Quite a nice beach, the sand is usually soft and good for digging. No facilities, but plenty of trash cans on the walkway.Pros:-High quality sand-Very few people-Lots of space during low tide-Relatively warm water-Very shallowCons:-A bit noisy-Sometimes smells, although quite rarely-No dogs allowed from May to October-No lifeguards-May have seaweed, although usually its clean
Its easy to find parking when the sun is going down and I enjoy the strolls there.
Kings beach will always be one of my favorite places to go walking. Not really the best to swim at all the time but hey its still beautiful to admire
Just a great place to spend the morning doing whatever gets you going. Great place to watch stormy seas, too!
Nice place to walk. When its high tide the waves are crazy.
Great beach area, well maintained. Occasional social events.
This is a beautiful stretch of semi-urban coastline with public access and views of Egg Rock, etc. Kings Beach is mostly submerged at high tide (but not 100%, on the Swampscott end) though surprisingly wide at low tide. The seawall has numerous access points and offers compelling surf at times. Adjacent Red Rock Park is excellent but has no facilities. The major downfall of Kings Beach is the shameful emission of sewage overflow/contamination into the ocean that makes water use a decidedly at your own risk venture. Swampscott and Lynn officials have paid lip service to addressing the issue, but it remains. Posted water quality status was a promising initiative, but testing/updating occurs far too infrequently for this to be of much use.
Beautiful sea wall and right next to home
We walk the beach 1-2 mornings a week year-round. Plenty of parking, gorgeous views and its helpful to have benches and trash barrels along the sidewalk. No public restroom and not everyone cleans up after their dog so sometimes you have to keep an eye out when walking. Love coming here and would recommend it.
Love Kings Beach. It’s beautiful and the walk path is amazing. I love the proximity to both Nahant and Swampscott. Great restaurants and shops
Smells at night tide but peaceful listening to the waves
***PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT*** - There is NO Public bathroom or Bathhouse @ Red Rock Park or @ Kings Beach - you have to walk/drive down to the Rotary/ Traffic Circle/Roundabout for the Public Restrooms & Bathhouse @ Nahant Beach!Other than that, this is the best part of the beach - not overcrowded, free on street parking, and a good time in the water/at the beach! Check out all my pics in the photos for this area!
Great place for photography of rough seas. The beach is nice and shallow way out at low tide.
Such a pretty beach
Lovely walk along the water.
Beautiful place to walk and take in the view.
Cool place to just chill!
I love this beach and the area for walking and exercise. The view is amazing! The downside is at times the smell coming off the ocean is unbearable. I believe with some environmental cleaning and care that can change. Other negative is that there are some people who bring unfriendly dogs to walk so if you have a furry family member with you be mindful. Other than that I grew up on this beach and its a special place to me.
Can never erase the memories here..GREAT PLACE 2B HERE ALONE, OR WITH A LOVED ONE !!!
This was an unscheduled stop actually. I spent the day here with the family. It was enjoyable. There is free parking and stores and restaurants nearby. I have been back three times since and would recommend this anytime.
So beautiful and clean love this beach!!!
The water is brown, not suitable for swimming
Its a beautiful and nice beach. The problem is when we walk down to Revere direction, the beach smells really bed. I guess some action must be taken to minimize or resolve this problem.
All ways a nice little piece of beach. Do bad people put there trash in the sand and on the ground. There is a lot trash barrels around. The beach is good.
It was a beautiful Sunday morning, uncrowded, sunny, large ocean waves, really lifted the spirit.
You get to see the waves crash over the walls during high tide. Especially during storms
Nice. Why arrows and fences????
Its such a calming and beautiful place to relax and enjoy the view
Great place to take a walk from Nahant to -swampscot.
The benches were clean and a nice spot to sit and enjoy the ocean breeze.
Picturesque
Beautiful beach, nice place to fly a kite or go wind surfing.
Not that many people in the afternoons
Beautiful tide pool in red rock, nice beach, freee

Prettiest beach ever found cute little crabs on the beach plenty of wildlife sea critters to look at when the tide is gone
Nice beach
Great place to watch fireworks on the 3rd very clean and not too crowded
Peaceful calm place to relax
Great beach with great views, but the place gets small at high tides, and the water isnt as clean as we wish it was
An urban beach in lynn. Lovely walkway, with a small gem of a park at Red Rock. Easy walk north to Swampscott or south to Nahant. Concerts on summer Thusdays. Only negative is some traffic noise fron the Lynnway. Wheelchair accessible, steet parking, no charge. Busy on summer days.
Beautiful beach!
Nice for walking and free summer concerts on Thursdays.
I love it it’s the best
Perfect place for a jog and enjoying the ocean.
Neighborhood a little sketchy. Wonderland or Revere beach better bet.
