Beautiful place, well kept. There are lots of places to fish around the lake. My daughter loves the playground. Theres a dock and small boats available, some benches for sitting on the dock and around lake. Theres also a store sitting on the dock/lake. The staff is so friendly and kind. We go in the store to look at the live bait and maybe pet a fish or two! The staff are well informed and so helpful. Weve always met lovely people at lake Isabella. Its a family favorite and close to our hearts

The campground was great. A fun spot to explore both the lake and river. Very fun playground.

Great place for family activities and now that it is hard.to congregate at church, we can have our worship services here in open doors, in contact with nature: Gods Creation.

Very nice park... cool store, clean bathrooms, friendly staff, great handicapped access... we made some happy memories today... fishing and picnicking. :)

Its a peaceful place peaceful communing with nature always helps me a great deal I saw someone fishing but I dont have any fishing poles so I couldnt join in but I sat at the picnic table and colored and took pictures of the beautiful fall colors in the trees

Lots of open shoreline and docks designed specifically for fishing. Boats available for rental for fishing. Well stocked fishing store with everything from rods, reels, lures and fishing bait. Well maintained clean restrooms.

I love coming here to get rocks to paint with my daughter. And its a beautiful place to let her run around and play

My reviewer for lake isabella campground with 2 person : as you can see in the picture, it has fire ring to be shared with 4 sites. so this campground is certainly for big family. there is no entry for cars to be on the exact site so you need carry on all your belonging from parking lot. there is no power outlet. they are not secluded, but borderless and open wide. the worst thing was it was so full of highway noise and it bothers so much. i visited the weekend which was fully booked, but when i got there at 6pm, there was only 2 site occupied, which was really odd. i just left, persuaded myself that i just donated my money for the park.

Clean park. Friendly attendants. Adequate parking. Nice shelters

The fish were not biting the day we were there, but its a really nice place to take the family.

We caught so many fish here. I’m not at all an experienced fisher but with a little patience we had a bunch of these little guys biting. Would be great to bring kids here to catch some smaller fellas and if your more experienced there’s plenty of bigger ones too, as they say fun for the whole family. I really enjoyed the employees knowledge and helpfulness. Next time I’m definitely bringing the family. PLEASE bring sunscreen and water if it’s hot out there’s not too much shade where we were and the sun is very strong near the water.

I love the fact you can rent canoes and fish. There are place areas for the little kids. A nice place to go and spend the day with the family.

Waste of money. Spent a whole day with 3 of my friends and we didn’t catch a single fish. None of us are rookies, in fact we’ve all been fishing since we were kids. Don’t waste money in a pay to fish lake

A beautiful park for grilling, meditation and also go fishing and boats for rent. There is is also a restaurant and a store for fishing and boat rental.

There are picnic tables throughout the park. The store on site has everything you need to fish. You could literally show up with nothing and buy everything you need - bait, tackle, poles, lures, etc. You do have to pay to fish and row boats are available to rent. There is a nice large outdoor deck with docks where you can eat. They do serve food. Restrooms were clean and well air conditioned. We spent 4 hours here fishing and didnt get a single nibble. I think it is stocked with mostly catfish and trout. I asked several others if they had any luck and got the same response. One guy said hed been there the last three days with no luck. If you are there to catch catfish and willing to sit and wait it may be worth it. I took my 8 year old and he was bored and frustrated that he wasnt catching anything.

Staff was very helpful to my son and I. Even the maintenance man checked on us.

With a nice stocked Lake and canoe access to the river with plenty of picnic benches and A well-stocked Boathouse with knowledgeable staff what is not to like about Lake Isabella

I only spent a few minutes here but its an extremely serene park tucked away off an highway.

I enjoyed walking down to the river,there is a cool sandy area there too.The lake only had a couple of people on a weekday so it was great.We picked up some trash people had left on the ground also.It was a pretty clean place overall! I didnt see much wildlife but a fisherman said there is a heron and an egret that visit.

No fish was biting between 7 and 2 weather had a great deal to do with it though!!!!

I love this place just to chill, walk a little, fly my drone and appreciate the scenery. A plus if you like fishing or even want to Camp out during the summer.

Its peaceful here. Lots of tables overlooking the lake. Picnic areas. Play ground. I dont fish, but you can fish here, and there is a fish & tackle shop.

I have had some really good days fishing for trout and catfish. Not too good for much else. Had some bad days fishing there as well. Guys in the bait shop are very friendly and helpful. In the summer on fridays they have a cookout and an acoustic band playing usually... dont think it is every Friday tho... check the web site.

Not a good population of fish and not good for kids as some people smoke pot their though the staff is nice which is why it has stars.

Grew up learning to fish here. Wonderful place for all ages. Anytime I come to the cincy area I always try to stop and fish. They sell isralies here for bait and I know a few have gotten loose to grow big!

Nice. clean. not many fish in lake. last Sunday fishing tournament produced one 2.5 pound fish and I dont think another over a pound and I believe there were over 100 people registered. but it was fun and the staff was great.

Love to go here and walk around with the dogs, or bring the kids to run off some energy. Heard the fishing here is really great by the fisherman multiple times, but still havent managed to get here to do that ourselves. Great little snack bar of necessary (hot summer days!) For a quick ice cream or snack.

Went to a family reunion here. Our pavilion was right next to the interstate overpass which created road noise. Bathrooms are only at the boathouse which was quite far from pavilion. Probably a fun place if you are doing something on the lake. But Winton Woods is much better in my opinion.

Mostly only am familiar with the kayak launch. But is a good one. Easy access with a not too steep grade. Parking is plentiful. Highly recommend as an entry/exit point if planning a kayak/canoe trip

Use to take the kids there when they where little. Wish they bring back the old frischs was so nice to sit there look out the window at the lake and peaceful. Kids liked feeding the ducks to.

Very nicely maintained park.The biggest drawback is its very popular for family events and parking is difficult. and crowded. Must reserve ahead of time if you want a shelter.

Love this lake! There are an abundance of blue herons here! Only problem is no trails for hiking that I can find, but back of park abutts the little Miami and there is a boat launch. Employees are always super nice and helpful! Nice little room for parties and great place for photo ops for engagenents, graduation and other special occasions.

An interesting park to visit - a sizeable pay lake, wooded picnic area with beautiful older trees, and a store with fishing gear and snacks. Nice people work there. Furthermore, the little Miami flows along the edge and it has canoe and kayak access. There, a year ago, I saw an otter swimming upstream. I also enjoy walking out onto the dock with my wife. Did I say small boat rental? I should have.

Its very mediocre. Fishing from the shoreline, almost anywhere will surely cause you to snag over and over again. Poles are very fairly priced and the younger employees were very helpful and nice.

Worst experience ever. We paid for a boat to fish. Once we got outside there were no boats available. They had holes in them amongst other issues with the boats. They also let someone who didnt pay for a boat load those things on a working boat and take that boat from us. Terrible experience on top of that the fishing poles were trash. I will never go to this place again

Except for the heat which is out of anyones control the park was very nice. The people were nice and very helpful. It is a nice location to fish, picnic, or camp.

Camping with very young kids is great here, not too big, and 3 mins from stores to get ice, batteries or get some Chipotle. Also great for beginner campers, yes your non outdoorsy daughter will even like it

This is a nice place to recreate for the whole family. The lake is beautiful and has well kept and maintained shorelines for fisherman. I personally have not caught many big fish here but I do know they are in there. Really just an awesome little gem tucked away in a forest near Loveland right off 275

My husband likes to go fishing here maybe not so much. There is a park away from the lake where you can have picnics and everything and its lines up with the Little Miami River. I like that.
