of the theatre.

Wonderful performances and a nice Art Gallery. Its always enjoyable to attend performances at MAC and considerably cheaper than Topeka, Salina or McCain Auditorium at KSU.

West Side Story performed by local talent. Great dancers and singers

I have seen two productions here. Evita and Pirates of the Curry Bean. Both were absolutely amazing. They were well produced with talented actors and actresses. The facility is stunning.

Manhattan does have some culture for a small town. The Arts Center was originally a grocery store and through a great turn of events it provides a place for civic theatre to flourish and great performers to put on their shows. Local artists also display artwork of different types for sale in the galleries - if you are looking for a painting or photograph, maybe a sculpture for your home or a gift - you can find it at the Manhattan Arts Center!

Very nice place for relaxed evening to enjoy high quality live performances at a pretty good price. Overall atmosphere is comfortable, clean and does not feel overcrowded even though it is not a large facility.

The Arts center does what it does with volunteers. Each play or event brings pride to the community.

Cute, small theatre, and the actors put on a good show, but the staff werent very welcoming. Recommend sitting center rather than on the side unless you want a crink in your neck.
