Great dog park. Many dogs to have my dog play with. Nice paths by stream. Will return for more play times.
The park was smaller than I expected. Nice little area to get ny dog in the water. My only disappointment was dog owners not really watching their dogs as they kept trying to get aggressive with mine.
Well maintained and love that theres a small area with water access! Just make sure you check the Madison parks website before you go for the status of the water quality to make sure there arent any active algal blooms. They test the water every day
Short walking loop, clean area, just be careful after rain because it gets really muddy!
Good sized park. Space to be social or to have quiet time with your dog.
Always a lot of dogs here. My dogs love it! Theres trails and water access for my dogs to swim. The people that come here are always really nice too
This is my favorite dog park in Madison, and my dogs love to visit too. I love that there is one long path and a smaller enclosed area for older dogs. I have to keep my Springer away from the water though - its way too muddy!
Very fun place to walk around, my friends and me tried sledding down the hill on a card board box it didnt work that well. I would recommend this park.
Very nice off-leash dog park. Quite a long space to let your pooch get a good run. There is water running along a lot of it on one side, so you may have to give your dog a bath if they like the water.
Nice big space, all mowed, with shade. And swimming. Also not very busy. One of the best in town.
People and dogs were extremely friendly
Separate small dog area, shade and sun nice mix
Pretty nice dog park. Your dog will most likely get wet and may get muddy if they get into the marsh.
Who even knew this was here?! Great spot-unfortunately this summer, the green algae invaded the beach area for the dogs to swim. My two Great Danes dove in despite that but it is poisonous apparently for dogs. Great community too-they fill up extra gallons of water for anyone who uses the park!
Huge park with open fields and wooded areas with lots of trails. There is also water access if your pup likes to swim.
Lots of room for the dogs to run and play. The park is always kept up great!
A dog ate my dogs poop here and their owners freaked out on their dog. I will never forget that moment so 3 stars. Large large area no wooded areas.
Beautiful park with plenty of room for the pups to play. My dog loved jumping around in the water on the shore (unfortunately) and running through the fields. Well be back!
My favorite dog park in town. People are friendly, and clean. There plenty of room to run and some great shady tree trails. And so far, the best water access at a dog park that I have found.
Best dog park hands down. Dogs are great and all owners are wonderful. Very welcoming park.
Awesome park and my dog has tons of new friends!
Best dog park in the area.
Cute place with a lake view
Great park with a wonderful beach area. Our puppy loves it! Its awesome to be able to take him for a nice walk through wood area without leash.
The park has ample open spaces as well as a wooded backwater shoreline.
Two huge fields, woods with squirrels to chase, and a doggie beach make this the best dog park in Madison! Also has a separate fenced area for small, shy, or older pups.
Beautiful! Spacious! Delightful!
Beautiful park - love the easy access to the lake for the dogs to swim in. I’ve never seen more than 5 dogs there at a time which is unfortunate but other than that, it’s great!
Very large with access to a lake for your dog. Well-maintained. Has mulch around the perimeter so even when it’s a little muddy it’s not too bad.
Fantastic mix of woods, water, and field. Someone else clearly loves this place, too, because the dog water jugs are always nicely labelles and organized.
Beautiful scenery nice walking paths nice dog park
Great size dog park
This is a nice park with both wooded and open trails and lake access.
I dont think Ive ever been to a dog park with as much access to the water. My dog (a greyhound) doesnt really get the whole swimming thing, but she loves to splash around in the shallows.
Great park! Plenty of space for dogs to roam around
Great park, but some visitors fail to control their dogs. Be wary of you have a smaller pup.
Great open dog park with water access and puppy park too!
Great dog park, Shade water nice wood chipped paths.
Huge! Great for ball throwing. Most of the dogs and the owners are friendly.
I went here last week with my child. I was caressing a mahogany dachshund, when a chihuahua named wa wa, broke off its leash and unleashed its tongue on my childs upper calf. My child began to startle but was not nearly as upset as I. When wa was owner, Mark was unapologetic, I took my child and left the park without further indulgences. I will not make a return to this park in the near future, though I must acknowledge that the dogs were cute, with the exception of wa wa.
Such a large popular dog park if you live towards the northside of madison. Evrybody and dogs are friendly! Love how theres a little pond where dogs can enjoy themselves. The con is it can get pretty icy around the winter and dogs and people can hurt themselves, if only they had a rescue kit by the pond just incase a dog falls into the icy water or if somebody gets hurt.
Large dog park, but not so big you can lose your dog. If they are inclined to get in the water, they will be wet and muddy. Bring a towel. Mosquitoes can be bad.
The ground is finally frozen, no more Squishies.
