A beautiful area to throw a football or frisbee. I hear they are adding more sand volleyball courts so stay tuned for that! Sunset Rec has allowed my student group, Grace on Campus, to hold our annual Fall BBQ, and they accommodate so well.

Seemed like a nice place was wasnt allowed in since I didnt have proper ID... oh well.

Gorgeous pools. great place to go on sunny days. They also have sand volleyball courts and a lot of open field space on the upper part of the site. You can check out a volleyball to borrow at the front desk. Be aware that only UC students, alumni and their guests can get access to the facility The 1m diving board is only available during open dive time, which is typically 1-3. The 3m diving board cannot be used except by UCLA diving club members during diving club practice. The womens dive team practices in the competition pool next to sunset canyon rec.

Its a great outdoor location which is just perfect for summer trainings. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful with a lot of activities for students to do. There is a swimming pool, volleyball court, and wide open green field to play Frisbee.

The pools are refreshing and there are a few conference-like rooms to host parties or meetings.

I swam here twice in the upper pool when I was child. The pool was great and I liked the swimsuit water extractor machine in the locker room.
