I absolutely love Happy Acres. It has been a little while since Ive been to swim, but it was essentially my neighborhood pool when I was growing up. I would always bring a friend and we would spend hours playing basketball and cooling off in the pool. I know its not exactly youre standard country club and sometimes pompous folks try to talk down upon Happy Acres; however, those people are missing the point. This is a swimming pool, and it is a very nice one at that. Besides that, it has everything necessary to make for a good pool. Its got a concession stand, it has bathrooms, it has plenty of lounge chairs, trees for shade, and plenty of privacy as the place is shrouded by tree cover from the outside world. If you live in the Fern Creek area, Id highly recommend checking out Happy Acres to see if it can help you and your family burn some time on a hot summer day. The price beats Woodhaven of Wildwood Country club, and if youre trying to relax and swim low key then youre looking at the perfect place. I have photos, but theyre way too old to post as I understand that they have made some renovations.

Parking lot has room for improvement, pool was decent. The chairs are way low for us fat folk. I didnt use the restroom. Lifeguard on duty was nice.

Rest rooms need clened up.
