My baby girl Bella and I always enjoy walking through Lottes Park. Bella likes to go down to the water and get a drink.

Too much blown in grass at the ramp otherwise perfect launch and facility

For a small boat landing (single dock) the fact that it is so long makes it flow well. It never seems to be over trafficked and makes for a quick in and quick out.

Limited piers makes for low traffic and easy in and outs.

Great boat launch! Easy access to all the lakes.

Lottes Park is a terrific place to put in a kayak! There is easy access to Upper Mud Lake and Lakes Waubesa and Monona, and lots of human activity along the Yahara River. You can even put in for food, drinks, or ice cream! Madison/Monona/Dane County Lake Access Permit required to launch and park.

Good place to launch our kayaks from, but watch out for the huge hole in the lawn by the kayak launch!

Be sure to park in the right location,park service will give you a parking ticket

So they took a boat launch w plenty of shade and parking w gradual angled launches and completely ruined it. They tore down all the trees, made fewer parking spots, and made both launches so steep I cannot even use this place anymore. Whoever was in charge of this project is a complete idiot.
