Nice surprise. Always hard to find a free place to put the kayak in the water and now we will have no stress. Seems like it can be busy during peak times, but still well maintained from trash. Pleasant surprise. Will be back

Busy with river access, but get on the trails and you have the place to yourself! Parking is limited.

This small nature preserve has a full time park ranger sitting here and walking the trails very frequently. My visits feel the same as having a cop follow you for several miles while you are driving. There are also multiple cameras in the parking lot.A sign warning of loitering. The feel of the place is more prison yardish. Less nature preserve. Ironically the extreme security makes me feel less safe here.In November the park was open for extended hours several days. Apparently while open to the public it was only open to the public if you brought a dog to walk. I was threatened by the park ranger with charges because I did not have a dog. Unknown to me that meant I had no right to be in the public park during extended hours open to the public. I know how it sounds. Im not making it up. Im not crazy. I have no criminal record. This actually happened. 11/28/17 was my visit. 12/21/17 was the threat over my visit nearly a month later!

It was beautiful as the fall colors brightened up the trail. Very quiet and peaceful!

This place was nice for hiking. Nothing super long but still had some up and downs. The water looks great for kayaking. However, there were a lot of silkworms in the trees. So if you dont like the idea of being around that maybe check somewhere else. Idk if its a time of the year or what but if you dont plan on the trails the water would be perfect.

Great place to launch a kayak!

Quaint little spot. We park here to get our canoe on or off the river, its not marked well on the river, so you have to know where youre going. They recently added carts to haul kayaks to car. Theres often an officer here so it seems pretty safe. There are nice trail loops too get in a short or long nature hike and a pavilion for meetings and picnics. There is one porta potty so go before you leave home!

This is a gem on the Little Miami River. A great place to take a walk if you are working in the Loveland or Montgomery area. It is a little creepy sometimes, so take a stick.

Good place to drop off kayaks

Great drop-in for kayaks/canoes. About 5 miles to Milford Bridge, 10 or 11 to 50West. Large parking lot, straight trail to the drop-in, and even a usually-clean port-a-pot. Beware the first rapids on the left tho. Theres a submerged tree trunk in the middle and Ive seen many yakkers and cabrewers lose it all a quarter mile in.

Great place to put in kayaks. Carts are there to help get them to the water. Parking needs to increase for the busy days

Great place for a nice view of the little miami river. Clean walking trails, good fishing. I always feel safe at this park because it has cameras of the parking lot.

Beautiful scenery quiet and private

This is a nice park for hiking and dropping your boat into the river not much else here. This isnt a complaint just dont want people going here for something it isnt.good: hiking, boating, parking, weather protectionbad: no play ground, some time weird people here.

Be prepared to be harassed by the clermont county sheriff while youre there. Female sheriff was incredibly rude and literally told some friends and I to leave before she gave us a citation. Though what we were doing was within the scope of the law. Stay the hell away from clermont county. They constantly prove themselves not worth the trouble!

Good place to put in your canoe or just walk around the trails. Pleasant place to hang out.

Totally had my first kiss with my girlfriend here by the river so obviously 5 stars. Really pretty little hiking trails go throughout the park

I love walking along the river here. It isnt very well known, so there isnt much traffic here usually. Definitely worth checking out!
