Yahara Park Place is a phenomenal little spot to watch the sunrise or the sun said here in Madison. It’s not usually very busy on the other side of the Yahara River, where there is a little picnic table next to some houses. On the other side is the main park. It is quite long and expensive, and there’s plenty of room to social distance, have a picnic, play volleyball, and there are even stairs that lead into Lake Monona, so you could go swimming. Overall it’s a Madison favorite for the Willy St. Area. Love this park.

Lakefront featival with friends. Great music and Free. 2 days of live music with some good bands. Neil Francis and his Hammond B3. They travel gig to gig with the organ. Nice. ERic Mcfadden from New orleans. Loved his song writing and music. The festival stull has long lines for food and beer, but the music is free and the weather was nice.

One if the better lake side parks surrounding Lake Mendota. Has a legit playground, volleyball court, and although its not incredibly wide its big enough to throw a frisbee without fear of it going in the street.

One of the man many parks Madison has to,offer. Dogs allowed. Close to the water. Sunrise to sunset your mind will be taken away from it all. Joggers walkers. Kids so much space and playground equipment. Watch the fisherman year around! Tucked away by Olbrich. Special. Books and benches just in case you come by!

Best piece of public lakeshore property on Lake Monona. Great for a stroll, a picnic, a game of pickup basketball or volleyball, or just a place to watch the ducks. Yahara Place Park also abuts the Yahara River outlet, where many folks go to fish, paddle and even swim. The City added paddling access point (large, stone steps) in fall 2017 which make it easier to get canoes, kayaks and SUPs in/out from this park.
