High Point is a really nice, large park in the middle of a pleasant residential area. My dog and I enjoy walking here in the mornings for some play time! The paved trails are especially nice, and I appreciate that its big enough it never really feels crowded.My only complaint is that many people regularly violate leash laws. In the city of Madison, dogs are required to be leashed in public (with the exception of the posted off-leash dog parks). I frequently see off-leash dogs with their owners, which can definitely make us feel less safe. There have been times where weve left the park entirely because so many people have their dogs off leash that we dont feel comfortable.With all that said, its still a great park, and were thankful to have it nearby! Going early in the morning is our favorite — its never crowded and always has a beautiful view with the surrounding trees.

A large park, tucked away in a residential area. Spacious, with enough room for multiple soccer fields. No shelter though.

Great park, very quiet. Its in a residential area, so you dont have to worry about traffic really (although Watts can get busy) and the playground is set way back from the road so no worries there. There is a soccer field as well as some basketball courts and and LOTS of open space to run around in. Usually isnt very many people there, unlike Elver just down the street which is usually pretty busy, so you usually have the place to yourself.

Theres no place in Madison quite like this when youre walking alone at sundown

The park is very nice and great for families, but the only thing is missing is a public restroom, which makes us only be there for a short period of time.

Nice location but they need a portapotty for games and the weeds/grass was way too long for our soccer game.

Wish they had a bathroom or porta potty for soccer games
