One of the two locations for the annual Cloak and Dagger festival. C&D is a two day dusk till dawn goth rock festival put together by the C&D members only club owner Adam Bravin of the band She wants revenge. The festival features classic shoegaze acts such as Jesus and Mary chain, the cult favorite EDM group KMFDM, the Atomic Blonde film featured music of HEALTH, and such up-and-coming acts Ho99o9, and Drab Majesty. Be sure to follow cloak and daggers instagram, Facebook and twitter to get updates as to next years lineup and preorder those tickets!

The Tower Theater may be one of the smallest venues on Broadway but it is also one of the most uniquely designed theaters in L.A.Look closely and you will definitely see that its packed from top to bottom with authentic details ranging from Spanish, French, italian, and baroque inspired flourishes. The Towers architect S.Charles Lee did a fantastic job at designing this 1,000 seat venue to fit into such a small lot.If you ever get the chance to to take the Broadway theater tour DO IT !The Tower theater was the very first theater in L.A. to be wired for the talkies back in 1927.This is the theater where the world premiere of the very first talking motion picture Al Jolsons The Jazz Singer was held at back in 1927.This venue is a historic part of DTLA.

Rumors are that this movie palace will soon be an Apple store. I hope not. A unique theater in some degree of disrepair.
