Great walking and jogging paths with lots of fire pits and picnic spaces. Beautiful wildflower fields and lake views. Great place to see a sunset. Paid parking during work hours. About 1.9 miles round trip unless you take one of spurs.

Well maintained trail system through the woods. Even after a rainfall, the trails were in good condition. Trails are on a hill going to and from the lake shore of Lake Mendota. Stairs and bridges are built to make the climbs safer.

Gorgeous nature paths right outside downtown Madison

Definitely make it out to the point for nice views back towards the plaza.

We love this place! It can get pretty packed with outdoor enthusiasts, but that is never a reason to feel deterred from going for a morning/evening walk, jog, run. Very well marked and clean paths.

Probably the best outdoor location in Madison metro, you can reserve fire pit spots and they even provide the wood to burn. Just gorgeous for a night out with friends.

Very beautiful place for a walk. The shoreline is pretty, but be sure to look at the woods on the inside of the loop every once and a while too.

It stretches from the Eagle Heights Nature Area to Picnic Point on the University of Wisconsin campus in Madison. A real jewel!
